Powerful toaster. Puts out a lot of heat. Great feature where one can lift the bread to see if it Is done without canceling cycle. Wish the bread could be lifted higher to remove so one does not get burned. Should be wider also for thicker slices.

We don't toast a lot but so far this has been a super toaster. The high settings are way too toasted,but the lower ones work fine. The bagel feature is very clever and I also like being able to take a peek without having to stop the toasting process. Overall a really nice toaster, expensive but good.

This is a good looking toaster which is important to me because I leave it on counter top. The biggest fault I have is that with smaller items such as English muffins and Eggos, you will burn your fingers getting them out. It has a extra lift from the side but it still does not bring the small items high enough.

This is a nice toaster if you want to make toast. Don't try to toast pastries in it for your kids, though, because it will fall through and you'll never get to eat it. It also beeps loudly several times when it’s finished toasting, so don't use it when anyone is asleep either.

Warning: fabulous toaster with incredibly annoying alarm to indicate toast is done (even though you already knew that from the toast-popping-up sound). This alarm is a 5-chime alarm that has been described by other sufferers as an "emergency" noise. Even my microwave only has a 3-chime alarm. My favorite line: "toast is never an emergency." Internet searches reveal instructions to disassemble toaster to remove beeper from circuit board -- thank you fabulous Zappos return policy that I don't have to go there. [NB fellow Zappos fans: from the serial number on the toaster, Breville custimer support let me know that the toaster was manufactured recently. Always the freshest product from Zappos!] I love Breville and my excellent variable temp kettle has a perfectly lovely chime. Don't know what happened.

This made a great gift for the folks who like to toast Raymond's sour dough bread slices. For 10 years or more they have had to toast one end of each slice then flip it over to toast the other. So, it won't get used as a 4-slice toaster in that family, but it is a dream-design come true for them to fit their whole slice of bread at once! We all find the alert beep to be extraneous, but this is still the best toaster that we've ever had. We've had ours for at least a year and the digital setting is really nice to see the toasting progression. Our last toaster was inconsistent, not this one! Love it. Signed toast-lover.

I got tired of folded bread because it wouldn't fit in the toaster then the cheaper toasters were so uneven! This one's been wonderful - beautiful toast every time and (weirdly) I love the plug!

If you want the best flipping toaster on earth, buy this. I'm not kidding. I think this was used by the gods and it wasn't originally meant for mortal man. But holy smokes, seriously? You won't find a better evenly toasting and amazing toaster (have to buy for the lift-and-look feature).
