I have had three pairs of Oboz hiking boots to use in the rugged terrain of New Hampshire. They last long, wear comfortably, and never disappoint.

This is my third pair of Oboz hiking boots. I started with firebrand, tried sawtooth, and went back to fire brand. Nothing wrong with sawtooth, the firebrand is just a bit more durable in the areas I need it. I am aggressive on my shoes. I work at a retail nursery and landscaping company and I'm all over the place. I average 10,000 to 15,000 steps every day 6 days a week. These shoes are exactly what I need and I will be buying them for years to come!

The Firebrand is the BEST of the 4-5 pairs of Oboz low hiking shoes I have owned. My first pair of Firebrands lasted 5 years of continuous wear/use. The soles actually fell off or I would have wore them longer! I currently own three pairs of Firebrands and LOVE them. I won't wear any others.

Best fitting workout/hiking shoes I've owned.... Wore out my initial Oboz pair after 5+years of all seasons fun. Just started to breakin a new pair this week...

Some what stiff shoe and not a lot of cushion will need break in time. Sole looks to be well constructed.

The shoes looked great. Outer surface the quality was high. The inside seem running along the entire shoe was brutal. After 6 hours of wearing them IN THE OFFICE...I had a blister forming on my right foot.

This is my fifth pair of this exact model, each of the preceding pairs having been worn down to nubs by constant wear in a variety of conditions. I dont wear them because they are comfortable. The experience is not like stepping into a pair of clouds. This is not a warm womblike embrace. This is more the stern corrective grasp of a rigid headmaster. I selected this model years ago because of a bad toe joint that hurts when it bends. I grabbed every shoe on the shelf at REI and these were the stiffest. So I bought them and the toe hurts less. I wear them on any walk of an appreciable distance, anytime I run, and as a hiking shoe. Good waterproofing. Paired with gaiters they are actually even good in pretty deep snow. Its like someone took the bottom of moderately rugged hiking boots and called it shoes. If this is what youre after, this is the shoe.

This is my 5th pair of Oboz. I wear them all of the time and walk many miles in them. The fit is wonderful and the firebrands are ideal for urban exploration in inclement weather. I do wish that the branding was more minimal. This has gotten worse with the latest pair. I hope my 6th pair will have a slightly more clean aesthetic.

I buy these for my employees. They last and stay waterproof. good comfort for all day wear too.

Hansom, high quality shoe. I have owned several pairs of the Firebrand ll. Very happy that they are again available. Easy to buy through OBOZ.

The heel rubs terribly on the seem inside the shoe. Wish the Tamarack was still made.

Great shoe. Especially if you have a narrow foot. Thhis is my second pair. I also own the Bridger Mid but the Firebrand is my go to show.

Great shoe, would be nice if the inserts were softer on the feet feels like your walking on hardwood floors. Do lot of hiking they could have better in soul's

The firebrand ll is a sturdy comfortable all purpose outdoor shoe. Its sizing is accurate. Paticularly like traditional eyelets and and fat shoe laces.

I have had 5 pair of Oboz shoes 3 of them are the Firebrand style has been the most comfortable, I still have my first two pair and wear them to shovel snow and work in the garden. The reason I bought the 3rd pair is I am wearing them in the Azores where the terrain is difficult but my feet are very relaxed. I am 74 years old and think these shoes are the best. Glad your company has made it through the Covid difficulties.

I havent had them out yet. Worn around the house. They feel great. Will be hiking in Mexico in two weeks. I think they will do the job.

Awesome hiking boots!

Owned prior model and really liked. Had slightly different sole and were regular width, new pair are wide width. This new pair tho are just not as comfortable although seem to be breaking in. Never had to break in an Oboz pair before. Hurt at ball of foot, instep etc. was expecting to be more comfortable in wide but found opposite to be true. Just received recently and havent worn much tho due to aches with them, have been reverting to sawtooth recently bought which are still great out of the box. Grey is ugly as heck too. Much darker than website pic.
