Since Ryka removed the previous model cross trainer, the Enhance is a good substitute. I use it for aerobic work-outs and it offers good stability and support.

Great great great shoes! I am usually cheap to spend more then a lot on shoes. But these ones, totally worth the price. I instruct Jazzercise and since I got Ryka, never had pain or discomfort in my feet when jumping, jogging or performing the the kick-boxing moves during the class.

This is a good shoe for zumba but not like the old pair of Studio Flex-low I bought more than a year ago. I just bought a new pair of Studio Flex-low this month and both the Flex and Enhance seem to be a bit slippery. They both allow you to slide but every now and then, I slip just a little bit. I was still able to control the sliding though. The soles look the same as my old Flex shoe but for some reason, they offer less traction. The best feature is it's lightweight yet very comfortable cushioning. The shoes look quite attractive.

I received them today, fast delivery as always. I like the look, the fit and how lightweight it is. Just a little sticky and squeaky. Deciding whether to get Ryka Downbeat instead.

Ryka has always been my choice for working out. I especially like the higher tops, but the cushioning in these don't seem to be as good as previous ones. When I put one of these on one foot and my old ones that are years old on the other foot, I couldn't tell that these new ones had any more cushioning than my old ones that have had the cushioning beat out of (step aerobics gives them a real pounding). I am keeping them though because it seems there are no other choices. I just wish they made them like they used to!

I bought this shoe to replace my old Ryka Studio D Low shoes for Zumba fitness classes. Ryka no longer makes the shoe I had. But these are the closest to that model. They have a higher profile. But the fit is great. If you have a wider foot, these shoes are perfect. They are narrow in the heel with plenty of cushioning around the heel. But they get wider through the front of the foot as opposed to being straight. This is the perfect design for my foot -- and most women. I found these to be true to size and they're great on the wooden floors in the studio. They don't stick when you need to pivot quickly. My only problem is the lack of arch support. I spent extra money on full arch supports for these shoes. However, I have higher arches. So, someone else may not encounter this problem.

Lightweight, really fun looking shoe but way too much volume even with my orthotics inserted.

This shoe fits like it should as far as marked size and width. I find I need 2 pair of socks to make the fit work best, plus have needed the padding where the shoe fits at my ankle, as the stiffness there is noticeable, especially if the shoe is tied tightly. The good news is, the shoes do loosen up over time there. The shoes are cute, but not as enhancing to my legs as I'd hoped. I look thick in the ankles in this style. Maybe that's just me. But the shoe is giving me plenty of support for a punishing hour-long aerobic type of workout. So I'm happy overall, but still probably wouldn't buy this particular shoe again.

I have used Ryka studio shoes for several years. These are an improvement over the Ryka Studio Flex model. The mid-rise ankle is perfect for my need of a little extra ankle support. They are very light weight, flexible, and have better forefoot cushion than the Studio Flex. The light weight aspect helps me feel light on my feet as I work through intense or complicated choreography. I use these daily for high intensity advanced step aerobics and kick boxing. I personally would like still more forefoot cushioning. As I wear them, I will probably buy a better insert to help with the cushioning. Overall, I am very pleased with them!

I like it. My feet are little skinnier so I have to tighten it in front little more, but they are still comfortable.

I ordered a half size larger as I normally do for Rykas, but the shoes felt huge. I reordered in my true shoe size, but they still feel a bit big, especially the width. I'm keeping them for Jazzercise even though they don't have the usual good Ryka fit. The arch support feels so-so, too. On the positive side, they're lightweight and cute.

These sneakers are great. They should be consider high tops which works well for me. I had to insert an additional insole because their insole didn't provide enough support. Otherwise, I am very happy with this sneaker.

Just not like the old Ryka aerobic shoes. Not enough arch support, not enough cushion.

I bought these for aerobics classes that involve a lot of BOSU (the thing that looks like half of an exercise ball) work and weights. I didn't buy them for their looks and that was a good thing because I didn't feel they were very cute on me. I usually wear a 7.5 athletic shoe so I tried the 7.5. Even though the length and toe box fit just right in the 7.5, my heel slipped. I also had the same problem in the Synergy and the Assist XT 2. This has never been a problem for me with other brands. I really liked having the ankle support in these, it made me feel very stable. I would have needed more arch support if I had kept them. These are not a thickly cushioned type of shoe that makes you feel like you're walking on air. They give you more tactile response and so would be best fit to dance style classes. I don't know if it was just the lightweight feel of these or what, but they felt the cheapest out of the three styles I tried. Regardless, I think they are well made (in China, as are all Rykas).

Strike three. Had a pair of Rykas that I loved a few years ago, so went right back to Ryka when those wore out. And sadly, had to send them back. Didn't feel like much padding in the forefoot - I probably could have fixed that with extra socks and gel inserts, but that kind of defeats the point of the cooling mesh upper and paying for a high-end shoe in the first place - if I'm going to have to accessorize to make it comfortable anyway, then I'll start with something more comfortable and less expensive. To be fair, the pair I'm replacing was a pair of walking shoes and I'm looking for these to use for Zumba and kickboxing...maybe it's just this style/type that isn't meant to be. Either way, no more Ryka's for me.

I have been wearing Ryka for years and I recommend them to all my students. (I am a Jazzercise instructor.) This is the first time I was totally disappointed with a Ryka shoe. I always try the new styles, but for the last couple of years keep purchasing the Flex. I thought this one would be similar to the Flex Mid. It was much wider, even in the heel, and my foot slid so very much. It was also much stiffer and honestly didn't seem to have the same amount of cushioning in the forefoot. I have to have wide toe box due to big old bunions and the Flex is the perfect fit for my foot. Pkease keep carrying that Flex! These were cute though. Love that pink and black combo.

They are okay. I don't love them like other women do. My knee has been bothering me and I do a lot of high impact cardio, including step, so I thought I'd give them a shot. They are very lightweight and they are comfortable on but during class I find that the bottom of my feet started to hurt and even rolled my ankle a bit. I bought gel inserts and that helped a bit. I'm giving them a few more tries before I give up entirely on them.

I have always worn average/normal width shoes, so these surprised me when the toe box area is so wide that I worried that they would catch during any lateral movement.

Hmmm. Not so awesome. The design looks great in the picture. The materials are cheap. Too much plastic. The ankle pad is so high that it rubs on your ankle. It runs a half size large. I wear 8.5 and I would need thick socks to feel comfortable, or order a size 8.

I too was a big fan of the N-Gauge Studio Mid and have been extremely disappointed with its subsequent replacements. This shoe has slightly more cushion than the Studio-Mid but there is no way I'd be able to use these shoes without my custom orthotics--the shoe has absolutely no arch support. I replace my shoes every six weeks but these shoes didn't even make it a month. By the fourth week, I felt as if I were working out in my bare feet.

teach cardio classes and loved Ryka's N-Gage Studio Mid fitness shoe. They no longer make that shoe and have presented this cheap, poor quality, no-support, horrible fitting shoe as its replacement. Too bad. I will no longer buy Ryka nor will I recommend it to my students, as their shoe manufacturing process must have changed and they no longer make the fantastic shoes they used to make.

These shoes are great! I wear them for high impact jazzercise six days a week. They give great arch support and they are light weight.

This shoe is perfect for my step and kick boxing classes. Comfy right out of the box and good support. This shoe runs a little wider than my other Ryka shoes which is great for me.
