I purchased these and subsequently returned them simply because they were incredibly narrow and the top of the chukka hit my ankle just perfectly enough to be annoying. These look fantastic, there is no denying that. But unfortunately, they just fit all wrong for me. I ended up going with the Red Wing Heritage Beckman boot and they have been perfect in the exact same size that I ordered the chukka in. As others have said, order a full size down.

These felt very narrow and stiff. I wore them indoors at work for 2.5 weeks, but they did not break in much at all. The top bone of my foot is a little high and occasionally I have issues w/ shoes because of it. This was the case here - the shoes were narrower than other brands the same size and were too tight at the top of my foot. If they were cheaper, I may have tried breaking them in longer, but for this price I didn't want to risk damaging them and not being able to return them. There are many other brands out there making shoes just as stylish for much less money. I liked the idea of American made (I have another pair of Red Wings), but these were just way too much for not fitting properly.
