Best pair of boots I ever bought. Well worth the money & they keep your feet warm as well.

Not a lot of good rain boot options for regular guys. I'm not in construction, so I'd feel like an idiot wearing heavy duty rain boots to class. There are some nice leather boot options out there, but it's hard to pull those off as a guy without looking like a tool bag. These tretorn boots have been surprisingly great. They are not knee high, which is great cause I'm not crossing the Amazon. They are fairly light weight and quite comfortable. I can't speak to their durability as I've only had them a month or so and have only worn them a few times. I usually don't wear them with jeans because my jeans are slim-fit and I have larger feet which would make these boots look a little out of proportion to my body. So I tend to couple them with one of my traditional fit chinos.

As commented by others, these run about half to a full size larger than the US measurements. It's most notable in the collar, especially if you're not wearing thick winter socks. I'm a firm US size 10, but I had to re-order a size 9 (which was tighter but still comfortable). These boots still manage to breathe a bit, as I was able to wear them comfortably in mild northern California weather. I'm a huge fan of the Vans Classic Slip-on. I was loathe to wear boots while visiting Sweden on business, but seeing these I was pumped to keep my day-to-day styling! These certainly fit the bill.

Got these for my husband. He loves them. A stylish rain boot that doesn't look like your typical clunky rain boot almost resembles a sneaker. Ran small had to order a size up.

I got a pair of these for as a present and I love them. They look really good and are super comfortable. I wear them out at least twice a day. They are the type of shoe you can throw on right before you leave the house.

One of my favorite pairs for shoes for the damp fall / winter weather here in the Pacific Northwest. I often have to remind myself that I should only wear the shoes when it's wet out. They're do an incredible job keeping feet from the outside. But wear them on a milder dry day and your feet will start to sweat. The sneaker style stands out. I'll probably pickup another pair in something more subtle -- like black. Comfort is what I would expect for a pair of rubber boots. You're not going to go on a walking tour in these.

These are great. Rain boots without looking like a goof. Put together pretty solidly, and easy to put on/take off.

Great purchase! Size fits true... maybe a smidgen big. So comfortable. Got them for the Seattle rain and now I wear them for all occasions.

They run a little big, I wear size 12 Nikes but size 11 Tretorns. I am really happy with them but do not expect to wear them for 12 hours without your feet hurting, the soles are thin, if you are on your feet all day I do not recommend wearing these for more than six hours.

I bicycle near-year-round in New York City and Boston. I have been looking for years (unsuccessfully until now) for a pair of rain shoes that were either light enough to be packable with my other foul weather gear or comfortable enough to wear around the bulk of a rainy day. These shoes are the latter to a T. Non-slip soles, flexible rubber outers, and an uninsulated interior make them sturdy enough for wintry mix (as we had in Boston last Wednesday) or versatile enough for spring showers (I fully expect). Tretorn has several models of the Strala, and some of them seem Arctic-worthy. These are lined but not with insulation, layerable but still warm. Further, the trim design keeps them perfectly out of the way of my bike's chain and pedals, rendering moot the concern that kept me from Gore-Tex overshoes, for instance. Two thumbs up, finally. One caution, the sizing is in European, and their conversions are a matter of interpretation, it seems. I wear 10½ EE in American shoes, and so exchanged up to what Tretorn converts to an 11 (size 44). The first pair, a 43, was too narrow for me. Still, I just hope they are still making this shoe when I eventually wear completely through the pair I wear now. I will get another.

I bought the Str la Vinter and I ordered them true to my shoe size, which is 9. They felt half a size smaller, the 10 half a size bigger. Oh, well, it's my feet. Problem was with quality. After a couple of months the upper part broke away by its seam from the lower rubber and it's not waterproof anymore.... I was willing to try to fix it but I noticed the other shoe had cracks in the upper part so that won't last long either. I'm kind of disappointed, I really liked them. Trying another brand.

My husband really liked these - he was looking for rain boots for when he walks the dogs. His only complaint, besides them being too big, was that they are low. His concern is that they would not keep his feet as dry as a boot in the rain. He usually wears a 9.5-10 and the 10 was way to big, we are ordering a taler boot by the same brand and hoping the 9 fits. Plus side, they look like sneakers!

Just fine! Like a low-profile rainboot. Not super warm or insulated, but with double socks this is fine in the snow. Decent traction, but most importantly DRY. Only been a month or so, so I can't speak to durability over time.

These were bought for a Chicago winter in a size 10.5. Though it is a relatively flat shoe they were exactly what was needed for walking through the snow and on ice. My only complaint was that for a heavy snowfall, they were too short.

I was hoping that these would break in and be a "slip on" shoe, but they're not. I have to use two hands to get the boots on my feet. Once they're on, they're pretty nice, although since I'm not walking in ankle-deep water, I would prefer a low cut, slip-on rain shoe. By the way, I usually wear a 10-10.5, and I bought these in size 10, and they fit me fine once I get them on.

I usually wear a size 10.5 wide, and this shoe ended up fitting me best in a size 10. They're a little hard to get on and off. They're pretty comfortable, but offer almost no arch support.

Decent comfort but not much arch support. They keep the water out at least for a while. After about 6 months of only wearing them in the rain, probably about 10-12 times, the rubber started to crack. They are no longer water proof but still do alright in a light shower. I would look elsewhere for more durable boots.

really wanted these shoes. Unfortunately, they were so difficult to get on that I ended up returning them. They look great (5 stars), but just getting them on my foot was such a chore that I had to say no way. I couldn't imagine struggling like that each time I had to walk the dog (my primary reason for wanting them). Maybe the lace up version will be better. Sorry guys.

They aren't as attractive up close as they are in the photo but still certainly the some of the best looking rain shoes. The fit was nice and i was mostly happy with them, but with the first month or two of wearing them they developed cracks at the knuckles making them useless.

Great shoe but has zero traction on ice. If you are using this shoe just for rain and sloshing through puddles, then they are great. But any slippery surface you slide all over the place, I just wish they had non slip bottoms.

I bought these boots roughly six weeks ago and have been surprised to find that the upper portions are already cracked through in the upper portion of both boots. Granted it has been a tough winter already and I have been wearing them a lot, but I did not think I was subjecting them to wear and tear that would result in this. More snow is on the way and these boots will not make it that long. At this stage, I would say these looked like a nice idea, but their performance did not justify their price.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and bought these as my commuter shoes. They didn't last one whole season. They cracked both where the toe bends and at the heel leaving my feet very wet. They were very comfortable and nice while they lasted though.

These seemed as they would be a good rain boot for me, however there is no insulation and within a very short period of time (a couple of weeks) both boots had holes. I would not recommend to anyone.
