These sneakers were a life saver for me. I recently bought two pairs and that is all I wear! Before I discovered these sneakers I was in pain all the time. I have a closet full of heel cups, orthotics, ace bandages to prove it! They feel great and are tres cool too!

I Love these shoes! They are the only shoes that I can wear. They provide great support, fit well and are true to size for me. I have to wear a custom made insert for both feet. I especially love that Zappos has them in all black since I wear them to work. It kind of hides the fact that they are sneakers.

These shoes are awesome. Great fit, and super sporty look. My only gripe is the light color doesn't last as long as a darker shoe.

Very comfortable shoe. These replaced my nimbus, and I have to say these are a great choice if you need cushion.

This shoe is, in my opinion, a terrific update from the Zoom Vomero+ 5, which I'd run with previously. I felt the Vomero+ 5 lacked enough cushioning in the forefoot, and the Vomero+ 6 has solved that problem. I'm a bigger guy for a consistent runner (6'2", 210-lbs.), and I use the Vomero 6 as both my race shoe and as my everyday trainer (I do between 25-30 miles a week). I've already put about 100 miles on this pair in the first month that I've had them, and they don't show and real signs of wear yet. The sockliner is very plus and durable...I have hard skin on the inside of my heels, and so I tend to wear down sockliners very quickly, but this one still looks new. My only complaint is on the style -- they went a little over-the-top on the amount of color on the tongue of the shoe, which just looks strange. But the shoe performs so well that I'm willing to overlook that. A very subtle and worthy upgrade over the Vomero+ 5, I'll buy the 6's again.

Overall, this is great shoe. Extremely comfortable and supportive. The only downside is that I feel like I have to replace them more frequently than other shoes (about 250-300 miles).

I'm a 5'9 170 lb runner who has some pronation, but not a ton. I'm using the Vomero for Marathon training and mostly for long runs. I was previously running in the Nike Structure Triax 14, which is a support shoe built on a somewhat similar last. I also have wide and almost flat feet, and the front of my foot is pretty high volume in terms of width and height. The Vomeros are definitely the most comfortable shoe I've worn on my difficult to fit feet. I could almost even fit into the regular width, so I suspect these run a little wide (as others have said). The toe box is very generous, and the arch support doesn't dig into my arch as I find most Asics or Brooks do. The cushioning on this shoe is simply fantastic, from heel to toe. I've put plenty of miles on them (including a PR 1/2 marathon last week) and find no discomfort, blisters, or pain whatsoever. They actually feel lighter on the foot than their weight would have you think (although they're not a lightweight trainer), and they're fairly responsive. Again, I'm not using them for speedwork (although I've done a few quality workouts in them), but for distance training they take a lot of beating and still feel fresh and comfortable. Only negatives: the heel is a little roomier than I'd like on the 2E, and feels like it slips a little even when I use alternate lacing methods to lock it down (fit everywhere else is spot on). Also, the tongue could be a little longer, but just a little.

The Zoom Vomero has more cushioning than any other shoe in the Nike line -- or, as far as I know, in any other. The most cushioned shoe in the Asics line, for example -- the Gel Nimbus -- doesn't even compare. To get this level of cushioning, though, it gives up a degree of structure, strength, and durability. This is not a shoe for sports or cross-training; it doesn't support the foot well enough. For running it will be great if your foot doesn't need a more structured shoe but may not last as long as less cushiony runners. But for walking and casual wear, it's fantastic -- you can't do better.

I bought these shoes (Nike Vomero 6, Men s size 10) in May 2011. I trained for and completed my first marathon (Twin Cities Medtronic) in these Nikes. After the Marathon, they were clearly wearing out (as would any running show), but worked perfectly the entire time. I wore them for several months after the marathon because they fit so well, but with the soles nearly gone and the side netting beginning to burst, I reordered the exact make/model today.

I swore by Nike Pegasus for years, but when I tried on the Vomero, there was no going back. These are the best shoes I've ever used. I damaged my foot a few years ago, using basketball shoes on a basketball court (they wouldn't let me on with running shoes, because they might damage my foot; go figure!) I was told that I would never be able to run again. It took some time, but with Vomero shoes, I can run again.

Great shoe. I just came back to these after running in New Balance for a year. I will stick with these from now on. The cushioning is great in this shoe and fit great. The fit is the same as New Balance. Give them a try! Great service from Zappos also!

Perfection! I have been a fan of the zoom vomero series and it just gets better each time. This is my favorite pair. Perfect for running and for cushioning. I need to order another pair!

2nd pair of Vomero's. Great cushioning and work well with orthotics. Mostly treadmill 4.5 miles x 3 or 4 times per week. Also great for casual wear.

Fit great & feel great. Ran a half marathon after only running about 20 miles in the shoes. They were amazing.

Short and sweet. I have severe back issues and this sneaker is the most comfortable I have ever had on my feet. When I tried one on with my other foot in my "New Balance" I walked in wearing, my NB sneakers, they felt like they were made of rock when compared to the Nike. The price seems high, but think...if they last one year, that's less then 3 cents a day. Trust me...buy them.

I am 6-4 and weigh 240 lbs. and walk 5 miles every day. Current Vomero shoes have 3000 miles on them and still give me support. Love these shoes and Zappos.

Brilliant running shoe, with integrated air throughout entire sole and decent rear foot stability it is the perfect compromise for middle distance urban runners.

My cross country team went to a running store, and I, going in, had no intention of buying shoes. However, after running on the treadmill with these, I fell in love with them. They just felt so good on my feet that they were a must-buy. I have been running with them for a while now, and they feel great every time.

Best cushioned shoe on market. Period. To appreciate its lofty softness, stop after running for 20-30 outstanding minutes then resume and you will smile. I started with 4s and had a number of pairs, 5s were okay; 6 is back to top. I anticipate purchasing more pairs every 400+ miles. One thing though, 4s were built better than these. Still, I think everyone should only run in these regardless of foot type just because of its plushness.

These are very comfortable shoes with excellent cushioning. I have very high arches and wide feet, and the Vomero 6 may be the truest fitting athletic shoe I have ever worn. I love Zappos, too.
