I put these shoes through the ultimate test. I wore them on a missions trip into the Amazon in Brazil. I wore them constantly for four days. On the fourth day I had a bit of rubbing on my pinkie toes so I wore a different pair for a day and went back to these for the rest of the trip. In the summer I am prone to blisters (especially with new shoes) and aching feet but I had none of this with these shoes. My feet are wide and the straps were a perfect fit. Definitely buy half a size bigger than usual. I unfortunately have one foot that is size 7 and one that is 7½. I ordered a 7½ and an 8. I stuck with the 7½ because the 8 was too big for my size 7 foot. The 7½ foot fit into the 7½ shoe pretty well when the straps were adjusted. I love that they worked perfectly for my trip and can now be used for both outdoor fun home or as a nicer black sandal. I did run them through the washer when I came home and they are almost like new. I did put them through a lot though.

I love these shoes, especially the taupe color - it goes with everything. I usually wear 7½ or 8, and definitely needed an 8 in these. The soles are amazing. They feel like you are walking on air.

These are very attractive shoes. I found them to be comfortable for shorter walks, but chafing on longer walks. I purchased them for whitewater canoeing, but because the velcro is so narrow, I'm not sure they'd stay on in the event of a spill. For other purposes, these shoes are great.

Love these shoes! I wore them on a two day river rafting trip. They were incredibly comfortable. I almost always get blisters and I didn't get any. Plus, when I involuntarily swam a level IV rapid, they stayed on!

So far, love them. I like the open design with the toe protection. Looks of zebra mussels and rocks up here in Michigan lakes. Like the color combo and the straps. I debated ordering the 8.5 or the 9, but the 8.5 fits great - for me true to size. My right foot is a touch longer than left, but two of the straps can be attached so slightly looser. Footbed way more comfy than my Chaco sandals i was looking to replace.

These shoes are fantastic - practical and much more stylish than other clunky water shoes. I've used them hiking, walking and out in town while on camping and boat trips. Plus, they are vegan and have recycled soles, yes to Jambu!

So comfy...these shoes are great for walking around the city all day, walking the dog, etc. They are cute too. Just know they are cut pretty low over the toes, so you do see the spaces between your toes a good amount. Weird to get used to, but overall fine. Also the straps are pretty long at the ends. These are both minor things. Overall, I'd get them, and am looking forward to trying them out on many adventures.

I love this shoe because of its versatility.
I ordered a half size larger based on customer reviews. One shoe fits great, the other feels a bit big and one of the hoops rubs in one spot as a result. Not sure if I should have gotten the smaller size or if its just my feet.
But, the shoe is very nice looking. I get lots of compliments and appreciate the more feminine look this shoe has, especially because I wear an average shoe size, but I am petite.

Based on other reviews, I ordered the shoe in my regular size, but ended up needing 1/2 size bigger. It's totally comfortable and cute. The straps are great and very adjustable. I wear the sandals on a boat and can tighten the straps, so they're secure. Also, I find the footbed comfy unlike the Chacos I've been wearing for years that get very hot and sweaty in hot summer weather.

Very comfortable shoe. I have received lots of comments on them. Very sturdy. Well worth the money. True that they are about half size smaller than marked. Went up a size after reading the reviews and shoe fit.

Love these shoes. I have a very flat foot and have had toe surgery so finding sandals that fit in the instep and don't crowd my toes is not easy. I wore these, brand new and walked all over Manhattan without a single blister or sore spot! And I get lots of compliments on how cute they are too. They seem to run a little short. I usually wear a 9, but needed a 9.5 in this style. The soles are very cushiony but because they are really water shoes there is not a absorptive liner and my toes sweat, but not too bad. I would definitely buy these again. I like them that much.

I chose this shoe for a combination touring and sailing trip in a warm climate. I found them very comfortable for walking and did not experience problems with the Velcro fasteners or with the small hooks the straps go through. They were terrific on the sailboat and stayed securely on my feet and protected my toes. I found them a tad more ladylike and fashionable than my Keen water shoes, which I also like. They are a little less comfortable for walking when wet, since your feet slide around a bit. Although the soles are thick and cushy, they can be a bit warm on the bottoms of the feet on a hot day. Overall, quite wonderful and very cute.

Love these shoes. I have a very narrow foot and the ability to adjust the straps works well. I did have to have the straps shortened and the Velcro moved farther in the straps but it was very worth it.

