These are great shoes! I am 5'7" 142 pounds, and I was a little nervous to try out more minimal shoes, because I absolutely love running/working out in squishy shoes. But these are great. They are highly recommend. They are comfortable, providing enough support, no pain with running, and are nice enough looking to wear around if not running. They are a must try for those who want to try something with less cush.

After a lot of research, I switched to the Free Run 2.0 from my usual rigid New Balance walking shoe. So far, so good. The shoe fits like a glove, provides enough support, and the natural foot motion feels good. I like that the back of the shoe is low and soft and does not gouge into my heel or ankle. No shin strain yet, and my touchy Achilles tendon and bad knee feel good. I ordered a full size up, and the width and placement of the arch support are good. (The shoe is flattering to big feet!)

Just got these shoes today (less than 24 hours after ordering them!) and they are wonderful! I've been searching for shoes to replace my Merrells for the last 3 months and have gone through probably 12 pairs in my search for comfortable, minimalist and half way decent looking shoes. These fit the bill! At the suggestion of other reviewers, I ordered a 1/2 size larger and they seem to fit well. The toe is quite a bit pointer than shoes I'm used to but it provides great wiggle room without rubbing. Definitely recommend these!

Love the shoe! I'm usually a 7.5/8 and I got the 7.5. They fit snug but I'm expecting them to stretch out. I use them for running and working out. They're really comfortable and have good arch support. They also look super sleek in all black. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.

I don't run in them, but they are very comfortable for general use, lightweight, and breathable. I will be getting more!

I love these shoes! These are the fourth pair of Frees that I have owned, and they are by far the most amazing running shoes that I have ever used. They are so light, they make running effortless. The soft and flexible sole molds with your foot to give you part of the barefoot running feel, but with all of the support of a Nike. I wore these in Disneyland for 5 days straight, and my feet didn't hurt once. Great for running, walking, and every day wear!

I ordered these shoes after having severe bone pain in my calves while running on my treadmill. I had even gone to my Dr thinking I had a stress fracture, and while nothing showed up I couldn't even jog a short distance without the severe pain and then swelling afterwards. The shoes were delivered yesterday, I put them on and went for a jog. Absolutely no pain!! I was really pleasantly surprised! I knew my previous shoes weren't super great but I wasn't expecting these to fix my issue immediately. I usually get shin splints and didn't have any problem. It was pretty amazing! So comfortable and the support is great!

I love those sneakers! I bought these for CrossFit after some very thorough research. These sneakers are incredibly light, without the hard arch found in most athletic sneakers. These are great for running, lifting, jumping, you name it. They are worth every penny!

First off, Zappos is the bomb. I ordered these shoes at 2:00pm, and they were on my doorstep the very next day! From reading the other reviews, I decided to go up a half a size than my normal size in Nike tennis shoes, and I'm so glad I did! I wear an 11 in the Dual Fusion shoes by Nike, but I definitely needed that extra .5 in these. They are incredibly comfortable! The full shoe support really makes a difference. I am impressed yet again by Zappos and Nike!

Most comfortable gym shoes. So light and grips to the feet so well. I will never go back to non-flex gym gym shoes ever again.

These are absolutely the best fitting, lightest, most comfortable shoe I have worn in a long time. I am training for a 1/2 marathon and they are just great. I highly recommend them!

I'm pretty new to running but had been experiencing some pretty horrific plantar fasciitis. These shoes changed my life and my workouts. I can wear them to the gym for weight lifting and then straight onto the streets. They're good in grass, on pavement, and up or down inclines. I love them. No blisters or pain for me anymore.

I was looking for some cute shoes to be able to wear with jeans and run around town but still look cute. These are absolutely perfect.

Already had 1 pair of the +2 that I didn't want to get muddy on rainy days, so I picked up this pair of black for trail & muck. Perfect. Solved my problems with blisters & black toenails, excellent shoe for all kinds of running. Nike must have put a lot of time into designing this shoe, lucky me.

Definitely order a half size larger. This is the second pair of this style for my daughter, and the size 11 was a touch too big so we ordered the 10.5. Definitely too small so we exchanged. My daughter loves these shoes. As a collegiate athlete, she uses them for workouts and running, the first pair we bought December 2011, and she wore them every day. They lasted 6 months, which is good for the amount of abuse they got.

Very comfortable and lightweight! My feet are a little wide but these shoes still felt comfortable and stretched in no time.

These shoes are very comfortable, but quite narrow. I wore mine 2 times, then had to get a size bigger because they were rubbing my toes - I think they run a little small to size, but even with that, they're extremely comfortable - provide great support.

These shoes fit and feel like a glove. Extremely comfortable. Surprisingly good lateral support for a shoe this soft and flexible.

Very comfortable and light. Have used for short runs and walks and have been great. A little different from regular, very cushioned running shoes.

I am really happy with these shoes. I was running in Nike Free 7's, which are one level more "bare" than these. The 7's were great, but they were wearing down, and I couldn't find them in my size anymore. (Maybe discontinued?) With the minimalist Nike shoes, they go Nike Free 3.0 (most minimal as far as I know) to Free 7.0 (less minimal) then jump to Free Run +2 and +3, which gives more support as the number gets higher. I had to choose to go more minimal or less, and I chose less. I'm really happy with my decision. There isn't much difference, really, in the fit, and I hardly notice the change (except they feel more like the 7's when they were newer. I'm not an every day runner, but more like 2 times per week for 4-5 miles on hills, and these are plenty of support for me. Since using the Nike Frees and now these, I feel like my feet are stronger (particularly the arches). One thing to note that seems to be a Nike thing...they run small. I measure a 9 1/2 in the store, but for running shoes I buy 10 to accommodate for impact and expansion during heavy activity. In Nike, though, I buy 10 1/2, and they're perfect. Nike seems to have a narrower toe box than some others, and mine is a bit wide.

I got these shoes, after my sister bought a pair. Not only is she working on her second pair, but I'm absolutely a fan now too. They are so light and if they get wet, they dry quickly due to their light mesh material. I've worn them out and about for errands and get compliments on their fun hot pink color! So, not only are they great to work out in, but they are extremely stylish as well. I highly recommend them to anyone and hope they stick around because I will be getting a second pair when these get worn out!

Before I purchased my own pair of Free Runs, I borrowed my daughter's. I have not jogged in ages but my daughters and I are training to run a Color Run 5K in Grand Rapids soon, so I needed to see if I could do it. The first day that I borrowed her shoes to run I was hooked and ordered my own that same day. They were comfortable, the impact of foot to cement was without pain or discomfort. They are by far the most comfortable running shoes I have ever experienced. I recommend these shoes to everyone. The shoes arrived a day after I ordered them and shipping was free. I wear a 10 to 10 1/2 in regular shoes and go up a size in sneaker so the 11 in these fit well. They are really comfortable, even for my wide foot.I can wear them straight out of the box with no wearing in period.
