I Have personally worn New Balance shoes for decades. I used to wear Nike and Adidas, but I had such bad foot and low back pain at the end of my nursing shift that I started paying attention to what some of my coworkers were wearing and I noticed a lot of New Balance, so I decided to try them, and I have never gone back, I recommend them to everyone who complains about foot pain or asks me about how I like mine. I have had such a wonderful experience with every pair I've bought, never got a bum pair, but there are styles I like better than others. This pair that I'm reviewing for this particular purchase, I actually bought for my mom who is 85yrs old and diabetic. For some time she's been complaining about her expensive, doctor prescribed diabetic shoes that she could only get in person from the Hanger company. They were so heavy, she wasn't picking up her feet high enough when she walked and was having a lot of falls, one that resulted with a broken hip. So I decided to take a chance, with utmost faith and confidence, and I purchased these shoes for my mom. They were true to size, she has a narrow heal and wide toe bed and she says they feel like a dream, the heal hugs hers, they're light weight and have a nice wide sole, and she said she felt so much more stable when she walked. This is the 2nd pair I bought for her, the 1st pair were a neutral khaki color, but she likes to wear black a lot, so I bought her a black pair when they came on sale, and she just loves them, couldn't thank me enough, and by the way, this woman is sooooo hard to please!

Sooo easy to put on and take off. Wonderful shoe to wear in the house on concrete floor!!

These shoes are very comfortable. They're light & well cushioned which makes for very comfortable walking. This is the third pair i've owned & i hope the style stays around for many more years. Great casual shoe. You can't go wrong with this style., & the hook & loop closure is super easy.

I love Velcro closure shoes and have worn out the pair of New Balance ones I already had with a lot of walking these last months - the shoes held up just great as well as the Velcro clusures - I just ran out of soles.

The 577 New Balance shoe is a perfect style. It is easy to put on and very comfortable to wear. I will buy this shoe style again.

Sneakers fit great , the Velcro is so much easier to use because I'm recovering from a hip replacement. Thanks!

I wear them most of the time. They are so comfortable! They fit snugly to my feet so I can walk or run confidently. I like the velcro closures--makes them easy to put on and take off and easily accommodates my high arches.

This is my third or fourth pair, and I buy them because they are comfortable and easy to slip on and off. The velcro never slips, and I can adjust the tightness easily.

I bought the pair of sneakers for my mom. She and I are very happy with them.

I have been getting this style of NB shoes for years. I wear them for walking, and just about everything else-even gardening except when they're new.In which case I try to keep them really clean for at least awhile!

Had an old pair (decades) and awhile back put them on and they felt really supportive and comfortable, plus had some life in them still! So, ordered these new ones with the velcro closures since am now 84 and needed the help. Very happy to say the fit is still fine and now think these new shoes will last as long as I will. Hoping for some great years left to walk safely.

These shoes are very comfortable and easy to care for. I am glad to be able to enjoy my walks when wearing these shoes. They fit very well.

I like this shoe. I am nearly 66 years old. Sometimes my fingers don't want to cooperate with tying the shoelaces on my shoes. This hook and loop shoe resolved that problem for me. New Balance walking shoes are comfortable to me. I ordered my usual shoe size and the shoe fit me. Walking in them felt good. No lower back pain.

I use my New Balance shoes for walking and at the gym. They provide me with the support I need to keep from being in pain.

Took a couple of Returns to get the right fit for Mom (85 yrs young) after loosing 60+ pounds during Lock-Down. Thank you sooo much for your Return Policy so Mom can still wear her favorite style of shoes - Velcro 577 We are in our 3rd decade of being New Balance Strong

My husband and I walk regularly. I also plan to wear these on long car rides. I took my new shoes out for a test walk, and never got a blister. Our walks typically last an hour and a half to two hours. I find the shoes to be very comfortable.

Comfort walking Not as stylish looking as I would like.
