Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

I really can't give a correct review, because I had foot surgery on both feet and the swelling hasn't gone down 100%. I couldn't even get my toes in the left foot. Perhaps a mesh athletic shoe would be better for me.

Perfect shoes

Normally I find the New Balance sneaker with Velcro closure to fit comfortably, this time it didn't. There's a pressure point by my big toe that is quite irritating and uncomfortable. Since these sneakers have been worn, I'm presuming a return is out of the question.

Item Came two days early!

The straps were not very strong velcro, and they didn’t seam to be long enough. The depth sing shallow from top to bottom.

Ok, I got these shoes for my 90 yr old mom who insists on wearing sandals. We hoped we could convince her to wear walking shoes, but she said these “fit” in terms of length but felt so big on her feet that she couldn’t move comfortably … I don’t know that is the shoe’s fault. These seem to have solid soles and would offer good stability. One of the concerns is that these “seem to propel you forward”, which seems like a positive thing for walking shoes, but I guess when using a walker, she felt the shoes were pushing her to go forward too much/too fast

The problem with this sneaker is new balance makes wide but the the velcro strap is not long enough go close the sneaker..this is the 2nd time we tried wide on new balance

They fit but I couldn’t get the top tab to stay closed . So hiking or walking with them just won’t work

My husband calls these my Grandpa shoes but I LOVE THEM!!! I wear them at work and they are so comfortable for being on my feet and running around all day. I work in healthcare. They have great arch support for my big, high arch feet, and they take a lot of pressure off my low back pain. Plus they are so easy to put on. Excellent walking shoes and I think they're so ugly they're cute <3

These felt a bit short, maybe not a half size, but enough to be uncomfortable. The straps are very stiff, so also a bit uncomfortable.

Toes felt too bunched. The tongue pressed against the front of my leg. The padded tongue was difficult to position. Strap very difficult to get into place if you have to temporarily remove to place foot and a brace into shoe. They just didn't work for me.

Love the fit. This the fourth pair of this shoe I've ordered.

These shoes run small and a bit narrow. I tried my usual size and half size up and unfortunately neither fit well.

Right out of the box super comfortable and very supportive! I like the Velcro closures. A great shoe!
