Got these for a trip to Alaska. Best looking Wellie on the cruise! Comfy- I usually wear an 8 narrow, and these are a 9. Able to insert an orthotic.

These are good boots and cute too, as far as rain boots go. They are fairly tall and come just to the back of my knee. I'm 5'3, purchased an 8. The angle and width at the ankle make it tricky to get the boot on and off, but I have managed a way to do so without using my hands, most of the time (often holding baby). The shaft is wide enough to tuck pants in as long as they are tapered. The rubber on the lip of the boot may pull a looser pant up as you put it on, may have to tuck pant into sock (v. sexy). Otherwise, they are sturdy in the rain, not too slippery. The sole is a little bouncy, and I feel my nerve roll the center of my right foot. This is a bit nit picky but I do like them a lot and would buy them again.

I am so happy with these boots. I've finally found a rain boot that looks cute, is comfortable and actually fits. I have small calves so the hunter boots always prove way too wide; especially since they are pre-shaped with a calf. Don't get me wrong - if you have regular or larger-sized calves you will most likely like these, too. But the shaft is just a lot straighter so even though I do have some empty space in there you really can't tell as much. I love the matte. I love the simplicity. The price is outstanding as well.

These are the best boots ever! When I first put them on I did not want to take them off. I had Hunter boots for a while but the buckle broke and I returned them. There was no problem with Zappos. But they fit much better than Hunter, look better and are more comfortable. I wear a 7½ and the 8 fits great with room for a thick sock. I have medium size legs and there is room for a thin pair of pants to fit in. I also had a pair of Onguard but they are much heavier. They are also not as hot as some of the department store rubber boots. They are a beautiful boot!

These are very durable boots at a great price! They are a great buy if you don't want to spend a hundred dollars on rain boots. I'm planning to get some fleece liners to transition them to snowy weather. The green is very classic and looks great with anything. I tend to hover between 8 and 8.5 and went with 8 on this and still have plenty of space. I recommend going down a half size.

Originally wanted Hunter boots but my calves did not fit into them. Luckily Zappos has free returns so I decided to try this brand. Most importantly the boots were half as expensive and they are great. They fit, no water gets in at all, the grey color is dark and classy, and overall the boot is a classy rain boot. My calves are still a little squished, but I just have naturally thick legs. All in all, love my Kamik boots.

Very good looking boot. Higher (within a few inches of the knee) and a good medium width on the calf -- enough room for pants but not too much. (I have average size calves and legs.) These boots are a good 'all around' boot -- can be dressed up to look fancy or worn to the store. They are similar in appearance to riding boots but you can jump in puddles in these. I like them because of the little heel and good traction. Only con was that they are a little chilly and you'll need to wear warm socks if it's gonna be cold -- so perhaps order a half size larger if possible. I got brown, but ended up returning them and buying them from muckbootsonline.com because Zappos didn't have black. Great boots though!

I bought these and I love them! They go with everything and it takes some wearing in, but then they're super comfortable.

Great boots - I ordered my regular size, could be slightly tight with thick socks but I don't plan on wearing them.

Very sturdy boot, but I had to return as the shaft wasn't quite wide enough to be comfortable on my calves. Rather comfortable in the sole, which is great with my flat feet. I had plenty of room in the boot for socks and such. The buckle on the side doesn't seem to do much but possibly aid with pulling the boots on and removal. Still, one would think you would need buckles on both sides for that to be effective.

I've been shopping around for a pair of rain boots for quite some time and I finally decided on the Kamik Jennifer in dark brown. I have to say, I'm very happy that I did! I refused to shell out for the typical Hunter's and I feel like for the price these are a great pick. They fit perfectly; I ordered my usual size 8. I especially love the matte finish and the crest on the side, they seem more stylish than your typical wellie. My only complaint is that they were a little wide around the calf, but I'm pretty slim so that's to be expected. Overall, I highly recommend these boots!

I am 5'4 with 7.5 shoe size and calf circumference of 13.5". I ordered an 8 knowing I'd wear these during the 'arctic' Chicago winters with heavy socks. They fit great! Very pleased - and they arrived in 48 hours. Love Zappos!

These are lovely rain boots! I've already gotten a few compliments on them.
The height is just perfect for me as they come to right below my knee (I'm 5'4 with average-length legs). The color is a matte black, and while I didn't think I'd be crazy about the medallion-thing, it actually makes the boots look a little more unique and classy. They're lighter weight than I expected them to be, and the rubber isn't thick, stiff, and smelly like a lot of rain boots out there. The fit was true as well. I wear an 8, and the 8s fit perfectly with either thick or thin socks.
My only complaint is the lack of arch support, but that was easily remedied by switching the insole with a more cushiony one from my tennis shoes.
Overall, these are a great buy, and I'm SO glad someone finally came out with a cute, comfortable, well-made, and affordable alternative to Hunters. Now if only Zappos would just stock the other colors....

