These shoes are very comfy, and if they are anything like the last New Balance sneakers I got, they'll last for a few years of very extensive walking. Zappos' service was, as usual, amazing. Ordered them one evening, they were delivered the following morning!

This is a very comfortable shoe. True to size and the price was simply fantastic.

I've purchased several pairs of walking shoes. The New Balance WW577 is by far the best. I love these shoes! I'm tempted to buy the last two pairs.

I bought this sneaker for my mom after months of searching for a comfortable pair of sneakers that she could wear anywhere everyday. She thought it looked much more like a shoe. A big plus. I love that you can buy this in different widths. Considering buying a 2nd pair since wide width sneakers are hard to find. This is a great deal from Zappos and I got it within 2 days. Can't beat that.

I have a very narrow heel. Most sneakers are too wide. But New Balance shoes run narrow and are a perfect fit, even in a medium width size. They are well-made and hold up well for years. For every day walking,these are the only shoes I will buy.

I like these shoes. I needed white leather shoes for a clinical rotation and I have wide feet. My choices were few and I am pretty happy with these. My only complaint is that the arch support is too close to the heel and not quite where the arch of my foot is. But I can stand in them without my feet being killing me at the end of the day. They are not what I would call stylish, but they are not ugly, either.

I bought these sneakers for work as I am on my feet during my whole shift. They are roomy and comfortable and very stable. I am not at all disappointed in them.

I suppose these are perfect for a certain type of walker but not me. I tried these because of my toe arthritis and slight bunion issue. I found them too rigid on the bottom, not a strike path I am used to. They are also very ugly, but I was willing to try them because of my big toe arthritis. I like to walk fast and I felt like these were cumbersome and blocky on my feet. Not the shoe for me and after looking more, I found more stylish shoes in wide with wide toe boxes in Saucony and Ryka. I could see how they would be very stable for someone with balance issues. They are not awful shoes, just not for me.

I'd like to replace an older pair of New Balance sneakers. I ordered this style in Size 9--a step up from the others, which are a little skimpy in the toe area. Wow, the new pair might as well be 8 1/2 and felt even dsmaller than the old. Not sure how the sizing could be so off. Returning them.

Overall these are nice looking, good fitting sneakers and I have XX wide feet. It does seem that the sole is kind of thin on the ball of the foot compared to other sneakers but it works well for me to use as kind of a nursing shoe. I walk a lot but it is mostly indoors. I do not think it would good for regular outdoor walking or running.

I've never had this problem before - this shoe is too short - even stranger because none of the reviews cite this. Can't comment on comfort because of this. Bummed because I'm looking for a shoe like this that does not have a rocker bottom.

These 577s are not the same as the ones I purchased 5 years ago; these new ones are terrible. Has New Balance switched manufacturers? My old pair, SAME SIZE, fit perfectly. These 577s have much less material to pull up toward the laces, as if NB is trying to save on leather. The gap between the laces is huge, the heel wider than before, and when I lacing to the very top holes, the tongue digs into my ankle. Same issues with the other styles recently purchased from NB--correct size for my feet but the shoes seem cheaply made.

The shoe is good quality. It maintains a good, clean look and can repel water when walking in rain so my socks don’t get soaked. I put a high arch insert inside and then it was comfortable since there isn’t much arch support provided.

Love these leather sneakers, New Balance WW577. I bought size 9.5 W and 9.5 Extra Wide, but I will most likely return the Extra Wide as the Wide fits well now that I've worn them gently around the house for about 12 hours, a few hours at a time. I love the round toe, deep toe box, and snug-fitting heel. Love the way they feel solid and supportive, especially for my problem flat left foot. They also feel great for my normal right foot. I'm very pleased with these shoes and look forward to getting more. I will use them for everyday use, which is a lot of walking and standing. I like the Classic, traditional style, and didn't want anything with the trendy look of an overly thick, pillowy outer sole. I am over 60 years old and very active.

Solid shoes. Slightly clunky in terms of weight/design. Toe box is extra wide compared to the rest of the show. Feels like they are built to last.

Now I know why my mail carrier recomended this style of New Balance walking shoes. They're the most comfortable, best fitting walking shoes I've ever worn. They only took a day wearing them inside to completely break in once I slightly loosened the laces.

This is the only shoe with a large enough toe box...recently the sizing hasn't been consistent

Love the shoe but did have to add gels for the proper softness and arch support.

FIT SIZE , WIDTH ARE TRUE TO SIZE. STYLE IS OK. DIDN'T BUY IT FOR THE STYLE. PURCHASED THIS SNEAKER FOR THE COMFORT. THIS IS AT LEAST THE 3-4 TH TIME PURCHASING BECAUSE OF COMFORT. FOR ME THAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT.

Like a lot of people, I have fussy feet. They blister easily, etc. I have worn NB shoes for exercise and walking for many years, and this new pair was as comfortable right out of the box as all the others. ‘No blisters or tightness or need to break them in. Sufficiently wide toe cap accompanied by sufficiently narrow heel make them work just right!
