Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

For double wide shoes they really weren't much wider. I wanted to give a rating of 0 but it wouldn't let me.

The left shoe had a descent fit, but I couldn't get my right foot in the shoe. This is what happens when quality control fails.

My mom has been wearing the shoes for years I just ordered 2 pair and they squeak the whole time she walks.

The sneakers run terribly short. I usually wear a size 8 but after reading the comments from former people that order them, they said these run short so I ordered up a 1/2 size still to short. I'll try a size 9 to see if this will work.

Very Disappointed... wide enough shoe but the velcro strap was too short... Poorly designed

First time trying New Balance-need to be properly measured. Cannot buy on line again.

I have been buying NB shoes exclusively for more years than I can remember, but will not buy them again. Quality has declined, shoe style and shape has changed and I am one sad x-customer!

Too narrow ............................had to return ......

Can't even give this item a rating because it was returned since BOTH of the shoes were defective. On right, the anchor of the bottom strap was sewn in a position that directed the strap in obliquely to the other side. On Left, the tongue was longer than on the right by at least 1/2 inch an looked ridiculous. Most disappointing purchase from New Balance ever.

I have had my pair of New Balance for 8 years and they are the reason that I can keep my balance and walk by myself. So when I needed to buy a new pair of course I turned to New Balance again. However, they have been redesigned; the strap closest to my foot is higher up on the shoe then my original pair and when I walk it cuts into my foot and I have had to wear it so loose that its not safe for me to walk and also the tops of the shoes are higher and the back has this V cut out and the higher top and V cut out cut into my ankle and foot. I have not returned them because the receipt with the shipping return label was accidentally thrown away and so I felt that I was helpless to to anything about my purchase. I hope that you can do something to help me get a pair like my old ones or to compensate my loss by return.

I bought the 577 shoe and it is very uncomfortable. I bought New Balance for several years because of the different widths. I need a narrow shoe and not many companies do narrow shoes. A couple of years ago I noticed New Balance wasn't the same shoe I was used to. It was little shorter and the seams rubbed blisters on my feet. I decided to try another brand of shoe. Those shoes were great but now that company doesn't not make narrow shoes anymore, so I'm back to New Balance and I hate them. This is the last pair I will purchase. I used to think New Balance was the only shoe there was but no more. New Balance is like all the other companies comfort and quality doesn't matter anymore.

This was the first time I had used a "hook and loop" They were too tight and would not hold...
