I have worn Avia athletic shoes since the 1980's when aerobics first started becoming popular. Everyone has a brand that seems to work best for their feet, and I always find Avia very comfortable. I have very high arches and wide feet. I like Avia because they have so many styles in wide widths. I use Superfeet green insoles for the high arch problem (otherwise I have plantar fasciitis symptoms) -- of course, these work with any shoe. As for this particular model of Avia, it provides enough comfort to satisfy me. I won't say that it is like walking on air or anything like that, but I wear them all day long without giving a thought to my feet, which says a lot because if your feet hurt, you think about that. I also wear them when I exercise which mostly consists of fast walking on the treadmill so if you're a runner, I can say how good these shoes would work for you. Of course, one of the best things about these shoes is the price - I am thinking about buying a couple more pair.

I love these shoes. They the most comfortable shoes ever. I use them for the gym and Zumba...good support yet lightweight on your feet. I had another brand that were brand new and more expensive they were so heavy on my feet and didn't fit quite right. This is my second pair of these and I will stick with this brand and style from now on.

These are a great buy and a great fit for wide feet. They are so light I can't even feel them on my feet. I usually take 6 1/2 w but with thick socks I took next size.

This is my second pair of these. They are great. They have even held up after putting them in the washing machine 4 times. Great arch support and cushion for your feet. I will buy again as long as they have my size.

This was my first purchase from Zappos. The shoes fit perfectly and matched the advertised picture and description. They arrived quickly. I had no problems.

I love these shoes! Very comfortable and just as comfortable as walking shoes I've spend twice the amount of money on. The shoe may feel a little wide for those with narrow feet. Medium width shoes are sometimes too narrow for me and I swim in wide shoes, so finding one that fits perfectly is a dream come true!

These shoes look good and are very comfortable but you get what you pay for. The shoe, which is not sturdy, is falling apart after less than 3 months of only minimal to moderate use (no heavy running or walking). The seams are pulling apart, showing how cheaply the shoe was made. I'm not buying Avia again.

Great fit. Wonderful feel on my feet. No pressure on my corns. Arrived in a timely manner. Glad I ordered. Would definitely order again. Looking at other available Avias at this writing.

These are my favorite shoes for my daily walk. They feel great. I generally love Avias and I think they are a great bargain.

I loved this shoe. It was a bit wider than most tennis shoes I've bought, but it was wonderful, because it was comfortable right off the bat. I love them and for the price, they are a steal!

Great shoe for the price. It could use some more cushion and arch support, and I almost sent them back because of it, I'm glad I didn't. I wear them to work, and my feet feel fine. The shoe runs a little wide. I have wide width feet, and they fit perfectly.

I've been wearing these athletic shoes for tennis, walking, and pretty much any hard surface sport for the last 12 years. They are great; they wear well and are comfortable. JCP decided not to carry them in the store so I went online and found them here.

First let me start by saying I have plantar fasciitis, a planter wart on my left foot, plus a bunion also on my left foot. In addition I am on my feet for 90% of the day. Saying that the first time I put these shoes on there were like stepping on a cloud. The comfort and support were great. I normally order Asics shoes but the the company stopped making the brand I normally wear. After reading the reviews from other people and Zappos return policy I did think I had anything to lose. These shoes are great, started wearing they the moment they came. I normally wear 8.5 but order a 9. So glad I did with just a little room in the toe area, with excellent arch support. Avia has a new customer for life. Highly recommend.

I am on my third pair of this particular shoe, and I will keep buying them as long as they keep making them! I typically wear wide widths, but the normal width fits me fine in these. I have never had a problem with durability with these. I am a fat woman on my feet all the time, and these hold up for me. They take a while to break in. Avia's Cantilver sole kind of sounds like a horse clopping. But the comfort is outstanding. These are absolutely the best shoes that I have ever worn. Odd info, just so you know if my review means anything to you: I absolutely hate New Balance, like Nike, and love traditional lo-cut Converse.

I wear custom orthotics and have a very hard time finding shoes that are wide enough to accommodate them. These worked great from day one. I love them! Also, love the price!

I just had foot surgery and can finally wear a regular shoe and these feel great. They are light and comfy and my orthotic fit perfectly when I took out the insole. Can't beat the price either.

These are so comfortable. I have them on now. They are great for walking, wearing to casual meetings, and for new runners. Finally a winner.

Money well spent! I read the reviews on these shoes before I bought them and people were right. You get a very nice shoe and a reasonable price. I have hammer toes and arthritis in my feet. I bought a 9 1/2 wide, which is my normal size and they fit like a glove. Very comfortable even for bad feet. These are much more comfortable then my Mizunos I paid more that double for last year. I will definitely buy them again. Thanks to Zappos for making t so easy - the shopping, the returns - everything!

I wear a size 9.5 wide and at age 55+, style is less of a factor than comfort, although I have no complaints about their appearance. My feet are sensitive and difficult to please; I must wear very smooth thin socks. These shoes are light, comfortable and you can't beat the price. I was pleasantly surprised.
