I love Minnetonka and have several pairs of their Kilty moc. I decided to try the Thunderbird II for a change. When I got them, I absolutely loved them. The beaded detail is really nice. However, this shoe is cut lower than the Kilty. I got an 8, which is what all my Kilty mocs are, but the 8 was too loose in the Thunderbird. I'm normally an 8 and 1/2 in other shoes, but I would have to size down to a 7 and 1/2 for these.

As other reviewers have commented, the sizing on these is way off. I wear a 9.5 and ended up with a size 8 in these moccasins. I'd advise buyers to order a few sizes and send back the ones that don't fit. Sizing issues aside, these are just okay. For the most part, they were comfortable, but there's a spot where the back of the moccasin painfully rubs my heel. I feel like I will be able to fix this with moleskin, but it's annoying. However, I like the style and feel the price is fair, so I'm going to keep these. Hopefully, these will break in.

I really like this shoe! It is soft and slipper like. Sometimes they make tired feet feel good. Although, they are soft sided and after wearing all day for two or three in a row, they can make your feet a little tired. They are nicely padded, but no real arch support. I did have to tighten the ties as much as I could because it is a little loose for narrower feet. All in all, I love them! and recommend them.

I really like these Minnetonka shoes. They are pretty comfortable and the grey looks good with everything.

I bought these in a half size smaller than my normal size based on the reviews I read. I'm glad that I did and probably could have gone down another half size. I have wide feet and they run a little narrow. The grey color is great and goes well with my jeans.

This run a whole size big. I wear an 11 and I swear the ones I have are at least a 12. Imagine my surprise that the shoe could be bigger than my feet!

So retro and so comfortable. Run full but I took my size. The laces come undone a lot.

Comfortable, cute, casual shoe. I felt it ran true to size, I normally wear 10 and the 9.5 was too small. I wasn't quite sure how I felt about the style of this shoe, so I returned them. Maybe if I had ordered the correct size I would have felt differently, maybe not. They are cute, but I just wasn't sure they were for me.

This shoe is very cute and the suede is quite soft. They definitely run a bit large, both in length and width. I am usually an 8½, but I need to return and get the 8.

I love them with flared jeans! I thought people wouldn't like them but as soon as I wore them to school I got a ton of complements! They are so comfy (especially worn with socks). I would totally recommend them!

I absolutely love these shoes! They're so comfortable, yet have a sturdy sole (so that they're less like slippers). The beaded design also adds a nice touch!

I love these and plan on keeping mine but my right shoe feels slightly looser than my left. I am wearing socks with this so its not a big deal. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Very cute!

Super cute, but absolutely no arch support-which is expected from mocs. I put supports in and that made them much better. Really nice if you're just running to the store or getting gas and for sitting in class.

I hadn't read the reviews saying that you needed to order a half or full size smaller. I ordered my regular size, 9 1/2, and found the left shoe fit fine but the right shoe must have been mismarked at the factory because it was a helf or full size too small. When I measured them against each other, it was obvious that the right shoe was smaller by about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. A mistake that happens with any product occasionally. Zappos handled the exchange beautifully. I will order from them again.

I love the look of these shoes and they are so soft; however, they did not fit my feet at all. They definitely run about 1/2 size too big and even though they look narrow they would bow out really bad on the sides whenever I would take a step. I ended up returning them, so disappointed because they are so cute! I will be buying another pair of Minnetonkas, just not this one.

These are okay shoes. Love the look, but they are a little clumsy and don't have a solid fit or arch support. Just a kick around sandal unless you put in insert soles.

These are horrible. I am so disappointed. After reading all of the stellar reviews, I expected these moccasins to last longer than one wearing. The second day they were worn, they completely ripped along the upper, top seam. And when I say second day of wearing them, day one consisted of walking around the house. Day two was walking around the classroom. These shoes never hit the outdoors for a moment, either as boots were worn to and from school. The shoes fit fine (although I ordered one size larger than I normally wear) and were comfortable. I am contacting Zappos today to return, but that does not mitigate the extremely poor craftsmanship. I bought these for my daughter to wear with a Native American outfit that she was to wear to school as part of her third grade class on the subject matter. So I was so upset that her shoes ripped within the first hour of wearing them on the second day. Torn shoes just ruined the presentation experience for her, I am sorry to say, And it is not as though these are cheap shoes either! I will contact Zappos today to return them. As they were a Christmas present, but not previously worn, I hope that there is no issue with returning them. I hope that the replacements hold up longer than the first pair.

Left shoe much smaller than right. Right shoe flopped to the right in front. Like the look but too poorly made.

I have purchased many pairs of Minnetonka, since my first pair in the 1990's and LOVED every pair. The shoes look smart. They fit snuggly, yet comfortable. The soles are not slippery on smooth or wet surfaces allowing safer walking than normal smooth-flat soles.

These are my umpteenth pair of Minnetonka moccasins. I wanted a new pair of Thunderbirds. The color is great for the summer. Now about the fit: Minnetonka need to be adjusted. I think they are all the same width. You need to use the laces to adjust the shoes to your feet. Also, I am more comfortable with some foam inserts. These Minnetonka Thunderbirds are great! They're new, and I hear they'll stretch, but as of today I have no desire to take these off, they're super cute and comfy. I love them.

The fit and size ran very large. I wear size 8 and ordered 7 1/2 which was still too big. Highly suggest ordering 1 full size down.

Minnetonka’s are always one of my go to brands for shoes and boots. They never disappoint. These are no different! However I had a hard time finding my size in these for some reason, they seemed to run very large compared to my other shoes.

It depends on what you want these for. I don’t wear them to go walking or anything like that, but they are perfect to wear around the house and they are comfy and cute. They seemed a bit tight when I got them, but they quickly stretch out and conform to your feet. I will probably get other colors.

I usually wear either a 7.5 or 8 regular. These shoes are really pretty (I ordered them in black) but I couldn't even begin to get my foot in. I double checked the shoes to make sure I was sent the correct size, so all I can say is that these run very small. It's a pity because I really liked them and now the larger sizes are no longer in stock. Oh well, my search continues!
