I ordered the shimano adapter because I have the "3" holded cycle shoes, and the bike I was riding already has pedals meant for "2" hole cleats. The adapters were as pictured -- I was able to install them quickly onto my cycle shoes. However, I had ordered incorrect cleats -- and am now waiting for the correct ones to arrive in the mail. I'm sure they will fit just fine once they arrive.

Great solution for shoes with three bolt setups. I bought a pair of pedals that use a two bolt clip system and scored a sweet deal on some S works road shoes with a three bolt setup, these made it possible for me to use the two together seamlessly. Great quality, excellent product!

I wanted to use my older Shimano road shoes for spin classes. This adapter saved me a lot of money and it was very easy to install. The shoes are a little clunky to walk in but just fine on the bike.

Good product...does what it is supposed to do...allow me to attach SPD-R cleats and use the pedals.

These adapters are great! They arrived in no time at all and they were easy to install. The edge of the adapter sticks out a bit from my shoe which is extra narrow; however, it does not impede with the cycling.

It's great, does what I needed it to do, convert a look 3 hole shoe to be able to use spd cleats. A bit of the square base protrudes but what can you say. Good price.

This is a great product if you happen to have SPD-L compatible shoes but want to use SPD or Crankbrothers pedals. I couldn't afford new cycling shoes, so this was a great option for me (plus it gives me flexibility for the future). They are really easy to install and allow all the adjustability for the SPD cleat placement that any normal SPD shoe would. However, while the molded piece is very light, the metal bracket and screws that come with it are not light and add significantly to the weight on your shoe. While riding, though, you won't notice the weight increase. Also, the molded piece fits well to my "Shimano SPD-L" cycling shoes, but the bottom square corners do stick out a little bit from the shoe's sole, so consider sanding them down to be flush with your particular shoes. Overall, a convenient and cost-effective product.

It needs to be mentioned that these are design for Shimano shoes. They are hugely oversize for the Lake shoes I have and the bolts provided don't fit the threaded holes in the shoes. Totally unusable. Check before you buy.

The instructions are very minimal. I installed the adapter to my Shimano shoes, no problem. Does anyone have any tips for how to install the SPD cleat on top of the adapter? It seems like I need longer screws? Or did I assemble something wrong?
