I love the colors of Butter. The polish doesn't stay on very long on my nails, but neither do other brands since I have greasy nails.
The good thing about it is that it comes off like magic with any polish remover. Even with the darker tones, there are no leftovers on the nails. That makes it easy for me to change it often. It takes a medium time to dry.

Overall I really love Butter London polishes; some have wonky, goopy formulas, but all the colors are so rich it's worth it! They're not chippy, so I believe they're worth the price!

This is a super color in the bottle, but turns a bit peachy when on your nails. Not the look I was desiring. Goes on easily, dries quickly, so that is good. Not a bad product but fairly expensive for nail polish especially as the color isn't quite what it seems.

I love this color. It's a pretty smokey purple color. I also love the butter polish because it goes on so smoothly and you don't need a million coats.

his is my favorite Butter London polish. The formula is pretty thin which makes it super easy to apply. This one is quite sheer so I like to do four coats to build up the color. The glitter has a very slight bumpy texture that adds some dimension to the polish. This holographic polish looks great inside but it looks even more amazing in bright sun. I highly recommend this color!

This is the best nail polish I have ever used (better than Essie, OPI, Nicole, Revlon colorstay, etc). It's smooth, the brush size is perfect, doesn't chip when used with a top coat. I'll stick to this brand from now on!

I've tried many nail polishes - from Sally Hanson to Chanel - and I have to say this is definitely the best! It goes on smoothly and doesn't bubble - and the best part is that it dries really quickly and stays shiny! Definitely recommend this - will be ordering more colors!

Butter London is my new favorite nail polish. With the BL base and topcoat is does last much longer than my OPI polish before it starts chipping. Even then, I'll only have a little bit of chipping on my dominant index finger after almost a week. The colors are super fun, too! I love Shag for the holidays, it's a very true copper color.

Butter London is by far my favorite nail polish brand. The consistency, the longevity, the color, the packaging, the application, EVERYTHING. Absolutely everything about it makes my mouth water it's so amazing. I have lots of nail polishes from Essie and OPI that are okay that I used to use, but once I started using Butter London I'll seriously never go back. These just apply so nicely and aren't messy at all and last forever in comparison. I'm in love with this brand. I currently own Toff (my favorite at the moment), Trout Pout, and Pillar Box Red, but I'm lusting after many other colors that I'll eventually purchase as well. Every time I apply it, I envision myself walking down the streets of London during Fashion Week. It radiates British style and class in my eyes and makes me feel so happy. If you haven't tried this polish yet, seriously give it a go.

I took this to my manicurist in case they did not have a dark color that I liked. Her and all of the others fell in love with the color. It is called Chimney Sweep and has a dark grey/navy base I love that there is no purple. It goes on smoothly and dries quickly, she said she has customers bring Butter in often.

When I saw the new fall line from Butter London I knew that I just had to have them. There was one that stood out to me and it was the color, Trustafarian. It so pretty and not a color that I would usually go too, so I have stepped out of my comfort zone. I'm so glad that I have and I love it. If you're looking for a light green with a little sparkle, this is your color.

I got this nail polish in 'Disco Biscuit' and it's absolutely stunning! It's a little sheer, so I layer it over Essie's 'Tour de Finance'. The blue sparkle in it is subtle yet still noticeable. Didn't chip and lasted a long time on my nails.

I own Butter London's 'Chancer' and 'Union Jack Black' and I love them both tremendously. I strongly recommend a good topcoat to use with these, though. Chancer, when dry on the nail, is matte and rough. The glitter sparkles but is very subtle. I found the texture a bit too rough for my liking, slathered topcoat on, and found the results smoother and more sparkly. I had to file the edge of my nail very gently to get some of the rough glitter smoothed down. Union Jack Black is a great deep black, but is alarmingly sheer on the first coat. Second coat took all my concerns away. They're both great colors, but sometimes the formula makes me raise an eyebrow. I guess that's what comes with being 3 free!

I love the butterLondon polishes. They go on well and wear well. The colors are rich, beautiful and on trend. I have many of the colors including some of the glitters and metallics. The metallics are sometimes streaky but overall a great polish!

Love this nail polish! This is the first toxin free nail polish I've found where the colors are actually pretty. I am picky about my colors. Trout Pout is lovely, and The Full Monty is just awesome. I'm not as wild about All Hail the Queen - it's a taupe color & it just wasn't my thing - a little dull for me.

This color is beautiful! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it does tend to chip easily. I have to wash my hands frequently because of work and I notice that the polish erodes a bit too quickly. On the positive side, it is formaldehyde free so that makes it much safer for my kids!

Pink Ribbon is VERY sheer, almost clear, FYI. I love Butter nail polish, just wish it were an opaque color.

I know, I know, this is a lot to spend on nail polish, but if you want to pamper yourself manicure-style then this is the splurge for you. I was keenly interested in a turquoise color polish but kept finding teal was the color of the moment until I took a chance on Artful Dodger. The color is perfect and two applied coats lasted a week. I used this shade with Butter London's Matte Finish top coat too for a southwestern desert look.

I wouldn't try this polish before because of the cost, but I received three bottles Free in a VIP-Zappos Giveaway. The colors aren't what I'd choose, but the quality is unbelievable! The brush is designed well, so the polish goes on easily, practically in one swipe per coat, with either hand. I think the quality of the polish itself is better than most, being not too thin or thick. You only need a couple coats. This may sound dumb - but the dual cap works for me. I leave the cover on when doing my dominant hand, and vice versa. It seems like the extra cap keeps the polish covered air-tight which probably helps stop it from getting thick. I tried each of the three sent to me, one glitter (which I never wear), one metallic and a creme. Butter has a great color selection also. I ended up purchasing "Royal Navy" and the "Topcoat Duo: Hardener and Matte Finish". Every one of these goes on the same way: like butter! And it's easy to remove without leaving my hands/fingertips stained. Using the topcoat, it stays on well - my nails still look "freshly" done two days later, surprisingly, with no chipping. I know I'll get other colors after I give away all the polishes I own - a ridiculous amount (I wish now, that I tried this brand before buying all these lesser priced, poorer quality polishes). I can see why it costs more than the average polish; it's well worth this price - that's not to say that I like the cost. That's the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

I got the one in tart with a heart as a gift and I do not find it to be very long lasting. It chipped within a day on me, normally I can go about 2 days sometimes three before a big chip with other brands but for this price it should wear a little better. I didn't find the color to be anything special either.

I had never tried BL before, and saw and tried the color Toff in the department store. I was instantly obsessed and very happy to find it available through Zappos. I then ordered it with Yummy Mummy because of the description as a great neutral that looks good on everyone. Results: Toff on the toes has stayed looking good at least a week. Yummy Mummy, 2 coats on the hands lasted about a day before it lead completely worn off the ends. Gorgeous color, but I just didn't get much wear on the fingers like I do OPI. Couple of other things. 1. the picture of Toff on the site looks nothing like the actual color which is a beautiful brownish mauve. 2. I believe, for those of you wondering why it takes a while to receive it, nail polish is classified as hazardous and must ship ground. 3. I too was very irritated that Zappos stuck that huge label on the product. Took me a while with goo-gone to get it off!
