These are truly legit... I walk on average of 4 miles a day. I have experimented with a number of athletic shoes and these have been the perfect compliment of comfort.

Awesome shoe! I'm not sure how it will hold up in the long run but so far I am really enjoying the comfort!

This is my 3rd pair of Frees. They are still my favorite for treadmill running at the gym. The Frees are lightweight but not as minimal as some shoes from the recent barefoot movement. If you like some sole but need to drop some bulk from your feet; these are the shoes for you. I recommend buying a 1/2 size larger than you normally wear.

Great shoes. They're light and breathe well. The sole is flexible and they slide on and off easily.

These shoes are like slippers to my wife and I. Very lightweight and comfy for running or walking. Great shoe.

I run about 20 miles per week and my knees were getting sore. Since switching to these Nike Free Runs, I have had no knee pain at all. It's like running on a cloud. I highly recommend them.

These are very nice shoes. I have two pairs actually, because the first pair felt so good I wanted another for everyday walking around. I would like the style better if it were all black (i.e. no white stripe at the bottom). These are very light, so probably not very good winter shoes.

Pain-free running for me in these. No knee pain, shin splints, or sore feet. I was surprised because I usually need 'zero drop' shoes or my knees hurt. These have a fairly high heel, but this more than compensated for by a springy foam sole, and the fact that they are wider and sit flatter than most running shoes. The width seems to allow the foot to splay naturally and the foam sole cushions the impact, which adds up to no pain, for me. I love these, and I have run many thousands of miles in a variety of shoes.

This is a good walking around sneaker and a good running shoe for those transitioning to, or mixing in, minimalist running.

My picky/fastidious 9th grader wore these to school the day after they arrived. He later told me one of his best friends got the same shoes on the same day, so they are a hit with teenage boys, and I think they look very nice for school.

I am so glad that I decided to buy these shoes! They fit wonderfully (not too tight, not too loose) and they are extremely comfortable. I have only gone for a couple of light runs in them, but my main use has been daily locomotion. I walk a lot because my college campus is large and these have held up wonderfully. My last shoes caused me some hip pain after long bouts of walking, but I have been pain free since receiving these. These shoes are very light (which feels good on the foot -- not much to carry around with every step) but I wouldn't go so far as to say they feel like you're walking barefooted. Yes, you can feel the ground underneath you more prominently, but, as the pictures show, this shoe provides a considerable amount of compressible cushioning. The shoe is very flexible and allows you to move any way you wish. Overall, this is a great shoe if you don't need a whole lot of support (as the material has a lot of give) and want a comfortable, light shoe that you can both run and walk in every day!

I always worry when a new model shoe comes out. I loved the old model. Thank goodness, this model is all I dreamed of. As comfortable as socks.

Let me just start off by saying, Wow! These are by far the best running shoes that I have ever put on my feet. I have always bought Asics but took a leap of faith with these bad boys. Although they don't have the cushion of most shoes, that's what makes them so great.

This is my second pair of Nike Free shoes. The first pair were cross trainers. These shoes have a lot more arch support than the cross trainers. These are great shoes -- make sure to order a half size larger than normal.

My last pair of running shoes (also Nike's) were horrible. If I ran more than a few miles my knees and shins would be sore to the point I was limping. I was going to shun Nike forever until I kept getting recommendations about Nike's Free Run+ line. I decided to try them out and have not been disappointed. No more sore knees. No more shin splints. They breathe really well so I don't pull a sopping wet foot out at the end of a run. With the flat soles I've started using them for weightlifting as well. If you have knee/shin problems with "traditional" running shoes I recommend giving these a try.

These shoes are great! They provide excellent arch support and provide that extra cushion you need when walking on hard surfaces or going on a long run.

Overall good running shoe, true to size, snug around the heel with a roomy toe box. Only gripes, although marketed as a barefoot type running shoe, there is still a lot of heel rise, and I intended to use these without socks, a no go, the interior stitching is bad on one shoe, burned my toe. Nike makes great shoes, but I expected better quality control from a shoe at this price.

These shoes are unreal comfortable. I started wearing them just as workout shoes, but now I wear them as fitness shoes and regular everyday shoes. There so light and flexible you feel like you can jump higher and run faster, and the mesh front allows for an extreme amount of air flow. I would get a 1/2 size bigger than normal I had to return my 11.5 for 12s; other than that couldn't be happier.

Got lots of compliments on these shoes, running time improved, very comfortable!

I originally ordered the Nike Free Walk, and they had inner stitching that rubbed my foot with each step, so I returned them. I called customer service and asked if I could exchange them for the Nike Free Run+2. The sales rep was super nice, upgraded my account to VIP, and I got these Nike Free Run+2 shoes the next day! These shoes are amazing. They slip onto your foot like a pair of house slippers and are super comfortable. I absolutely love them. Zappos has won my loyalty with their impeccable service and huge inventory of products.

It was a perfect for running, very light and very comfortable, I really love this shoes.
