Customer Reviews New Balance WW577 Hook and Loop

This is my 4th pair of new balance and they are still the same high quality as in the past. I gave tried three other brands and always come back to new balance.

People...If you ordered the wrong shoe or shoe size please don't leave negative reviews! it's not the shoes fault that you made a mistake. You give people the wrong impression, you're suppose to review the fit, the performance the make and customer care. With that said here's my review....You may need a larger size in these shoes, I wear an 8 but ordered an 8.5 and they fit perfect. I have horrible arthritis and tendinitis and these are the ONLY shoes I can wear that eases my pain so much I can now walk through a store again. The Velcro straps are a bit short and maybe will stretch out with wear but I will deal with it for a great pair of shoes like these.

These shoes are incredible. I love the color and my feel are extra wide and they fit perfectly. They are a bit bigger without socks so if you I aren't wearing them with socks maybes get a size smaller. But I am wearing them with socks so they fit great. Would 10/10 recommend. Also they came a day earlier than expected.

I purchased this shoe for my cousin who is an active 75 year old woman living in assisted living. She found the shoe to be very comfortable for her needs, "not to stiff and lighter in weight" than other shoes she has worn.

These are the only shoes my feet will tolerate. I have MS and they are very comfortable and I can walk very well in them.

When I was looking for a good 'walking' shoes (at my local store), this 577 was my second choice. Ultimately I chose 840v2 for walking purpose because they fit better for me -roomier toe box, more stability due to wider outer sole, etc- BUT this 577 was close second. 577 fit more snug and somewhat feels less bulkier than 840v2. So I bought these for everyday errand shoes. A little bit too high on the side and dig into my ankle bone -my R foot is fine but L foot is a tad smaller than R so maybe one size down would make a difference but then my R foot would be too tight- I don't have this issue with 840v2- probably it will go away as I keep wearing. I've only wore these for a couple of hours at this point. Anyway, this is also a well made shoes and great from the price point.

I am a senior and have a bad foot. This shoe makes it possible for me to walk and keep my balance. I have been wearing for over 15 years. It is easy for me to fasten and unfasten. Thank you New Balance for making this type of shoe.

I am a big fan of this style of new balance because I wear special inserts in my shoes and they have fit very well all these years and comfortable. I got my order delivered at a very acceptable time . I have to wear the ones with the Velcro straps because I have arthritis across the tops of my feet and easy adjusted for comfort. The only thing I have not figured out is how to get the extra Velcro shoeing that seems to stick to my slack cuffs and make uneven places .

Wish it came in Navy Blue! Other than that, I'm very happy with my beige and black shoes.

Purchased for soon to be 90 year old and she loves them.

I will use these shoes in most all weather situations. Extremely supportive and well made. I love them! And true to fit.

I use these shoes for walking. Considering that I didn't try on first, they fit very well. The only downside is that they are a bit clunky and heavy, but they do give good support.

I bought these shoes as a gift for my mom. It has good foot support and comfortable. I'll definitely recommend it.

These are the only shoes I wear. Of course now, I rarely wear shoes at all, but when this this all over and real life begins, I will happily wear my new shoes!

I use them most every day, being elderly they make me feel safe and secure. the fit is comfortable. This is the first walking sneaker I have purchased when the weather cools I know I will enjoy them. NB is the BEST.

I bought for my disabled adult child. I love not having to tie shoelaces and even better not having them come untied and her falling on them. I have them in all colors and they seem to be comfortable for her also! Happy to find them..on sale was even better!!

This is a great solid shoe that gives confidence to the wearer. Very fine. Kind of bulky for packing, but worth it.,

Great shoes, This is probably my 6th pair of New Balance shoes, although the first with velcro fastenings which are perfect for my swelling feet. So comfortable did not even have to break them in.

Great walking shoe with good support. We have been purchasing the 577 for eight years and will continue to do so.

I would have liked to purchase the shoes in "wide" rather than medium if that would have been available.

Easy to get on. Works with my different width feet. I have two different widths due to an injury. I can adjust each shoe to fit.
