I an a bike patrol officer at a university and I purchased these to try instead of a shoe designed just for biking. The sole so far have proven to be just as good as a shoe just for biking. These actually are working better for me because they are so much more comfortable for walking and standing, which is a large percentage of my work day with parking enforcement and traffic control. The gel shoes have been comfortable from day one with no break in. So far I would buy another pair.

Wonderful shoe for my wide feet. My only complaint is that the mesh gets dirty very easily.

My son is a runner and loves these shoes. They're comfortable and suitable for running right away, that is, no need to "break them in." They hold up to the wear and tear of everyday use. He likes wider shoes and these work for him.

If you have a wide foot, you should reconsider getting these. I liked them good enough to not send them back, and as I wear them, they continue to stretched out. But initially, they were pretty tight.

I liked the style of these shoes and basically bought them on looks. The fit is, for my feet, pretty good and supports well when walking. I do power walks from home to work and back, (which is about eight miles round trip) six days a week and find that the comfort level is pretty high. As to the durability factor I cannot attest to that since I have only been using them for a few weeks, although they do seem to be holding up quite well. Overall I found the Asics Gel-Kanbarra 6 to be a very worthwhile shoe and can honestly recommend them.

This is the fourth pair I've owned. This is a running shoe for light duty. I actually use it as a walking shoe as my knees don't allow me to run much anymore.

Love these shoes. These are very comfortable. I took a run today right out of the box, and they felt great. I workout at a crossfit gym, so there's not a lot of running, but my barefoot style shoes would give me shin splints on the days we ran or jumped rope. These are like walking on air compared to those. They fit true to size for me.

Good shoes for the prices, fairly comfortable and light with decent traction. These are not as light, comfortable or performance enhancing as some $100+ shoes I have owned but are a very good value. They look nice and as pictured as well. Shipping and order convenience by Zappos gets 5 stars, very quick and accurate.

Comfortable running shoe that is great for the price. I primarily run on a treadmill and this shoe is very comfortable. I would say this shoe is for moderate runners like myself.

Lots of cushion on the bottom of your feet. The wide cut (4E) made it nice to have toe room for a change in my running shoes; they always seem to be cut so narrow.

Returned. My little toe is bony at the base, and this shoe has a thick bit right there, and puts too much pressure on it. Other Asics have been good though.

Pleased overall, but find the shoe snug I would order up a half size. I feel I may have received a narrow as opposed to the medium that I ordered. I find that I must wear thin socks. Think about returning them at times.Hope they stretch into a little larger fit.Price and style were right!

Way too narrow. I only buy Asics. Same size every time 12 D. These are different. Love the all Black style.

Not the lightest shoe, but certainly a good mid-cost option for a casual runner. I'm close to 200 lbs, and Asics have held up well for me in the past.

Shoes fit great, and look great, and the delivery time was amazing. I ordered these on a Monday (Memorial Day holiday no less), and they arrived at noon the next day! That was with the free shipping option!

These shoes are an excellent value for the price. They have excellent arch support for the person who works on his feet all day on concrete. They breathe well with the mesh fabric, important during the summer here down South! I have worn them for several years, and will continue to do so as long as Asics makes them!

Zappos has amazingly speedy delivery and this shoe looks great. The arch support could provide a little more support, but overall the fit is true to the description.

I bought this shoe based on the excellent ratings and I am very happy I bought it. My knees were hurting but after a few times running in these shoes my knees feel much better. Very good support and a great shoe.

Shoes are comfortable and look great.

These shoes were a gift to my son. He is on his feet for 10 hours or more a day. He says the shoes hold up well to his busy long days.

These were a gift for my husband. This was the first time he has ever had a pair of Asia's and we have been married 9 years! He loves his new shoes and will never buy any other brand, for now on. These shoes are the best. :)

Hello I got these shoes last summer at an army surplus store, This shoe is interesting being my first pair of Asics. The shoe has a great fit and style with a good supportive mesh upper and good overlays but the cushion is weird. It's not gel in the back seems to make no real difference while the foam and most noticeable the forefoot is rather stiff/thick feeling with no real response and the insoles are a fuzzy kind of fabric in sole which irritates with different socks and the insoles aren't really carved out to fit this shoe however I like the outsole and it holds up well with nice even wear and the shoe has good arch support and stability. I think I would go for the more pricey models of Asics or go for some cheaper Nikes because I think you'll get a softer package but if you like Asics and want to stay on budget then these would be just fine.