I love these boots the style and the fact that they are recyclable ( Kamik will take them back) is incredible! I purchased a whole size up because I like to put an insole inside and wear thicker socks in winter. Even with a size up I am unable to put the insole in but I can wear a thicker sock. I like to go for walks in the winter and unfortunately my ankle bones and the side of my baby toe rub (with socks on) inside the boot and want to blister if I walk in them for 1hr or more continuously. I am 5"6" and 113lbs with thin calves and ankles so this was a major surprise. I have never had this with any boots before. That is my only complaint. I am still wearing them but I carry band-aids.

I am a heavy pronator and wore these for for almost seven days straight on a recent trip to the UK. I never had an issue with my feet -- unheard of for me, and this while hubby was having to stop to soothe his sore tootsies after day 4. I could go go go in these boots. However, after about 6 days I started noticing a pain in my left lateral malleolus (the bone that sticks out on the outside of one's ankle). It subsided overnight, then the next day the one on my right started hurting. Then they both hurt. Turns out the stiff rubber was putting just the right level of stress to cause a bone bruise! It's been nearly a month since I wore any boots, much less these, and I'm limited to shoes that come nowhere near my lateral malleolus (preferably sandals at all times). Yikes. So, they are super comfy but be careful about wearing them over extended periods while you're doing a lot of walking, like I did. Super adorable -- I got compliments constantly.

I ordered Kamik Jennifer in the brown, a size 9 (after reading other reviews (fitted perfectly), although I normally buy size 8 rain boots, but in normal shoes I'm a size 8 1/2 or 9 depending on width. They're super durable, stylish, and of good quality. I think even better than Hunter's rain boots. However, if you're considering ordering Kamik Jennifer, and you have calves with a circumference of 16 or greater like myself, it's a no no. I went ahead an ordered them anyway after reading one review in which the person, who has the same circumference was able to get away with wearing them. When I tried them on they weren't horribly uncomfortable, but I knew a tuck in jeans was impossible, plus my calves were rubbing against the rubber while walking through the house, so considering long walks (build up of friction) in them made me return these cute boots. My search continues. Nevertheless, a great buy.

The boots scuff really easily, and you can't fix them. The outer coating comes off and shows white rubber underneath, which you can't shine away. Good rain boot though. The boot looks way cutter than the cost of them.

So cute! I've had my eye on these for quite some time and finally got them, glad I did! A few things though: as others mentioned they are a little difficult to get on and off, but this might be due to the fact that I have high arches, and also they are quite wide around the calf, but I'm very slender so again it could just be me. Overall, they're so cute that it's worth it, I get compliments on them all the time!

I commute to work via subway and I have to walk 3 blocks from the train to the office so I bought these boots for those rainy days. They resemble riding boots and the strap and the insignia make them look real stylish. The rubber isn't shiny or flimsy so they look much better than most rain boots I've seen people wear. Beware that you need to break them in a little before you wear them for a long period of time (they rubbed against my ankles a little) and I have muscular calves so there isn't a whole lot of extra room to tuck in pants (unless you were tight pants that is). Overall they keep my dry and they look great, especially when paired with a skirt.

Cute option for those who, like me, cannot afford to splurge on Hunter boots right now. The side emblem is a bit annoying, and I may end up spray painting it to make it more subtle. Other than that, I really enjoy the look of these boots. I got the dark brown ones, and the color is sophisticated enough to wear to work. Fit-wise: the ankles are not really flexible and cause a bit of a stiff gait when going down stairs, but I've never owned rain boots before, so this may be something that is common w/all rain boots. No real arch support, which is great for a flat-footed girl like myself. Also, I have super skinny calves, and they aren't swimming in these boots, so that is nice. Good boot for the price!

Great Fit, Comfortable, Stylish, Well-Made, Killer price!
I got tons of compliments on the first go out. It was tough finding a boot that fit my small ankles and calves. The Hunters are just too bulky for me. These Kamik's fit beautifully. I could wear them all day comfortably. They are perfect for going over tight jeans, and I was able to get my flare jeans in with no problem. I give it 4 stars because the strap at the top is useless, when you try to tighten it, it just slips back. The calf hole is pretty narrow anyway, so tightening is not always necessary. Also, driving in these is a bit of a challenge. The toe was hard to bend forward (but this may be the case for all rain boots.) All-in-all a great buy!

The good: The boots are comfortable, they have great traction (necessary for wet roads), they look great on, and I even like the silver medallion on the side. The bad: they are hard to pull off, and the matte material scuffs easily (I've worn mine for a few days, and there are scuff marks on the insides of each boot, as though the process of walking alone creates the scuff marks). Overall, still a great choice for function, style and price.

Too tall and too narrow for comfortable walking and moving. And they were challenging to both put on AND take off. I have several pairs of older model Kamik boots, and really wish these older styles (with neoprene on the leg above the actual "shoe" part) were still available

I would give these boots full stars on comfort and overall but I wouldn't know because I couldn't fit them on my foot! Don't get me wrong, the boot is so incredibly cute. I got the dark green and it will go with everything (assuming I can re-order it in my size). The plastic is really flexible and bendy so it felt really comfortable on. The only downside to these boots is that they run incredibly small! You should still get them, but just order them at least one size bigger. I'm a size six with a medium sized calf and I couldn't get them on my foot, so I'm ordering the 7. Hopefully I won't need to go bigger.
