These run very large. My sons normally a 1.5 and the 12 would fit him best. Didn't like the overall style of the shoe

Good summer/water shoe; good support and comfortable. My son loves them and fit perfectly right out of the box.

My daughter loves these shoes! She has a very small foot for a 18yr old and is lucky in price to be able to wear a childres's size, yet the selection is not as good as the adult women's choices. They run big for a sandal and need to fit well for comfort.

I ordered the size 2 for my kiddo and it was huge- just really long. I then tried the size 1 and it was better lengthwise, but far too narrow so these didn’t work for us.

Was hoping to love these. The heel strap is set really far back, so to create a snug fit my son’s foot was almost off the heel of the shoe. Only the front is adjustable, not the heel strap. I ordered these for my son who measures around 1.5 youth but these fit my other son, who just got an addidas size 4 trainer. I ordered a smaller size so we’ll see.

Really wanted these to work. I have 3 boys and was hoping they would last through all of them, but the fit is waaaay off. The heel strap isn't adjustable and way too long. You can see in the pictures that the strap goes beyond the back of the shoe. Unless my son's heel was hanging off the back, there was no way to get it to fit his ankle. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but we tried multiple sizes and nothing worked. Such a bummer.

I booked an extended, very active, European vacation and needed sturdy, athletic-style sandals that I could wear walking on uneven cobblestone streets, jagged archeological ruins, as well as while hiking in the mountains. I initially bought Teva Original Universal sandals because they're stylish, minimalistic, and so versatile with whatever outfit I planned on wearing. Unfortunately, their triangular plastic parts pressing down on the edge of my toes were very painful, and their anchoring side straps sat too low on my heel (they never quite slipped off my feet, but I had to settle with the vague feeling that they're just about to). I tried going up a size, same problem. Enter the Chacos (my plan B)--a less stylish but better built sandal than the Tevas, and a breeze to put on and take off. I could have lived with the fact that my wide feet slipped right through the loose toe strap (tightening the straps doesn't work, nor last) because the remaining straps were pretty nice and snug and secure around my ankle. What I couldn't live without was feeling that my left sandal was off, like the arch was too high or the inner anchoring strap was too low or somehow too short. At first I thought the problem was with me, that maybe one of my arches had dropped over the years without my noticing. It was so palpable and uncomfortable that I took a ruler and sure enough, there's a 6 millimeter difference between the strap on my right foot and the corresponding one on my left. No wonder the strap sat too low on my left foot. I'm disappointed and don't have time to find new sandals before my trip.

The straps were overall too long. My kids have skinnier feet and although the straps slide to adjust tightness there was too much excess strap and no place for it to go. Too bad because the footbed felt fantastic to their feet.

I have wanted a pair of Chaco sandal for years. I know the sandals are known for high arches. I was disappointed when the left sandal had too high of an arch and hurt to stand on it. The right sandal fit nicely and comfortably. I am not sure if this is a fluke with this particular pair; but the left sandal definitely has a higher arch than the right one. Need to return. May just need to retry Chacos in a store.

I wanted to love these but they are structurally wrong. The straps on the front are way too long, and different lengths on the shoes. I initially ordered these in a size 4 and the straps were perfect (and evenly sized) but too narrow so I tried a 5 and they still fit length wise but the straps are uneven on the front, non adjustable section. So disappointed.

We must be the only ones who didn't love these sandals. The clasp doesn't open at all, so you are supposed to stretch the shoe on and then adjust it. What a pain--it's hard to get them on and then it's hard to get them adjusted once they are on my son's feet. Also, they don't stay adjusted. These seemed like they would be great--very well made and a super-comfy sole. But they are way too hard to get on and off, and they slip around on his foot until they don't fit anymore. They are so cool, I really wanted to make them work, but I'm returning them.
