Loved this rain boot. I've been looking for rain boots for quite some time. I live in Southern California where we've been deluged this winter. Originally I was going to buy some Hunter boots. After reading reviews on Zappos, I decided to try this company - KAMIK - from Canada. This company recycles their boot, located in Canada, and the price is half of what a Hunter boot will cost you. I'm glad I did. I bought two styles of boots to try: Jennifer and Olivia. I loved the Jennifer as the height of the boot came right below the knee providing great protection. Jennifer also has a short heel. The JENNIFER is a really cute boot. I have slender to a regular sized calf and the boot was snug yet comfortable (except for rubbing against my ankle). I decided to return the JENNIFER and keep the other style book: OLIVIA.

These boots are super cute no doubt, however they are very stiff and a bit difficult to slid over the ankle part. They were very cold also. I was thinking they would be an alternative to the Hunter boot, but I ended up getting the Hunter anyway. I do love the fact that these boots are Canadian company and from recycled plastic. 10's were too tight and 11 were too big.

I originally bought the Olivia's but I didn't pay attention to the shaft size so had to return them. I decided to try the Jennifer's because it said it was 2 in wider than the olivia (at least I read it that way) it's the minutest of difference but it was just enough to let me wear these pair over my pants (yoga pants and jeans) they fit too perfectly , so if you wanted to wear chunky socks I would maybe even get a half to a full size up , but they have a velvet cushiony cover for the foot so I'll be wearing them without socks (I live in houston so that's not an issue) I definitely would recommend these!

Super cute and seemed like great quality. Unfortunately, I have to send them back because they're too tight on my calves. I'm about 5'6", 150lb with an athletic build. the reviews seemed like these would be okay for big calves, but not really... I could get them on but definitely would not be able to fit even the skinniest of leggings. :(

These boots are very good looking and I always get compliments on them! I have a high arch and it's a bit of a squeeze to got in to but not too bad. They are very comfortable with a wonderful padded sole, medium arch support, they are very warm and true to size, even with medium thick socks. They also have great traction and I can hike in the muddy hills without slipping and no blisters or pain even after 4 miles!

If you have to wear rubber boots then these are the ones. One note - I have big calves so these are pretty snug, but they do fit.

These boots are really comfy, well made, and look great. I was hesitant to buy initially because of reviews saying the shaft is small or it's hard to get on/off, but just tried them on and I didn't experience these problems. I'm 5'4", the circumference of my calves are 13.5" at the largest point and my ankles are about 8" around. I thought the fit was perfect and very stylish. I can wear thick socks and tuck in my jeans (not even skinny's!) and have everything fit. Great rain boots for a great price!

These boots arrived right before a snow storm, so they've been given a thorough workout through snow, ice and mud. I'm thrilled with them! They keep my feet surprisingly warm and provide good traction in slippery circumstances. A bit of finesse was required the first couple of times I put them on and took them off, but now it's easy. They've become my go-to weatherproof boots. Comfortable and cute ... I will gladly buy Kamik boots again in the future!

Great rain boot! I was considering the Hunter Original rain boot, but couldn't justify the high price tag. I read a review comparing the Hunter boot to the Jennifer Kamik boot, and decided to buy the Kamik's. I'm so happy I did, they fit and look great, and a good price! I purchased a size 8 (a half size larger than my 7-1/2, because they're boots). I have a normal width foot and a narrow heel, and have no issues with the heel slipping. It's a tall boot and hits just below my knee (I'm 5'4"). I highly recommend these.

These boots are really cute. I originally wanted a pair of Hunter boots but the price was more than I wanted to pay. I found these boots to be very comfortable. I plan to wear them throughout the winter with warm socks as the boots don't offer any form of insulation. I'd recommend these boots, can't beat the quality for the price!

These are fantastic rain boots and at a such a great price. I had been looking for new rain boots for a while and I was considering the Hunter's but after reading everyone else's reviews about Hunter's vs. Kamik's I'm super happy I got the Kamik and at half the price of the Hunter's. They looks very sleek, are super comfortable and 100% waterproof. The only thing I find difficult about them is that they are tough for me to take off. The inside material seems to always cling to my socks but definitely nothing that would deter me from buying them again.

