I have worn work-boots for nearly two decades. This is the first time I have ever worn a boot that doesn't need a "break-in" period. I work maintenance in a factory so I am in all kinds of weather and situations. These boots are a god send and I feel like a salesman when the guys ask me how I like them. They are a bit on the expensive side but it is worth it for what they provide. Don't hesitate in purchasing these!

I do construction work in the mountains during the winter (around Lake City, CO). These boots are comfortable and definitely waterproof. The soles are great, even on wet and frosted wood. This is a great work boot. I have other pairs of Keens and have always worn a size 10.5 medium width. When I got these they were way too small. I called customer service and she said to go up a half size and ee width. This was just after Christmas and I needed to get back to work. She shipped the replacement boots overnight, so I could have them for work. Zappos customer service is the best! The new boots fit perfectly and I am very happy with them.

I purchased these boots because of the quality I know that Keen represents, and again, they haven't failed. These are for my husband who has worked on his feet all of his life, and with that has had issues with his feet. These boots are comfortable, and give him the support he needs in his harsh working environment (an aluminum foundry).

I own a construction company and I have tried nearly every boot available. I am on jobs all day, so lots of walking. These are, hands down, the best boots ever. My last pair of expensive boots pained one of my Achilles tendons and these Keens cured it. They are the best, period.

These boots are tough and they can take it while I stand in them for 12 hours straight without one grimace. Knowing I don't have to worry about leakage, bad support, inferior craftsmanship or a name I can't trust in boots is more comforting than the socks that I wear in them. Utility A+ (OSHA would be proud). Style, comfort and durability all A's as well. Going to take these boots all the way and make sure they live up to the task because, I will be the first to let Keen know if they don't. Grab a pair and hit it.

Best ST boot that I've found for comfort, anti-fatigue and safety right out of the box. Light enough for walking all day and supportive enough to keep ankles and arches from failing after 20 hours on the job. And they look good, too!

This is the fourth pair of Keen shoes I've owned. I am so happy they've finally made a real workboot. I am an electrician by trade, so I need something durable. So far, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. These shoes are the shiznit. The colors even match my company logo colors. I recommend Keen in general (except for a pair of Targhees I bought that fell apart). These, I really recommend.

I'm a stone mason for a living and got tired of wearing big heavy leather boots. So I decided to try these for something different. "I love these boots!" There extremely comfortable, abrasion resistant, they have amazing traction, and are no joke water proof. With my line of work these boots see the extremes concrete powder, mortar, mud, water, rock damage, everything and they take it without blinking. I plan on buying another pair just to wear casually. If you want a great pair of work boots no matter the trade don't think about it just buy a pair of these and make your feet happy!

It is a very comfortable boot. The only downfall is the design of the shoe string holding straps that makes them hard to adjust it.

Probably the most comfortable and durable boot I have ever owned (from the soles up). Great support, completely waterproof and able to take all of the abuses I can dish out 12-14 hours a day M-F. Now the bad news. The tread and anything associated with the sole of the boot seems like something you would get from some Wal-Mart under $20 shelf, and that is being generous. The rubber started to shred about month after I had them. The treads were basically erased after 6 months. Not quite sure why this is a continuing issue with Keen, but until I start reading reviews that this problem has been addressed and resolved, this will be my last pair ever.

Absolutely the best work boot I have ever owned. Light, functional, good support. I have owned Red Wing, Wolverine and other name brand steel toe shoes. This one is by far the best product I have found. I purchased them after foot surgery and the support they provide at a light weight is best of class.

Been buying keen for 10 years and I’m on my feet all day. Best fitting best feeling boots I have ever owned way better than red wing.

I have purchased five pairs of these boots over the last few years. They break in fairly fast and, are unreal comfortable, warm and, water tight. I get exactly one year out of them. Wearing them every day for nine out of twelve months.

The best work shoe I’ve owned. A little pricey upfront but they last twice as long, They are instantly comfortable and very durable. I will purchase them for a third time and more,

I'm 6' 4" @ 300lb with a size 15 W foot with a high arch, Keens are my go to shoes. After years of having to by what ever shoe I could find that fit, I am so glad I found Zappo's and Keen. These boots are stiff and they do take some breaking in, but the support is great and they are very protective of your foot and ankles. Some might find them heavy and too still, but I grew up on Mountaineering shoes from Switzerland (in the 70's) and I love the stiff feel. I have been wearing these more and more and they are still stiff and breaking in, these are not your average soft slipper feeling shoe, these are real sturdy outdoor boots.

These are a great pair of boots! I needed a pair of steel toe boots for a job and bought these because I have been pleased with Keens before and they are named after the city where I live. I was not disappointed. I wore them for a day before my job to make sure they were kind of broken in and found I didn't need too. Comfortable right out of the box. I wore them on my 3 day job for 14 hours each day and they were comfortable, had good support and they protected my feet on a rocky/dirt uneven surface on a pipeline. I highly recommend these boots!

Wow! These boots were great right out of box...no break-in time at all! I'm 6', 265lbs with very sensitive narrow feet and I can't say enough about the comfort of these boots. I wear reg socks and there's plenty of toe room. And they're very light for a steel toe boot! 10 stars for comfort! I wear them all the time now.

My picky husband loves these, fit great and feel good after a 14 day at work. Plenty of room in the toe area.

Super comfortable with minimal (almost zero!) break-in. They're fantastic for some of the very remote sites I work on that require hiking mobility from my gear. Highly recommended.

Good. Boot tough waterproof not aa comfortable as the non steel toe but still a great boot.

I waited eight months to write this so I could give an accurate review of the durability of these boots. At the start they were uncomfortable. If they rubbed my heel of my right foot. I took out the original footbeds and put in some Superfeet. The boots transformed into awesome boots after that. The boots have held up well and I have beaten the heck out of them.

Bought these for use at work which entails probably three miles a day on concrete floors, mostly indoors. I'm in my late 70s, and got these for added ankle support and ankle, foot and toe protection. It took me about 8 days to break them in and now they fit just fine. The lacing system is great and it helps with the support of the foot and ankle. The steel toe is an added attraction and it's already paid for itself -- the extra weight of which is inconsequential. I'd certainly recommend this boot to others. It replaced both a pair of Lowa and Danner boots.

Probably the best fit, comfort and looks there are is a utility "hiking" boot.

This is the fifth pair of Keen boots I've owned and the first of from the Utility series. I was interested to see if the comfort and feel of their hikers would carry over to these boots - and very happy to see that it did. I've always had problems with steel toed boots in terms of comfort and rubbing in the toe box, but the steel toes in these are not noticeable. They are a little stiff at first but seem to wear in relatively fast. All in all they are a comfortable boot based on their hiking platform - I'd highly recommend them.

I am in the logging industry, and I have to say these may be the best boots I have ever worn. These boots are very comfortable and are truly water tight. I just ordered the Dallas boot for a taller version for wet PA winter weather. Great Boot!
