These shoes are comfy for knocking around, but they gave me blisters when I wore them for a 2-mile walk.

I bought these shoes for traveling. They were extremely comfortable shoes for walking. After seven days of walking around England, my feet felt great! They were very lightweight and dried quickly when wet. They were easy to slip on and off during airport security checks as well. I did get slight rubbing on both feet by the outside metal loop for the laces up near the toes. Also, the price was a little high for what are pretty much glorified ballet flats.

I think these shoes are super cute! My only issue with them is the little velcro straps. Mine are just a tiny bit too long for me...they barely hit the velcro. Otherwise, I think they are great!

So far, I really like the look. The toe box is comfortable, and with some determination, I can spread my toes. Not a true minimalist shoe, though, as the heel is slightly built up. I didn't like the insole that came with it. It was comfortable at the forefoot, but there was a special bump of padding under the heel that was annoying and felt like it could worsen plantar fasciitis. Fortunately, it's attached by velcro, so I could remove it, which flattened out the shoe, made it more minimalist, and improved the heel comfort for me. It seems durability is also an issue, but it's too soon for me to comment on this. By the way, glad there is no real arch support here. I was looking for a shoe like this.

Initially these shoes were amazingly comfortable. However, after walking a little over a mile, they left me with odd blisters around the base of my heel. The insole has stitching around the edge, which I believe caused the problem. Perhaps with a different insole, they will work well. Also, to keep them securely in place, the straps segment the top of my foot (which isn't particularly plump, but definitely not slender), creating several flesh humps between the straps -- not the most flattering. They're lightweight and breathable, and connect you to the terrain; you can definitely feel the ground beneath the sole. I still have high hopes I can make them work.

Cute shoe and comfortable sole but there is no support around toe area, it's very stretchy. Also the little metal rings that hold the straps dig into the side of foot.

Comfortable, but I agree with the previous reviews on the following. 1) They run large and wide in the toe box. 2) They are comfortable but fall apart easily. I wore them once, and the insole on both shoes came loose. For the price I am not about to start trying to superglue the insole back in. This represents shoddy workmanship, and i am sending them back. Others had noted that the shoe fell apart in rapid fashion. I am not waiting for that.

These are meant to be barefoot shoes, and I wanted to try the genre. They are not really for me, I prefer more arch support. Yet there is a sense of hugging the ground with these shoes.

These were very cute and would have been very comfortable but they ran too wide for me. (They also ran long, but that is OK with me, my feet run long too). When I had the straps tightened enough to keep the shoes on securely, the ends were very long and I was concerned that they would not be practical in actual use in a kayak. I have normal-width feet, I don't usually have problems with shoes being too wide.

I love these shoes because of the minimalist quality and because they are really really cute. They do not have any support. They get stinky if you wear them without socks (which is the best way to wear them). I soak them in baking soda and water for that but the insole is not doing well from all the walking I do at work and the washing. I am going to buy a new, better supported insole for the shoe. The shoes are pretty well made, but they are pretty expensive for what the you actually are getting. Bring your prices down Jambu! Give us all a break and stop raping us with your silly prices.

I wanted a lightweight sneaker/shoe that I could easily slip on to walk the dog in the morning during the hot summer months. Overall the shoe is okay, I thought from the picture that it was thicker and gave more support since I take the dog on some dirt paths. The support is quite thin, feels more like a shoe you would wear on the beach. I would recommend this shoe for wearing while kayaking, not any kind of long distance walking.

The shoe is adorable and the fit is good due to the strap system. However, this the second pair of Jambus I've tried and because there is absolutely no support, my legs and knees ached after wearing them for a short time. Hated to return. They may wear great for others.

These shoes are super comfortable and very cute, but my big toe rubs the fabric when I walk. I don't think these would last a week of walking without the fabric ripping. So, unfortunately I will return these.

I bought these for yoga at home. The carpet proved too slippery. The insert was only attached at the heel, letting my foot slide sideways in some of the asanas (poses). So I tried to glue the front part down. Now there is a bump under the ball of my foot. It is annoying. The soles also are more 'nubby' than I thought. A bit too much for indoor yoga. The straps are more comfortable than I thought they would be.

I loved these shoes at first despite that their straps are too long and that the shoe is sized to large (had to size down an entire size). But, and a major part, after not much wear, the shoes are unraveling. The fabric that is used to make up the majority of the shoe is too fragile and is literally unraveling. Yeah, maybe they got snagged on something while I had them on, but on both feet in the same area? I do not think so. I sure wish I would not have spent this much on this shoe and will not buy this brand again as a result.

It's a real shame that these shoes didn't work out for me, because they are so cute and very comfortable. However, I didn't even have them for three months and the soles wore through. Granted, I do live in the city and walk a lot on concrete, but three months? Come on. Too bad, because I loved these shoes! Thankfully, Zappos took them back and gave me a full refund. Thank you, Zappos!

Very cute shoes that are very uncomfortable. Sent them back immediately without a second thought. The criss-cross straps seems to run way too far up my foot -- so much so that it felt like it was impeding (if not cutting off) the circulation to my feet! I don't have a wide foot and yet it was challenging (to say the least) to get the criss-cross straps to reach the hook & loop Velcro. Definitely not an easy off and on shoe.

Barefoot shoe means no arch support as in going barefoot. Very comfortable out of the box. Overall, very happy with the fit.

These shoes are so cute! I bought them for aquatic toning class but don't want to get them wet! But if I did I would remove the inserts first since they slip around like other reviewers stated. And tell me how I ordered these on Saturday and they were delivered Monday. Zappos loves shopaholics!

These shoes are awesome. I did not want to take them off when I first tried them on. They are so comfortable, I ordered them in another color. These are a minimal shoe, so there is not much support, if that is what you are looking for. However, despite the name, I would not call this a 'barefoot' shoe - there is an insert with a little memory foam padding. This is perfect for me. I love how flexible they are. I have been wearing them to go on walks, short hikes, and to the park with my kids and my feet have never hurt.