I was on the hunt for a pair of boots that could take me from Fall-through Winter-through Spring. I knew I didn't want anything lined because they'd be too hot in Fall and Spring, so rubber rain boots were my decision. I had almost decided to spend $160 on a pair of Hunter boots when I went into a local store that had both Hunters and these Kamik Jennifer boots in stock. I decided to try both on and was (very happily) surprised and the difference! The hunters felt much thinner in material, much less comfortable on the feet--they kind of just flopped around and weren't easy to walk in. These Kamiks felt great on my feet, they are so easy to walk in AND drive in! They bend enough to be able to move my foot around. The material is thicker, but not so thick that your ankle can't move at all. These also have more shape, so they look more feminine. I have average-athletic calves and these are snug, but I was still able to fit them over a boot cut jean and then a pair of leggings/skinny jeans with leg warmers on. I am usually a 9.5, occasionally a 10, so I ordered a 10 in these. They fit fine with regular socks and I still have room for a thick sock. If you're a half size, order up for sure. Love the color options too, plus I paid under $50 here on zappos! I ordered the gray with ink bottoms and just ordered the red as well! My advice---if you're considering paying a lot more for another brand, try these out first! Unless your favorite part is the logo on the front, I think you'll be much happier with 2-3 fun colors of these than just 1 pair of the other :)

Got these for my girlfriend and she really liked them. I have no taste in boots but they looked pretty nice!

Thanks to the reviews on this boot, I decided to give this brand a try. So far I like the boot. My only dislike is the feeling I have when I drive and pushing on accelerator pedal. I need to be careful to make sure my seat is moved forward because it feels like there is a lot of strain to the ankle to point and flex during driving on the ankle. As I have been walking around in them, I do not feel like my foot and lower leg are moving around in it which was my worry. It has great arch support. I am happy with my purchase. It's only been a few weeks and I have only worn them a few times. In terms of quality of the material with use overtime, we shall see. Any suggestions on how to clean the boot to keep it looking brand new?

I love these boots! I hated spending over a hundred dollars on rain boots for a pair of Hunter boots. My Kamiks are cute and very durable. They are comfortable and do not rub, but I did get a small blister after wearing them with ankle socks.

I have loved these boots now for months. The fit my foot better than larger, more clumsy boots. I have gotten many compliments on how stylist they are!

I love these boots! They fit true to size with room to tuck in skinny jeans and have on a warm pair of socks. I'm 5'4" and although I do have slightly thinner calves, I don't think the boots are too big or gap. I may even get another color!

i live in Oregon where we see our share of rainy weather. these boots are awesome for "puddle walks" with my kiddo, are super comfy and cute, and were far cheaper than the ubiquitous Hunter boots. I get lots of compliments on them and have been wearing them every day since they arrived.

I tried a lot of different style rain boots before coming across these. Stylish, comfortable and functional - these boots are great. I have a high instep and was worried that I would have trouble getting these tall boots on and off but they are easy. Now wishing for rain so I can wear them!

I love these boots! I purchased them for river canoeing in the spring and fall. They're perfect! I went a half size up (normally 6.5 but went with 7) because I knew I'd be wearing heavier socks. Perfect! I have wide feet and this calves, and these feel great without being sloppy in the calf or too tight in the toe box.

I tried on these boots and was surprised how sturdy they are, very well made. They were slightly difficult for me to take off but I was also in shorts and they struck to my leg so there's that. I haven't actually worn them out and about yet since when I ordered them we were having a crazy amount of storms and now that I have the boots its been sunshine and 91 degrees everyday (gotta love Michigan) but overall I am happy that I chose these boots over the pricier more well known brand that cost twice as much. The style is sleek and fashionable and I can't wait to get some puddles to pounce around in.

I needed tall waterproof boots for work in the field, but didn't want just any pair. I am a runner and need to wear good-quality footwear with proper support. These boots are comfortable and provide enough support for this type of shoe. Waterproof, haven't lost them in the tall mud yet, and they look cute, too!
