Best walking shoes ever I walk a mile and my back didn't hurt because of the good shoe support.

I purchased these for my 96 year old mom ~ her old pair was the same 577 but white. She said these new 577s are much heavier than the previous ones...that's because these new 577's are leather ! She said they are good for strengthening her leg muscles !

The greatest leather walking shoe out there. Bought these shoes from another company with the velcro. The tonque of the other shoes peeled. I have these saame shoes that I bought at least 4 years ago& they are still wearable but not looking as nice. They are so comfortable. Anyone that has not bought New Balance shoes, I would suggest you try them. Well built & wide sizes. I Love,love my NewBalance shoes. The people that I spoke to our just wonderful!! Personal, daily use -have used for years. Order new pair when current pair is wearing out. Excellent quality product.

Easy to put on. Comfortable too. I like that you have a choice of three colors to choose from. I ordered the tan which are neutral but my next pair will definitely be the black ones. I also appreciate the choice of widths available.

Not only do I love the walking shoes, the customer service is excellent. I recently ordered shoes that I never saw. I don't know if they were stolen off my porch, or if they just never made it. Either way, I called New Balance and they didn't question anything. They refunded my money and put in a new order for my shoes. I really appreciate the fact that someone (or a company) took me at my word. I am a teacher and would not be able to afford another pair of shoes in time for a charity walk I am involved in. Thank you New Balance for being so accommodating!

Walk regularly with shoe for over 10,000 steps per day. Alternate with two pairs of New Balance shoes. Nice to have large sizes too in narrow. Rosd

Great shoes!! I can walk with out hurting.. I love NB only shoe that keeps my feet from hurting.

These shoes are the ONLY shoe I wear practically. Most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

It seems like there are a plethora of choices for overpronators and those with plantar fasciitis. I discovered a couple of years ago that I am a supinator. I walk on the lateral aspects of my feet. I also have very high arches. My podiatrist says I have what they call "princess's feet," but my Tailor's Bunion does not look very princessy. The only cure, for now, is to wear the correct shoe. This one fits all the basic categories: open toe box, deep heel cup, stabilization, and excellent shock absorption. The insoles are great, but I do remove them to use my custom orthotics. Thank goodness big, white lace-up sneakers are in fashion now. But how about some different colors, maybe in canvas?

This pair replaced the pair I purchased 4 years ago! Same style, can't go wrong!
