They are pretty comfy, I wear them daily to work. Not in cold weather because they are breathable and feet get cold easily, I have a different Timberland winter pair.

This is my third pair. I'm in construction and buy a new pair every fall. My old ones were beat up but still wearable. I need good support so I don't wait until they are completely trashed. I have wide feet and they fit me well. Sturdy but not too heavy.

I purchased this boot for my husband as a work boot. He is a Lond Distance Truck Driver and has to wear safety steel toe shoes. So far my husband loves them. He says they are perfect for everyday wear, there comfortable and not as heavy as he thought they would be, and very stylish for a steel toe work boot. He also loves that there waterproof. We just them so they haven't been put through the wet weather yet to test yet.

Use this shoe on construction projects and I love it. I do a lot of walking around the job site and this is the perfect shoe. The steel toe, wet proof, and electric hazard are all safety components that are nice as well.

These boots are versatile and multi-function; I wear them all day on the job as well as when I am hiking, and even riding my motorcycle. I love the fit and they are lightweight and durable.

I wear these everyday at work and walk over 5 miles over the course of the day... These are some of the best boots I have ever owned.

I'm a Machinist and Engineering Technician. Work environments cover the entire indoor and outdoor range:office, concrete floors, steel structures, and wilderness terrains for all seasons. My Mudslingers feel like I'm not even wearing workboots. I can do anything in them,...and I mean anything, too numerous to mention. I do need to caution you about going from wet locations to tile floors. As every workboot I ever owned, especially new, the first step can be near-fatal if you fail to "dry" the sole of your boots before hitting the tile. They are not waterproof. Avoid trudging through deep snow or standing in water more than an inch deep. I mean, you can if you like wet socks. I wear pullovers in these situations.

I'm a professional aircraft maintenance technician for a major airline and I work outside everyday, no matter the weather. I've been wearing these boots 5+ days a week for two years and I just finally wore them out. They are the best work boots I've ever owned and I will be buying them again! My co-workers compliment me on their styling and I have seen them buying them too.

Use these shoes for work, mostly rough and finish carpentry and outside. They are heavier then I expected but not too heavy. Support is great and they are insulated well for cold weather with the right sock.

These are the most comfortable steel toe boots my husband has ever had. This purchase was to make sure he has a second pair in the event they stop making them. They are a good fit and are very light compared to most work boots. They aren't waterproof - but the comfort is worth it.

These shoes are great so far. I've have them for about a month and they have been excellent. The only issue I found is that they aren't that well cushioned for being on your feet all day. But that's easily fixed with a sole insert (although this has been common for me in any kind of work shoe). Also if you're not used to shoes that cover your ankles the height of the shoes will irritate your skin. But after the first week all these issues seem to go away one the leather wore in. Other than that they keep my feet warm (but due to the waterproof nature cause my feet to sweat in really hot days) and they fit snug, but comfortably around my feet, kind of like Nike shoes. I find this helpful in protecting my feet and ankle from the rough terrain I have to walk on. Overall, I would recommend these shoes. The only thing I haven't experienced is longevity which we will see, average shoes last 6 months so if they last longer than that they are good in my book.

Great weatherproof shoes. I have W or 'EE' width and while Timberland PRO Gladstone ESD Steel-Toe (whichI have both Black and Brown pairs), this one has narrower tips making my feet feels slightly compressed, but comfortable for a steel-toe. just as any other hiking shoes, traction is good, but not on icy or wet surface. Personally, Timberland PRO Gladstone ESD Steel-Toe has better tractions in those conditions.

Comfortable, no breaking-in needed. The inner sole was weirdly placed, kind of like it didn't belong to the shoe, but after several hours of wearing the show, it fell into place. Zappos... what else can you say about these guys that wasn't already said... I just wish all stores would be like Zappos.

I've had these shoes going on 2.5 years. I've had to use shoe goo to glue the outside material shut (from normal wear) but other than that, the shoes have still remained comfortable and decent looking.

I have been wearing Timberland Mudslingers for over 10 years, when they first released them as all leather and not waterproof. I am a renaissance man by trade, so one day ill be working on a house, the next ill be working on cars/trucks, another day I may be working with horses, etc. Overall, they are a great looking, great feeling boot. They're not too heavy and after a long day still remain comfortable. Using them in the field they have saved my toes from a car rolling over them, and a number of horses standing on them. Unfortunately, they do have some cons like any other product. I average a year of use out of them, for the first 8-10 months they perform well and stay nice, but once they start to break down it happens quick. Usually the waterproofing fails first, next the boot will separate from the sole on the inner side. When I call it quits is when I feel the toe box wear through the inner sole, rubbing my toe. By that point its is simply uncomfortable and time for a new boot. Even though it seems like an annual investment, I keep coming back to them. Other boots have felt too clunky and unbreathable. I also find that I personally don't like the feeling of a boot covering high on my ankle, so to find a comfortable cut around that area is difficult. I can wear these with shorts and short socks and remain cool and protected, but still be able to wear a heavier sock and pants to really grind though the day. Ideally they will strengthen the quality of this boot more, but for now I will keep coming back!

Lightweight and very comfortable boot. Feels like I'm wearing a sneaker with the support of a steel toe for added protection. This is not my first pair and probably will not be my last. Just disappointed that Timberland has recently changed its lifetime warranty to just one year.
