I love Dansko clogs and have two pair of closed back in size 37 that I can wear with or without a thin sock. I wanted to try a pair of open backs, but these were so incredibly narrow, I could not even get my foot into them. They must make the open backs much differently. I did not need extra length, so I could not order a larger size. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

I love these clogs! I wear a lot of Danskos, and these are great for this year's cold spring. The red is just right and a little pop of color. I did have to stretch one shoe to make it comfortable over my very high instep, which is why I only gave it 4 stars for comfort. Wish it came in a true navy, then I'd buy another pair!

Ordered a few clogs and these won out over all of them. I tried them on and kept them on. Most beautiful color of red. A sexy clog if you can believe that. One little issue. The leather is kinda thicker and stiffer than might be necessary. I am sure it will give eventually, but during the first wearing, my feet gave in first. After about a half hour, i got blisters on the top of my foot on the inside right where the leather ends in a scallop design. Only in one exact same spot on each foot. So have Band Aids or socklets on the first few wearings. Or leather conditioner, but maybe that would ruin the red color? The toe width was a tad narrower than other clogs. Nothing blistering, just red, but i wear flip flops a lot, so my feet might be wider from that.

I love my Dansko Skylar clogs. I wear them all the time. They are very comfortable. I usually have a hard time finding shoes that are comfortable and don't hurt my feet.

These are great shoes. They fit perfectly, and were comfortable from the start. I want a pair in every color!

I couldn't believe it when I saw these clogs. The style is awesome! Everyone who sees them on me, wants to know where I got them! My sister lives in Florida and says that clog season is short there, but she still wants them. I wore them for an entire day the first time and they were completely comfortable. Love these clogs!

Another hit for Dansko! Along with the usual reliable comfort, these shoes are great for spring. The cut-outs provide the feel of a warm season shoe. I found no problem with the leather rubbing anywhere and I wore them sockless right out of the box for 6 hours of walking!

Just received my red Skylar clogs - they are so cute! I normally wear Dansko closed back closed in size 41 (like the extra roominess), but for the clogs I sized down. They fit absolutely perfectly, no problem at all with the arch or the leather being too high over my instep (as some reviewers mentioned). Perfect shade of red, very nice. Like all Dansko shoes, these will last forever!

Love 'em! I've searched for months for the perfect (read cute, comfy with a little height) denim blue clog to wear with jeans and I'm happy to report I've finally found it in the Dansko Skylar! The support is excellent, fit is super comfortable, no breaking in is required and the color is great. It does fit high over the instep as mentioned in another review but it's comfortable and keeps the clog from flapping with each step, a feature that I appreciate. Thanks Dansko and thanks Zappos!

I have dozens of pairs of Dansko shoes...these are among my favorite! Super cute way to transition from winter boots to summer sandals. Great with skirts, jeans or crops. Love them!

They are cute and comfy. I bought them to wear with boot cut jeans. I can wear them with or without socks.

I just received these shoes today. The color is perfect. The style is great. The comfort is true to Dansko's on the "try on phase" -- we'll see long term. My only complaint is the insoles. Dansko should have made them with smooth leather so a foot with socks on would slide in smoothly. I've been looking for a comfy pair of red clogs for years and except for the insole as mentioned above these are perfect. Definitely going to keep them.

Oh, happiness. I didn't know what to expect, as this model is new and there were no reviews. Dansko usually works for me very well, but you never know. I love these shoes. I wear a 9 but the 40 fits very well, even though it is supposedly for size 9 1/2 - 10. A little darker than I expected, but heavenly.

Love the style of these shoes. My only complaint is I have already got 2 small scratches on the toe of one of the shoes.

I just love the style of these shoes - very cute with the cutouts and a great addition to my shoe wardrobe. Currently they are at the shoe repair shop getting stretched a bit since they are tight across the instep - unusual for Dansko's and me. I won't return these, but I was disappointed with the fit.

These are comfortable clogs, and the only reason I gave them a 4 is that when it is hot outside they don't breathe. So, good for spring or fall, but not summer. They fit true to size.

These are pretty comfy. My first pair of Danskos, so it does take some getting used to as they have an arch support in the center of the clog. Great to have around the house, or for running errands, but not a great walking shoe. The bottom is not wood though, a fake wood look, but I liked it better than the black ones, as the bottom looks like plastic, and like it might get scuffed up pretty quickly.

Definitely order these a size larger than you usually wear. I wear a 40 in Dansko's (I'm a size 9 in most shoes), but just got my order today and they definitely run smaller than usual. My heel was on the edge of the shoe and my toe was in as far as it could go and that was barefoot. Tried with a thin sock too and it was worse. Shoe looks cute and feels comfortable. Already re-ordered the next size up. Can't wait to wear them!

This shoe in crimson is absolutely gorgeous in person. The color is vibrant and looked adorable peeking out under my indigo bootcut jeans. However, for me they seemed a half size smaller than marked. I purchased the Dansko Shyanne also in a size 37 at the same time, and when I measured the soles against one another, the Skylar is a good half inch shorter. The shoe felt a bit too small both in length and width around the toebox area. I also found the footbed to be flatter and not as supportive as the Shyanne, so unfortunately they're being returned.

Have received many compliments on shoes. They gave me significant blisters however, material rises a little high in front. After three+ weeks and bandaids have finally worn them in. I wear them without socks and they get a bit sweaty. Look good but probably would go for different style. I usually love Dansko because of their comfort.

I thought these would be a dressier alternative to a stapled clog for work.. but the comfort is nowhere near Dansko's regular clogs. For me, it was not enough room in the instep. The top of my foot was aching after wearing them for about 5 minutes.

Meh. I wanted to like these, the idea of a summery clog, one to hide my toes and be business appropriate yet cute was attractive, but these didn't deliver. Cute, yes. But the leather is rigid, it really hurt the outer part of my foot with each step (right below my little toe). I didn't find size to be an issue like many of the other reviewers here, but the shoe is going back.

These are actually a dark red, not the red shown. Also have a narrow heel so tipping is likely.
