These are my very favorite shoes... These are my second pair (I wore the other ones out after two years of heavy use), and I am contemplating getting another pair for the inevitable day that these ones die. I also am afraid DM will stop making them. Anyway, they're perfect for daily wear, as they are very comfortable, though I don't recommend wearing them for eight hours on your feet (I once wore them walking all over Seoul, and that day I understood why people sometimes wear tennis shoes). I always get compliments on them.

Everybody notices and loves these shoes. They are light and airy but sturdy at the same time, and they're canvas so you can wash them. 2nd time I've bought these!

I love these! I have them in a black floral and now the solid black canvas. Basically my favorite shoes. I wouldnt suggest wearing them in the snow or rain, but almost any other weather works. They're comfortable even on days that have a lot of walking or standing.

Just got these. Love the look of these. Fun to wear with jeans and utility pants. Very comfortable, but not much arch support if that's important to you. This is my first pair of Dr. Martens. Impressed with the quality thus far.

Love these shoes. Now when I'm wanting to wear boots I don't have to always turn to my rigid leather pair. These are insanely comfy (the lining on the inside is what does it) and look great. I wear them just about every other day now. Best shoe purchase I've made in quite awhile!

Love these. I'm a solid 7 US and they're just right. I get tons of compliments. I love the fun color. I worked an eleven hour day in these and my feet only hurt toward he end which I'd expect in any shoe. They're unique and fun.

This is my first pair of Dr. Martens and I love them! They are light weight, very comfortable and well made. Also they are true to size. Get yourself some!

These are sooooo cute, but I need to wear orthotic insoles. My orthotics fit in my other Docs, but not these, so back they go for someone else to enjoy.

I have worn these almost every day for about a year and a half now - I have taken them traveling (they are lightweight and great for walking), and I work at my standing desk all day in them. I try other shoes sometimes (including the Dr. Martens 1460 some), but I always come back to these. They have held together really well despite my hard wear, but you should be aware that they do eventually fade (they are canvas, of course, they do). After about a year, a little bit of stitching in the rubber part came a bit loose, but it is not unsightly. I get compliments on these often, but I would still wear them even if I did not. I simply love them, and I will buy another pair the second these die (but I doubt that that is going to be soon).

I'm such a sneaker fan was happy to see doc's in a lighter sneaker type selection. They fit true to size but if you have a skinny foot may feel a bit loose. To render that and since I live in NY I wear thicker socks or even double up on socks and I'm good to go! If your not into the traditional heavier doc's but love the look of the style these are a definite must have!

I can sum up my review of these totally great shoes by quoting my daughter, a major shoefashionista since age 2 - " I would buy those shoes" - a very high compliment.

I have these Shoreditch boots in eggplant purple. I absolutely love them. Today they were so comfortable that I forgot to change them when I started to do yard work. I just scrubbed them clean with a utility brush and have them drying by the wood stove. They suit me perfectly. I had better get another pair (or two) before they are discontinued.

Loved these as soon as I saw them! Great price! Dr. Martens are a favorite. These are well made, fit great, fun to wear. Hope to get them in other fabrics/colors also. AS ALWAYS- Zappos had the best price, quickest delivery, and if you every need their customer service (as I have once in a long history of shopping with them), THEY ARE WONDERFUL!

I haven't actually worn them yet but, I hope the leather around the ankle softens eventually because it is a little stiff. I was looking for a combat style boot that was not too heavy and these are them!

I had read this style runs big or stretches, and to size down. I'd have to disagree. I ordered my typical size and a size smaller and kept my typical size. The tongue doesn't stay put for me. Annoying.

Shoe toungue always slides to the side would recommend to put on foot powder because they tend to smell a little funky after using them . I always get compliments when I wear them and I like the design.

An updated take on the classic. I like the soles, they are less bulky and almost feel like comfortable high top sneakers. My only complaint is that the tongue slides toward the side really bad. I am constantly adjusting it, to no avail. Otherwise I love these shoes.

I wear an 8 in Doc Martens. When I got these I was afraid that they were too small because they were tight the first few wears. I do not wear these often but when I have I have gotten compliments from both guys and girls. I have not had problems with them being uncomfortable after they broke in a bit. Overall, these are good shoes. I got the Victorian flowers and am considering getting the plain black eventually.

The size and fit was great! The canvas material did hold up to everyday walking.

These were okay to wear, but they are NOT "Cherry Red." It's a stretch to call them "burgundy"; more accurate to describe the color as "rust," and it wouldn't be wrong to say "brown." Not at all what I thought I was getting from the image or the description of the color. Disappointed; sent them back. And other reviewers are spot-on in describing them as Doc Marten gym shoes, which isn't a terrible thing, but if you're a lover of their boots, these are not boots.

Now I remember why I stopped buying Docs. Being that they do not come in half sizes a US 9 is too big and 8 too small. I would've returned them anyway, the ankles are stiff and would require a serious conditioning and lots of wear in order to soften up. I'm disappointed, after living in hot climates with chilly winters, years of flip flop and Ugg wearing has caused painful damage to my feet and I need ankle and foot support. Back to the drawing board.
