I have worn these for a long time Due my high instep I maybe could’ve used a wide width. They are overall great. Dr agrees. At my age no falling allowed. Keeps me sure footed in gait. Thx NB

I found this pair of shoes to be comfortable from the first time I wore them. They support my feet and feel good on the heel

These are the only walking shoes that fit my narrow feet. I could use them even a little narrower in the heel, but they work. If only they had a little more style!

Fit was exact. Shoes looks very wide though my size is narrow but once on they feel perfect, even after 12 hour shift. Excellent shoe, great price.

Like most New Balances, these are nice, solid shoes, that are decent-looking for something so practical, but my narrow feet almost swam in them, unless I wore two pairs of socks. And, like almost all narrow sizes, they are much too wide in the heel.

I am a big fan of New Balance sneakers and leave me slighty disappointed. They are a little stiff and hurt the top of my foot. The pain seems to go away as I'm wearing them but I am relieved to get them off at the end of the day. I will buy another pair of new balance and try again!

I use these shoes for walking on the treadmill. The shoes squeaked for approx. the first two weeks that I wore them. I think the squeak was coming from the tongue of the shoe. Otherwise, the shoe is comfortable and I have not had to place a heel insole in the shoe.

This shoe is everything I'd expected. The width and depth provide ample room for an additional Spenco insole, which I'd recommend to anyone who is overweight.

NB927 is a sturdier model. An excellent shoe.

I've been wearing size 8.5 New Balance for years, but this pair is a tad short and I think it needs to go back.

I ordered the New Balance WW577 in white in late summer / early fall. Once I got them softened up and 'broken in' they were fine. They are very comfortable now and I wear them every day. The white shoes feel true to size and width (9.5 W). Then I ordered the same shoe, New Balance WW577 in black during the winter, and it has taken forever to get them to soften up and get almost 'broken in'. I was so confident that they would become comfortable that I overlooked the daily discomfort of wearing them. Well, that discomfort has caught up to me, and the black shoes just don't fit the same way as the white shoes. The black shoes still feel 1/2 size too short in length, although the width is fine. My feet haven't changed a size during the winter, because the white shoes, and other shoes, still fit and feel fine, although the white sneakers look a bit out of place with winter clothes. So, my review is mixed for these shoes. I love that they are made of leather and that I can clean and waterproof them as needed.

Not terribly bulky and attractive for an old lady tennis shoe. The insoles come out to make room for orthotics. However, I ordered my usual size and it was just a hair small. I could have lived with that but there was a spot on my left foot that rubbed. I think the width was also a hair less wide which led to the rubbing. Had to go back

Years ago, I swore by NB shoes, but in recent years they never had enough room in the toe box. I keep hoping I'll get a pair of NB that fit like the old ones did. This pair and another pair I bought, did not fit the way I hoped.

This is only week two of wearing these sneakers and so far my feet are killing me. I wear them to work and am on my feet all day, I have planters facetious, so finding shoes is very difficult for me. New Balance has always worked in the past so I am just waiting to break them in some more.

I have another pair of the 577s bought previously which I love. This is why I purchased the new pair. I like to rotate shoes for my daily 3 mile walk. This new pair is giving me a bit of friction irritation which is coming on top of the toes from the tongue edge. The older pair does not do this. Because I rotate among 3 pairs of NB (3rd is different model), I can cope. Hoping it corrects?
Friction irritation is reason for the 3 stars. Otherwise rest is OK.

The shoe fit is good, but the tongue is too stiff and causes blisters. If the tongue had padding it would be tolerable.

I like the shoes and the high toe box, there is an arch built into the shoe that does not fit my foot. I tried walking around in them and the arch was uncomfortable. Perhaps better for someone with a high arch?

These sneakers are worth the price...only thing is, there is NO arch support, the liner inside is very thin and flimsy, so no arch support here, that's why I give it only 3 stars, because now I have to buy some orthodic inserts, wish these had better arch support, very flat fitting sneakers.

I loved these shoes and originally thought they would be perfect. However, within minutes I was aware of stiff side pieces digging into my ankle on the outside. I ordered these in two colors and both had the ankle digging issue.

Super stiff sole. Absolutely no bend in the shoe. The footbed is stiff and won’t bend to allow for a comfortable gait. Even adding orthotic inserts, the shoes don’t offer arch support. The bulk of the shoe almost leans inward. As stiff as horse shoes. Really disappointing for New Balance7

This is a well made shoe with one exception, the tongue of the shoe has no cushioning whatsoever and as a result, it rubs the top of the ankle. I found it too uncomfortable to keep on my feet after a few hours and had to take the shoes off and pack them up for return. The sole of the shoe is excellent and it has great support.
I found the shoe wide, wider than most, but I was willing to deal with it because it is a solid shoe. The very cheap tongue pushed me over the top.
Also, the shape of the shoe is more for a wide shaped oval foot. I can not wear a wide but these shoes would have been passable if not for the tongue issue. My foot is wide toe and narrow heel. As I stated, I would have kept the shoe in spite of it not being shaped for my foot because it is so extremely difficult to find a good shoe with excellent support and suited for PF. New Balance needs to redesign the shoe with a cushioned tongue. I'll stick with Saucony Integrity Walker 3.

Despite the Q&A that confirmed twice that removing the insole would accommodate orthotics, the answer was a little off. It did accommodat the orthotic, but then wouldn't accommodate my foot--I couldn't even get the shoe on.

I ordered a 12 S which fits but looks like a medium width at the least. These shoes are clunky; the sole protrudes from the shoes especially on the sides. Makes one prone to tripping over one's own feet or stumbling on steps. Perhaps this is true only of the narrow sizes? It seems the size of the soles do not match the size of the shoe lasts used in the process of making them. Perhaps the same sole is used for narrow shoes as for wider widths? Wish New Balance still made a 12 SS as it used to with a sole that fit the rest of the shoe.

The shoe was not comfortable at all. Not enough padding in the shoe, felt flat. Also was a half size too short. I ordered 10.5 W. My toes were to the very end of shoe.

In looking for a different pair of shoes, I ordered these. When I tried them on, I realized my orthotics wouldn't allow me to wear them. The fit was too short and narrow. Unfortunately, I had to return the shoes.
