First off, these boots were very comfortable. Unfortunately the tread started separating and shortly after I had a pair of wet leaky boots. Being in construction boots need to be dry and tough. These missed the mark. Other than that I loved the boots and would have bought again. I will leave pictures of the boot bottoms for reference

I have been wearing Pittsburg keen for over 6 years I go thru 2 a year. They are great . Seems like the soles are getting thinner tho. Over all they are great I buy mens half size larger so I can wear thick socks. I recommend them highly.

Always like Keens, I have had many pairs pretty much from their beginning. Had these quite a while and the lace hook quality come into question as I have needed to replace the laces every month or two. Great boots otherwise, would buy again and hope for a bit better quality control with the lace hooks.

These boots are a replacement for the exact same boots I bought several years ago. Fit perfectly just like the first pair. I wore those on literally thousands of construction sites, hunting, and just kicking around. The old boots are not worn out by any means, but I'll wear these too until the old ones finally do wear out.

Boots are better than expected. They are of high quality material and craftsmanship along with a good fit. First time buying Keen, and Im not disappointed. Would continue to buy Keen products. Also they have a great website, easy to navigate.

I have been wearing these shoes since they came out over a decade ago. They fit my feet well and are more comfortable than any shoe I have ever worn. Even after they have worn to the point of not having any tread they are still water proof. Like I said in the title... Best shoe ever!

These are great looking boots and may work well for mist but my feet are hard to fit and these don't fit.

Good boots, I've had a few pairs over the years, but they seem to be narrower than my first pair or two. I wear 13E in most shoes. The 15E Pittsburgh has plenty of length, but for me, could use a bit more width. I'm going to try again for something wider.

Debated quite a while about whether or not to return these boots. The initial impression was that they were too narrow (bought the EE width). Wore them around the house and started to break them in a bit - the issue was the toe box felt too tight and the metal lace grommet was wearing against my toe. Eventually they stretched enough and I replaced the footbed with one that was a little thinner by the toes and that worked. They do offer excellent support around the heel and ankle which ,being a heavy guy on my feet all day, I really needed. Overall I am happy that I kept them, they seem durable and are supportive.

Larger than I expected, but perhaps I wasn't wearing right sox. I'm an 11 or 11 1/2 in most other brands. These boots are plenty warm without making my feet sweat (I work on Cape Cod in the winter). I changed out the inner-sole for a custom because I need to protect a surgically repaired knee and the included inner sole wasn't going to cut it. Super comfy for standing around in, can be a little to rigid for walking. Perhaps that will get better with time. No blisters or excessive foot soreness after wearing them for nine hours right out of the box. Would by again.

I have been wearing this same boot for years. It has been perfect for me, as I am a metal sculptor and working on concrete floors all day. I have a wide foot, which is why the size 11EE fits perfect. The boot holds up great and maintains its look and stability. I have seen other boots online that entice me to try them, but when you find a good thing, you stay with it!

Bought these boots as a replacement to some higher end hiking boots. They are my daily wear during the fall, winter, and spring. Very warm and comfortable, fairly heavy, which was to be expected from a work boot vs. a hiking boot. Heavy is good though when it comes to hiking boots since they tend to wear and brake down slower. My actual work boots are steel toe, so I am used to the heavier weight. These are very solid seeming boots.

So far these boots have been godsend. I work in a butchers shop and close the place down from time to time. standing water chemical cleaners...etc. I've only had them for 4 months, but so far these beauties have been my best pair of work boots I've bought. the tread doesn't show any separation or wear. They are really comfortable and keep my feet dry. the only downside I would say is that they are only slightly slick resistant. I recommend investing in a shoe dryer stand if you want your boots to last a long time, especially if your working in a wet environment.

This boot is very heavy duty and after a month of hard use shows no issues. They are a little clunky and took a couple of days wear and lace adjustments to break in. The lace clips are strong but the laces seem a little short when tied all the way up. Other posters say they are water proof but I have experienced wet socks when working in water soaked areas. I am not sure if it is leaking through the boot or if it is being absorbed from the top of my socks that stick out of the boot. I am also noticing that the insole is already showing wear. On the plus side they protect my feet well which I need most because I have neuropathy.

I have had these for a month now. They are very comfortable work boots. It took me three days to break them in around the house. They feel narrow at first but once you break them in they fit like a glove and have great ankle support. Keendry works I have worn Timberland, Carhart, Red Wing and these are the first boots that have kept my feet totally dry after a day's work. What keeps these from being five star boots for me is the lacing system. The locking hook does its job by keeping the laces where you want them but it takes more time to lace and unlace. Also I feel that may cause the laces to fray over time but I am still going to buy another pair after these wear out.

This is a nice boot. Good looking and comfortable. I strongly suggest now days if possible to try shoes on before you buy. Most shoes/boots now days are made outside the US and are not true US sizes. My true US size is 11 EE. My size in this boot was 12 EE. They fit just right.

A well-made, good-fitting boot. A bit tight on my bunions, and I wouldn't mind just a little more padding inside, but given the week selection for those of us with wide feet, I'm happy with them and would buy them again.

I bought a pair of these that were my size. They seemed to run a half size bigger for me. The first pair weren't that great. They were really stiff and structured. Also the toe didn't seem to look the the classic Keen toe. I exchanged for a half size smaller. The second pair were really awesome. They felt just like the Targhees I had, very cozy and little to no time before they felt right. I still had a few issues with my second pair so I ended up returning my order. Zappos has had some really awesome customer service. They have truly earned my business.

I did a lot of looking around before I bought these boots and while they are a bit expensive I decided to give them a try. I build custom cabinetry and I'm on my feet all day so durability and comfort are key. I've worn Redwings for more than 20 years with great success but recently they changed something in their construction or my feet have changed because the last couple of pairs I bought were not very comfortable. My Keens are one year old now and have been one of the best pair of boots I've owned. They are comfortable and have held up very well. I use a boot dryer to dry them out every night and have a pair of Powerstep orthotic inserts for more arch support. Haven't had sore feet since I got them, I highly recommend these boots.

Very well built but it did take me a while to break them in. It was the support around the outside of the ankles that took me about 2 weeks to break in.

Fit is good. The insoles are not as cush as I had hoped. Aftermarket insoles would help but that's another $30. The laces are either too long and can snag on things or too short to wrap around the ankle. Some less expensive boots have "grippy" hooks to keep the lower laces snug. You will have to keep tension on these the whole way up. My biggest complaint: HEAVY! Expensive hiking boots should be light. I didn't put them on a scale but they are clunky. I'm in and out of a truck about 140 times a day and things will wear you out!. Good quality construction and materials. Good for walking on rocks.
