I tried various versions of the Hunter boots before another review mentioned the Kamiks, a brand I didn’t know. Not only are they less expensive, but the quality is top of the line and the fit is great for this type of “high water” boot. I’m an 8.5 in hiking boots but the 9 in these are fine with heavy socks. I use them those days my volunteer work has me crossing marshes and deep puddles in our winter rainy season, and definitely recommend trying these versus the better known Hunters.

A christmas gift well receuved

I was looking for boots for a few months and I finally decided on these and I absolutely love them! I live in Oregon on the coast and I wear them all the time. I just wish that I could find decent leather boots in the same style. I think I am going to buy a few more pairs in different colors. Not only are they comfortable but they look great and people are always telling me that they love them.

Just received these boots today. They are very nicely made, and a great value. I normally wear a size 8.5, and the 9 fits great. I think these are very fashionable, and love the emblem on the outside.

These are awesome! They came just 2 days after I ordered them and fit perfectly true to size. I was worried about the calf part being tight based on other reviews, but there is plenty of room there to tuck in jeans. These boots are very classy looking and look much more expensive then they are.

Great boots! I get so many complements on these every time I wear them. They do not look like chunky rubber boots, but rather sleek fashionable boots. Very comfortable and true to size.

True to size. They are a bit snug on the calf if you aren't wearing skinny jeans. If you need to throw on your boots over regular jeans its tough to squeeze in the extra material. But overall great boot! Work perfect for the dog park and walking around in the MN snow and slush!

Perfect boots for mud and rain. High boot shaft lets you tuck in your jeans to keep the bottoms dry, and 100% waterproof. Cute and not too clunky either.

I got these boots to give for Christmas and I loved how expensive they looked! The person I gave them to absolutely adores these shoes and says that they are sturdy yet comfortable.

I usually wear an 8.5. I read the reviews & appropriately went with the 9. I love the look and the quality & price match up. I'm unimpressed with the arch support & cushioning but the 1/2 size larger allows room for an insert...problem solved! Now, all I need is some rain.

they fit so well, even with heavier socks. Sizing is as described. Comfortable, though I wouldnt say I could walk for extended time in them.

I wanted to love these boots, and was initially very excited when I pulled them out of the box. They seem to be very well-made and the foot fit was great (I'm a 7.5, ordered and 8). However, the boot shaft was very stiff. Combined with my normal-to-narrow calves, the boot shaft snapped against my legs with every step (even with skinny jeans tucked in) and thus made walking in these boots a noisy experience. The softer rubber of Hunter boots eliminated this problem for me. If these had a more narrow boot shaft I think that they would have worked.

These boots are awesome!! I anticipated only needing them for rainy days but have worn them all around the garden in mud, leaves, sticks, and with a thick pair of wool socks have gone through 5 inch deep snow/slush puddles as the snow season starts. I don't worry about them getting dirty or my feet getting wet. I am 5'11 tall and they come to about 1 1/2 inches below my knee. I've had a ton of compliments on them.

Awesome boots! They fit great, have a nice slim cut -- not bulky like other rain boots, and best of all, they're very lightweight. I spent a year looking for rain boots, and I am thrilled with the Kamik Jennifer. I bought them in Charcoal. At first, I was a little concerned about the color, but it's deep and rich and a terrific neutral. In terms of size, I'm an 8.5, and ordered a 9. Nice fit with plenty of room for warm socks. Also, I read some reviews were people mentioned that the boot tended to be somewhat tight around the ankles, but I didn't experience that. All I can say is let it rain, let it rain, let it rain!

True to size. Firm rubber - doesn't have much give in it. Will retain shape. A good solid rainboot. Pretty comfortable. Also look good. Picture is a true representation.

I love these boots! Look great with anything! I usually a size 8.5, and I bought 9. It is perfect and leaves me some room for socks.

These are great rain boots! I love how they look and they are very comfortable and have great traction. They are perfectly snug on me with my Superfeet insoles inside, though they are pretty tricky to take off! It takes a few minutes each time, so they aren't convenient for quick on and off, but if you plan to wear them for hours, they will keep you dry and comfortable. I got a size 8 which is the size I usually wear in boots and sneakers. The only negatives are that they are difficult to take off, though I'm sure putting my insoles in contributed to that, and that they get scuffed a little as I walk, but it's only on the insides, so it's not very noticeable. Overall I really like these, and I would recommend them! I tried on some other styles of Kamik rain boots, but these were definitely my favorite in terms of look and feel. They seem to be of very good quality and they're more unique than Hunter.

Fantastic- after ordering Hunters and trying to get my average size calf in them, I had to look elsewhere. Kamik's are great. They fit my leg and are super warm and comfy all day. I would recommend wearing thicker socks as you might get some rubbing on your ankles. Nothing too serious though and not worth returning. They're great!

I usually wear a 9 in most shoes and boots, but I wear a 10 in Kamiks. These are very sturdy comfy boots. I have 2 pair. The rubber soles are thick and comfy. Like big giant waterproof slippers! Love the Brown! Thanks Zappos!

Best. Boots. Ever. They're so comfortable and cute, I could not be happier with buying them! I enjoy rainy days so much more knowing that I get to wear my cute rain boots. I have them in black and have worn them once and already received so many compliments! My friends who have Hunters complain that these are half the price and way cuter. The crest makes them look so fashionable! The foot area runs a little small, but is not a huge issue.

Got these for a trip to Alaska. Best looking Wellie on the cruise! Comfy- I usually wear an 8 narrow, and these are a 9. Able to insert an orthotic.

These are good boots and cute too, as far as rain boots go. They are fairly tall and come just to the back of my knee. I'm 5'3, purchased an 8. The angle and width at the ankle make it tricky to get the boot on and off, but I have managed a way to do so without using my hands, most of the time (often holding baby). The shaft is wide enough to tuck pants in as long as they are tapered. The rubber on the lip of the boot may pull a looser pant up as you put it on, may have to tuck pant into sock (v. sexy). Otherwise, they are sturdy in the rain, not too slippery. The sole is a little bouncy, and I feel my nerve roll the center of my right foot. This is a bit nit picky but I do like them a lot and would buy them again.

I am so happy with these boots. I've finally found a rain boot that looks cute, is comfortable and actually fits. I have small calves so the hunter boots always prove way too wide; especially since they are pre-shaped with a calf. Don't get me wrong - if you have regular or larger-sized calves you will most likely like these, too. But the shaft is just a lot straighter so even though I do have some empty space in there you really can't tell as much. I love the matte. I love the simplicity. The price is outstanding as well.

These are the best boots ever! When I first put them on I did not want to take them off. I had Hunter boots for a while but the buckle broke and I returned them. There was no problem with Zappos. But they fit much better than Hunter, look better and are more comfortable. I wear a 7½ and the 8 fits great with room for a thick sock. I have medium size legs and there is room for a thin pair of pants to fit in. I also had a pair of Onguard but they are much heavier. They are also not as hot as some of the department store rubber boots. They are a beautiful boot!

These are very durable boots at a great price! They are a great buy if you don't want to spend a hundred dollars on rain boots. I'm planning to get some fleece liners to transition them to snowy weather. The green is very classic and looks great with anything. I tend to hover between 8 and 8.5 and went with 8 on this and still have plenty of space. I recommend going down a half size.
