Very nice looking boot. Love the color. But...the calf area is small. I don't have large legs and it was still tight. Just wasn't comfortable because of that.

These barely fit my calves, which are average size, and I cannot wear them with jeans. They are small overall and hard to take on and off and I can only fit them on with thinner socks. I was very disappointed. Still deciding if I want to try the next size up.

These boots are great and look exactly like their picture the only problem we had was they run small and are very tight in the calf area. We had to return and order a size up I normally wear 9's and ordered 10's. The boots are also taller than I expected my sister who is 5'7'' order a pair in black and they came just below her knee. Zappos was super nice and helpful about the exchange and we received them in 2 days. But just make sure you order a size up!

The boots looked great but they were too tall for me. They were stiff and I can see why they would be cumbersome to go up and down stairs since they aren't very flexible. They were comfortable in the feet and wide enough to roll my jeans down in even though I have wide calves.

In a word: meh. Solid and well-made, but strictly utilitarian, no style. A heavy rubber boot, that's it. I'm a pretty typical size 8; for me they are loose in the heel and tight across the top of my foot. They don't feel like they would be comfortable to walk in. I have slender but muscular calves, and they are very loose with a huge gap at the top.

Great boots, until you have the audacity to try and take them off, at which time they become two giant suction cups. Wear very slippery, tissue-thin socks, and have your mother move in with you so she can sit you down on the floor and pull them off, just like when you were five. Had much better luck with The Janis.

A little disappointed how snug they fit around the calf (I don't have huge calves at all!). If your looking for a rain boot that is loose enough to tuck your slacks (yes slacks, NOT JEANS) into this is not the boot for you! However fits nicely w/ skinny jeans, leggings and/or tights. Comfort: Feels a little awkward to walk in but other than that they are okay. Cute yes, but not what I was looking for.

I searched forever for wellies and finally decided on the Jennifer. I liked how the ankle tapered and wouldn't make my legs look like trunks like wellies tend to do. Ironically, it's the tapered ankle that now makes me not even want to wear these boots. My calves are not large but I still agree with the other reviewers that these boots are too tight in the calf (I can just about fit leggings in them, but forget about jeans or cute boot socks), and the ankle tapers so much that it painfully rubs my ankle bones. I also have to violently jam my foot into them to get them on, and then sit on the floor and wrestle with them to get them off, and they suck the socks right off my feet when I finally do get them off. I like the way they look but it's not worth the effort. They're also a bit too tall for my 5'4" self. Anyway, I wouldn't buy them again and am trying to find someone who wants the ones that I did buy. I do love Kamik though and if you want a PERFECT welly boot, buy the Heidi model! The Heidi is AWESOME!

So I've tried so hard to own these boots but both times I've ordered them they have been too small. I wear a size 7.5 and I ordered an 8 at first. I couldn't even get them the bottom of my calves and my calves are relatively normal sized. So I returned them and got a 9, which just arrived today. I still can't get them on. They're super adorable, but I'll have to return them again. If you have literal sticks for legs, give it a try.

I received these as a Christmas gift. They are very cute and pretty comfortable. However, they don't leave a lot of room at the calf. All of the pants that I wear with them end up popping out over the side because of the lack of room.

These boots are well made and look nice, but since the rubber is thicker and sturdier than the PVC rain boots, they chafed my ankles even when I wore socks. (And I have skinnier feet than most people.) Too bad as I wanted to keep them.

Yikes! These boots are very cute however I have never had a harder time getting a pair of shoes off! With socks, with boot linings, it does not matter. The rubber causes a suction effect which makes it absolutely impossible for me to take these boots off by myself! I'm totally bummed because once they are on they are very stylish, I even ordered a 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size.

Very nice looking, but way too tight on the calves. I couldn't even fit these on comfortably with leggings on and I'm a size 8 shoe with moderately sized calves. Also had the problem at the front of the ankle rubbing when I tried to walk like some other posters mentioned.

These boots look great but I am returning them because the calves are too tight. I am fit with average calves; I think they run tight.

I really wanted boots in coral. The image looks coral but the boots are just regular red in real life and they are a bit small around the calf.

A little difficult to pull on, shove pants or legging around, but the big problem is loose ankle fit - foot is wobbly and rides forward. I have a Kamik in a toggle over ankle which is great. Hoping these would be too, but needs more support around ankle to work. Bummer.

I bought these to wear outside when it's rainy or muddy, whether I'm gardening or playing with or walking the dog. Sadly these are WAY too tight around my calves, and my feet. I had to really force them on (against my better judgement) and when I went to take them off just 15 minutes later I could not get them off. They were so stuck on me that I got scared that I would have to drive to the fire department to have them cut off.

Loved the style; however, they were difficult to put on and impossible to take off without help, rendering them completely impractical. Just fit at calves but with no leeway to tuck in pants. They also were heavier than expected.

I ordered these boots because the description noted a removable insole and I wanted to be able to wear them with my own orthotic inserts. I was able to do this successfully. I ordered a size larger than my usual based on previous reviews and was glad I did; they are still snug in the size up, but will be ok in this size (I'm usually a 10-10.5 and ordered an 11). However, even with my own orthotics, my feet and legs felt quite sore after wearing these for less than an hour doing errands in the rain. And, most problematic -- when I took off the boots, there were several wet spots on each sock! These rain boots don't seem so rain proof.

Unfortunately I had to return the boots because I have a high arch. I could not get my foot in to them.

Very disappointed. Quite good looking but as others have mentioned, the shaft is very snug. The foot area was extremely small and you must order at least a size up. Although the shaft was rubber, the heel seemed to be hard plastic. Because the next size up was not available, I am just giving up. But Zappos is my favorite: Competitive prices, great selection and extremely fast shipping.

I was looking for a sturdy boot I could keep by the door for outdoor chores. Though I loved the ruggedness of the material, these boots were a struggle to get on and off, even with my skinny legs and feet. I reordered the same brand, same tough material with a shorter top (Miranda) and love them. Easy on easy off, they have become my daily work boot. I expect them to last me for years!

Wicked wicked bummed these didn't work out. Love the style. Love the cushy footbed. Love the color. Don't love how tight they were on my calves. I knew going into the purchase this might be an issue so I wasn't really holding my breath. I usually have trouble with my calves and taller boots and these were no different. Super disappointed bc they are so cute and comfy otherwise!! If they had a wide calf version I'd buy in a heartbeat!

My wife is a 7-7 1/2. Bought size 8 hoping it would give her some room but it was too snugged. With socks on, she said it was very snugged from calf to toes. Felt uncomfortable to move around. Although the looks and construction of this boot looked great, I'll be returning this one. :(
