I liked the look of these boots a lot, but they ran a little small. Also, there was no liner inside the boot so it was just straight rubber, which mad them really hard to get on and off. You know, the kind of boot that pulls your sock with it? Had to return them.

The other reviewers who say these are too hard to get on and off are not kidding. I have skinny, bony ankles and figured this issue wouldn’t apply to me, but it did! To get them off I had to sit down and pry! When they’re brand new and clean it’s no big deal, but after walking in muddy puddles it would have been a mess. I was so bummed to have to send these back.

These boots are sturdy and very cute. However, they are nearly impossible to get on. I can't say they run small because once I got my foot in the boot, they fit fine. I had to get my husband to pull them off of me! Have to send them back. So sad!

These are so cute. But they did not work for me. I couldn't get my foot in them. I have a high arch so sometimes that creates a problem with pull on styles. I would suggest sizing up. I never got my foot in them to know the actual comfort. But I did, of course, receive excellent customer service with Zappos. They helped me find a similar style because the kamiks didn't have a size up for me.

I actually feel that these boots have a really wide shaft and are bulky to walk in. I haven't really worn them much because I have other rainboots that fit better and look more flattering. These look and feel like I'm wearing men's irrigation boots, which was not my intention.

They scratch very easily! The interior part got damaged in less than 2 days and I couldn't do anything about it. At first I thought it was dirty and I tried to clean it with water but It wouldn't go away..It was the color of the boots that disappeared! If they were not the only pair of shoes I could use with this rainy and snowy weather I would definitely send them back!

I will be returning these boots. From the reviews I saw I decided to give a taller, more narrow rain boot a shot. I have thin and muscular legs so I thought these might be a good fit. I've never had a boot be too tight in the leg. Unfortunately they are so tight on my calf muscle that I couldn't get them over jeans, leggings, or even socks and the tightness was very uncomfortable. I ordered the Olivia Kamik which is shorter and doesn't cut off my circulation, they fit snug and keep my feet warm.
The boots look good, simple and nice looking, for a rain boot. Order a full size up. I would suggest measuring your calf prior to ordering.

I really wanted to love these boots. I am moving to the PNW soon and wanted a good quality rain boot that wouldn't break the bank. I read a lot of reviews and loved what people were saying about how comfortable and light weight these Kamik boots are. I also really love the company values, however... these are not the boots for me. They are very stiff and although the size fit fine (I always wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9) they rubbed a lot on my ankle bone, which has never happened with any other boots I've worn. This make walking very uncomfortable. I ended up purchasing a pair of Hunter rain boots that were on sale (I just couldn't ever justify spending this much on rain boots!) and they are much more comfortable! The plastic isn't as stiff, and I didn't think they felt heavier to walk in. If you can afford Hunter boots, or find them on sale I think they are much more comfortable wellies.

These boots are seriously cute, but BE WARNED. I didn't think I had "large calves" but apparently to Kamik, I do. I consider myself to be an average sized girl so I didn't heed the warnings on other reviews about the way these fit and I regret it. I could barely get them on and off and they were so tight on my calves, my feet started to go to sleep. So unless you frequently hear "gosh your legs are SO thin!" I wouldn't buy these. Sad day.

I am really disappointed that the circumference of this boot shaft did not fit my calves because the boot seemed very nice and had what seemed like excellent support. The rubber is solid and doesn't budge at all so don't expect even a tiny amount of stretch to the boot. It's a shame that the buckle is for show and not for adjusting the boot.

Runs small. Originally ordered a 6 and I couldn't even get it off my foot! Finally wound up with a 7 which fit fine in the house, but once I started walking noticed how constricting the ankles were. I needed up with bloody ankles which was lovely, so you'll have to wear thick socks. The boot also has no give, walking is pretty uncomfortable. Thought I was getting a steal from all the great recommendations saying that this product was far superior. With the ones I received, those reviews were far from accurate. Just bought a pair of hunters in the store and they are perfect. Definitely worth the price tag.

