I got these for training at the gym. They are really light weight and the mesh let's air get in. The whole shoe is really flexible, too. I'm normally a 9 in most shoes so I started with a 9 for these. I had to exchange for a 9.5 which is now perfect. I need to get more colors!

These are my fourth pair of Nike Frees. I love them. I wear them constantly. They get a bit chilly in the winter. I wear thicker socks. The shoes themselves are very flexible. They are light and do not weigh my feet down. I wear them to exercise, run, and for regular everyday wear. I would recommend these shoes.

I've never had a running shoe that didn't feel like, well, a shoe. This Nike Free is amazing. They are light as a feather, and almost mold to your foot when they're laced up. I ordered a half size up only because I intend to use these for running and plyometric workouts, and want my toes to have plenty of room for all the movement.

I love these shoes! I am a basketball and volleyball player who often develops shin splints, and I really hope these will help! Have not done any hard-core running in them yet, but we'll see. On other terms, I love the look of these! They are very comfortable and cute. I tried substituting my own arch inserts for Nike's, but they left a spot under my toes uncovered that felt a little weird so I put Nike's back in. I like the idea of not having a tongue, as I have Converse All-Stars that have a tendency to fold over. I would recommend these to anyone! As usual, Zappos was perfect -- we ordered the wrong size, called (at 6pm!) to ask for an exchange and were not only upgraded to VIP status, but I got my new shoes the very next day. Customer service was very helpful and personable. Thanks Zappos!

What a fantastic running shoe! Lightweight, enough 'feel' so that I can 'barefoot run' in them on the treadmill, laces stay tied, incredibly comfortable...I can forget about the shoe and focus on my heartrate/footstrike/etc. Highly pleased. Read other reviews that said to order 1/2 size larger than what I normally wear - glad I did! The 1/2 size larger fits perfectly. It's my first non-heavily padded running shoe, and feels strange at first. The arch support felt strange at first, too. Seems like good quality and is very comfortable.

Does run a 1/2 size small. I was a doubter and ordered both sizes. Very comfortable, lightweight for aching feet.

Great running shoe. It supports my feet while running in the pavement. Prior to these I has Asics but I really like these better.

I love my new shoes! I run and wanted to get back to basics. This is a minimalist shoe and is true to size. i didn't even have to "break them in". Ran 6 the first am. Felt great! I ordered them at 8:30 on Wedensday night and they were at my door by 3:30 the next day!!! Can't say enough about Zappos! Best customer service I've ever received. I have told all of my friends:)

I ordered a 1/2 size up (normally an 8, got an 8.5) and am glad that I did. I still have some wiggle room in the toes, but the rest of the shoe fits pretty snug.

Awesome shoe. Super comfortable and super light. I usually wear a 7 to a 7.5. I only wish Nike made this shoe in a 7.75. The 7.5 was a little too small, and the 8 is a tad too big, but I went with the 8 anyhow just because I love this shoe so much.

This is a great shoe for working out and varying your exercise routine. These do not provide the best support for long runs, but they are great for an exercise class and/or working the weight circuit within the gym. Incredibly lightweight and versatile. Highly recommend for working out, just not for long runs.

I bought these shoes last year before I moved to Russia. They have been amazing! I waterproofed them before I left, and they made it through more than a year of hard work on rough terrain. I was able to run in them up and down hills in the middle of the winter - on snow and ice. Because they are so flexible, you can actually use your foot to grip whatever running surface you're on. I even went rock climbing in them! Great buy - they feel like a part of your foot. Not at all heavy or bulky.

Got these for a class I'm taking where most people go barefoot. I don't like to be barefoot but most shoes are overkill, so these are a perfect compromise. I agree with other reviewers that these are a little wider than most Nikes, but it could just be that there is more "give" on the sides. For me this was perfect - I usually can't wear Nike because they are too narrow. Also, I have received many compliments on the style.

These shoes have a totally different first feel when you start walking. Within an hour I was hooked and ordered a second pair. I think the black ones run a tiny bit smaller than the white ones. A little food for thought. I love them both but wear a thinner sock in the black pair.

I bought these for my daughter for a gym class at school. They are doing a lot of running, weight lifting, and a variety of sports. She loves them and they have been worth every penny. She has problems with shoes giving her blisters on the heel and these are so comfortable and well fitting that there have been no issues at all.

This is the most comfortable shoe ever! I buy comfort shoes and many other shoes but I have never worn such a well-fitting shoe. I'm very picky and I love these shoes. They fit like a glove, but not in a bad way; they're not tight but they are just right. You have to try them to see what I mean.

I love, love, love these shoes! They are the best shoes I have ever owned. They are true to size and very comfortable. This is the second pair that I have purchased. They’re worth every penny! I highly recommend that anyone looking for a good pair of walking/running shoe to buy these. Thank you Zappos and Nike!

Zappos has my endorsement - big time! We had mistakenly ordered the wrong shoe, a walker versus a runner. When I called them to ask how to return them the customer service representative not only made that easy, sending me an email with a packing label, but she sent me the right pair BEFORE I EVEN SENT THE OTHERS BACK. The right shoes arrived the next day.

I was searching for these shoes all over and I finally found them on Zappos! They feel like you are walking on air. I workout four hours a day and this is my first pair that does not make my legs feel heavy after running for hours. They are also great for my pilates and yoga classes because they are so light and fit true to their size! I have also gotten many compliments on them.

I normally don't buy Nike shoes because most have an arch support that does not fit my foot. However, this time I could not resist. The style was so appealing to me that I just had to try what my husband and friends had been saying. Unbelievable! They are amazingly comfortable! They are great - lightweight, super comfortable with great support shoe. The sizing is exactly accurate and everywhere I go, people comment on them. Love them. Going to have to have more colors!

I had a pair of Nike Free Runs that I liked, and when they died I wanted another pair, so I got this newer model. I like them; they are comparable to the older Free Run. They are certainly minimalist, so if you are used to running with a lot of cushioning in your shoes you will need to break them in slowly. The blue ones are also really blue. I usually wear a 9-9½ in shoes, but I've found the 10 to be a better fit in these and the Nike Rift.

Love these shoes. I actually have 2 pairs. I use one for Boot Camp for almost a year and the other just to walk around in. Need a new pair for Boot camp. You cannot beat how light they are. I also got my mom a pair and she loves them. She walks the boardwalk in Atlantic City with them. I recommend them. I had to go a half size up.

Way too small. These were either marked wrong or Nike has a different system.

I absolutely love this shoe. I am on my feet all day long and usually have to trade out my shoes daily to prevent aches. These are the most comfortable shoes that I own. I usually wear supportive insoles, but I cannot really in these. It took me less than a week to for my feet to get adjusted.

These shoes are very supportive and really improve the quality of your run. I run outside and on a treadmill and absolutely love wearing these. If you buy the Free Run sensor, you can sync your workout to your iPod and track your distance, time, pace, etc. It is incredible! It makes your workout even better because you have something motivating you - the sensor will talk to you and track the most motivating tunes for you to listen to while working out. Definitely recommended.