I bought these shoes to wear on a 3 week journey on land and sea through the Mediterranean. I love them! Comfortable beyond words and stylish, too! I was concerned that the straps might cause blisters; however, they adjust easily. I climbed numerous steps, walked on many uneven streets, and was on my feet as long as 4 hours at a time. Not only did the shoes and I survive, my feet felt wonderful!

Best sandals I've had in a long time--comfortable right from the first day! They do run small, so order 1/2 size larger.

Finally! I've found the perfect match -- sandals and sneakers in one shoe. Pricey it is, but takes the place of my sneakers this summer. My feet are cool, and very comfy. I've tried mesh sneakers in Brooks, Asics, and Mizunos, and Keen Whisper slides -- these are more comfy (in my opinion). They are flexible, good arch support, plenty of cushioning and I can barely feel the thin straps on top of my feet and around ankle. The straps are long, but I like wearing these loose. I exercise in them, up and down stairs with no problem slipping off. My toes or the top of my toe nails don't rub (as some said they do in Keens). Bonus, they're super cute, yet rugged, easy to wash, and light weight. I'm in awe. I am very frugal in my spending habits, and these are worth every penny. Great construction-looks like they'll be durable for years. I've heard Jambu stands behind their products and that's a plus. May you all find your perfect fit. Amazing how happy one can feel when our feet are comfy. (Normally wear 9, got the 9.5-plenty of room, probably could wear a 9, but I like the extra room for hot summer months).

These little shoes are great on a trail, as your toes are protected, you can go through water with great traction and support. These shoes also work for the urban trail, cute, comfy and stylish. And recycled content!

Bought these for a trip to the USVI. I've worn them around the house and they seem very comfortable. I am usually a 7 1/2 or 8 and the 8's fit perfect. The ring on the inner part of my arch does rub a bit, but it is tolerable right now.

These shoes were a huge disappointment, here is why: I loved these shoes for the one summer that I wore them. I was more than impressed by the durability, as I wore these hiking in difficult terrain. The bottom of the shoe is made well and can handle rocky hikes and 10+ miles of hiking or walking. I like that the straps are easily adjusted, and I also wore the shoes with dresses. They are very cute! However, the velcro has already worn to the point where I can no longer wear the shoes. It would cost me $30 to replace the velcro, and I anticipate that such a replacement would be a yearly cost of maintenance for these shoes. I'm very sad and really hope that Jambu will make similar shoes but with a buckle of some sort that does not have velcro.

I am surprised how many positive reviews this show has. I found it extremely uncomfortable on the inner side close to the arch. It has a metallic ring (visible in the picture right before the movie) that rubs against my arch to the point that I cannot wear them even at home. I'll go back to my Chacos!

It looked so cute on the webpage, but there was little arch support, it only covered the tips of my toes and looked odd, and when I tightened the straps, the ends dangled on the floor (are my feet too flat?).

I am one of the lone dissenters on these shoes, but I was less than thrilled for several reasons. Please read on, I try to assess why I don't like them against why so many others do, perhaps it will help you too! They run true to size (order your normal street shoe size). The first pair I ordered a half size larger because of reviewers comments, they were huge! They were so large that nearly reordered a half size smaller than my normal size. In the end I reordered my size and they were fine. I tried them on several times and wore them on the carpet prior to taking them on a two-week vacation. I did not encounter any issues, but didn't really do much in them than walk to my kitchen for more coffee and sit at my desk. I packed them for vacation, and the first time I put them on one of the straps started to come apart at the seam. Not a structural problem, but a cosmetic one. We were going zip-lining which required closed toe shoes, so I wore them anyway since I did not want to wear my running shoes for non-exercise. They functioned fine, my feet did seem a little warm, but I was in a hot climate, so I guess its to be expected. The real issue came to light when I returned to the room and took them off. My toes and toenails were blackened from the rubber inside the shoes and it would not come off! It took several showers to fade. Needless to say they were worn once and returned. As for comfort, I have high arches and found them no more supportive than flip flops. In fact, I have flip flops that have arches that are more supportive. I purchased them because I had read glowing reviews of customers sight-seeing on vacations for weeks and waxing poetic about these shoes. I guess maybe they are the type of customer who wears flats all the time and these are an improvement because they did nothing for me. I never wear flats unless they have good arch support and these don't qualify in that department. In summary, if you frequently wear flat-as-a-pancake flats then you may love these (ignoring the blackening issue), if you strive to wear supportive and stabilizing shoes these probably are not for you.