I could barely get these things on my legs. I am an average sized person and they were so tight on my legs I needed help getting them off. They were cute I guess but very disappointed in their sizing.

Rubbed my ankles raw within a couple of minutes of wearing. Nice looking boot but too small around the ankle, and stiff.

I love the look of these boots. The foot and ankle felt great but calf was tight. They just about fit over leggings. I don't have large calves so was surprised. Sadly I returned them.

I was so disappointed when I recieved these boots in the mail. I ordered them in black, and you can't see in the Zappos photos that there's an absolute eyesore of a seam down the middle of these boots in the front. It's very visible and very ugly. For me it ruined the look of what could've been very cute boots. They fit true to size, but they're going right back.

The boots are really cute, but I could not get my foot into the shoe part of the boot. I have pretty small calves and ankles, so maybe this was a defective pair. (I own a lot of boots and this is a first.)

For those hoping to get Hunter quality boots for a fraction of the cost, look elsewhere. The rubber on these boots is much stiffer than Hunters, and there is minimal lining, which is why many reviewers are stating that it's hard to get the boots off (I had this problem too, and have very narrow feet and ankles). After purchasing these from Zappos and I went to Nordstrom to try Hunters for myself, and ended up buying them on the spot and returning these Kamiks. There is a HUGE difference in quality. While I thought it was a little crazy to spend $140 on rain boots, I figure they'll last me forever. I can't say the same about the Kamiks. So if you're willing to make a bit more of an investment, go for the Hunters. They'll last longer, and look and feel better.

I was so excited for these and when they came and I tried them on, they were so tight on my calves I had to return them. I do have muscular calves but I haven't had this problem in awhile, perhaps because they are so tall. If you have remotely large calves I doubt these would work for you.

TRUE BLUE NOT THE SAME COLOR! I loved the lighter blue in the pictures of this boot, but when I got them they were a very dark, purple-blue. I'm sending them back because they are too similar to my dark jeans color. Zappos needs to update the color to match the real color of the boot!

At first I liked these and thought I could handle wearing them every time it rained. However, the more and more it rains, the less and less my patience runs. My calfs are just a bit under 15" at their thickest, and I still get a good amount of suction. I wore them today for the first time with no socks. That was a big mistake. I have blisters on both my ankles and they took me a good 20 minutes to get off. It is still raining and had to take my dog out so I put on a pair of socks and put the boots right back on. I am currently writing this review while taking a break before I attempt to take the other one off. They are definitely much easier to take off with socks than without, but that is not saying a lot. There is still some flexibility and shimmying involved. I sprained my lower back about 10 months ago and have been going to physical training for some time, and the amount of effort it takes to take these off (with socks on) literally puts me in pain. The ankle part is just very narrow. I have never had a problem with shoes or boots of any kind as far as getting them on or off or the circumference of the shaft. They are great looking boots for being rain boots, but I am considering selling them to Platos or something like that since they are so difficult. The foot part actually feels good, and they are pretty comfortable as far as walking in them. I live in Chicago so I walk a lot. The inside have kind of a lining, but not much. There is still a good amount of exposed rubber, which is probably why if you sweat in these, even just due to the humidity, getting them off will be a challenge (even with socks on). Honestly, I really wish I could return these and have found the Le Chameau in my size and on sale.

I was so excited when I got these in the mail, I tried them on quickly, they fit ok, so I wasn't worried about it. First snowfall here in Boston has finally come, and now that I put on some thick socks, I can't even get them on. I'm exchanging them for the next size up, which should be fine. I feel that they run a little bit small, especially in the ankle, that's where my problem was. I highly recommend ordering up a size. Fortunately Zappos makes it really easy to exchange/return. I had a hard time finding where to print up the return label, so I gave them a call and talked a very nice and helpful gentleman on the phone (I wish I remembered his name!!). So have no fear, even if they don't fit, you can easily return them.

I really liked these boots, however they are narrow around the ankle. I have pretty thin ankles but they gave me blisters on the bone that juts out to the side. They are also very difficult to get on and off...
