I knew that NB tended to fit me well when I looked for a walking shoe--I'm already on a second pair of their waterproof hiking shoes. Found this model on their site but couldn't find it in a local (physical) store--too new. Zappos to the rescue. I really enjoy this shoe; very comfortable and supportive. And it looks great, and I think 5% for breast cancer. So.

I'm a NB fan and was disappointed with overall quality of shoe. No arch support and tight across the toe box. I have a small but wide foot with a high arch and these are not the shoe for that.

Great shoe! I walk to/from work daily so I'm always in search of comfortable shoes. Plus, I have a bunion on one foot that makes it hard to find something that fits well and is comfortable. This shoe is so great I'm buying a 2nd pair for when these wear out!

This is a great walker. I was looking for a shoe that would provide comfort and stability after breaking my foot and this shoe provided both. It is also a good neutral color. I always order my New Balance a full size larger so it fit perfectly.

I wear these shoes for walking, as well as other everyday activites. I love that they are very lightweight and comfortable.

I can see why this shoe has been rated Best Walking Shoe by Health Magazine. This is the first walking shoe that I have purchased that has been comfortable from day one. Great support and lightweight. Zappos provided top notch service, getting my new shoes to me in one day with no shipping cost! I highly recommend the New Balance 860 and Zappos!

This is a great all-around sport shoe. I use it for walking, lite hiking, biking, etc. I have had a similar style ND sneaker in the past and continue (and will continue) to purchase the same shoe.

I purchased these shoes after reading a review in Prevention magazine of the top 10 comfort walking shoes. They are the most comfortable pair of NB shoes I have ever owned. They are so light! I can not wear all NB shoes as the top is sometimes too high on my ankles in the back, but these fit perfectly.

New Balance shoes are always a good fit for me. I wear a size 5, which can be rather difficult to find in styles I like. The rigid sole, firm innersole, soft woven upper, and cushioned support provide comfort for walking and other activities. I love these shoes!

This shoe was recommended in an article about walking shoes. I have had heel spurs and plantar fasciitis and have used several custom made and over the counter inserts. When I saw the price I was apprehensive because I'm use to paying about half that for tennis shoes. We were going on a trip and I really didn't want my feet to be a reason for missing anything or not being able to keep up with my energetic husband so I spent the extra money and am thrilled that I did. I have not had to use the inserts and most days I completely forget I ever even had foot issues. These shoes are lightweight and airy, but support the arch perfectly. They also hug your heel so there is no slipping when jogging on the treadmill. They are very cute with the deep fuchsia color, and better yet a portion of the sale benefits the breast cancer association. Lastly, the Zappos folks were uber pleasant in emails thanking me for my purchase and the shoes arrived in the promised time.

These are the best sneakers. I had New Balance sneakers, so I knew the sizing and these fit perfectly. They came really fast. It was much better than a trip to the mall, where they may or may not have the style you want or your size. Zappos is great!

These are comfortable! They felt true to size, perhaps a tad roomy at first, but I know a half size smaller would have been too tight. I'm a fast walker and I'm pleased with how they feel on my feet. The only drawback I see is the shoe laces are a bit short when they're tied to every hole.

I have always loved New Balance shoes because they fit my feet well. I have a very narrow foot and it is hard to find shoes to fit. This particular shoe is great. I think it is very comfortable and did not take me long to break it in. I received no blisters while doing so. :)

I bought these in a 71/2 M. These shoes were perfect, but I will be returning them for a wide, since I have to buy a shoe for a left foot bunion. Thankfully, New Balance offers plenty of wide widths.

After searching for this particular walking shoe all over metro Atlanta, including New Balance retail stores, Zappos were the only ones who had them in stock with fast shipping. The shoes are very comfortable with good support in the heel and arch area. The forefoot is as flexible as a running shoe. All in all, this shoe and this company gets a stamp of approval.

Couldn't stand the gray laces, changed them to white. It took me awhile to get used to them. Now they are comfortable.

Nice padded tongue. I am a fast walker, usually with a 5-8 lb backpack going 3-4 miles roundtrip to shop. The shoes do not give the cushioning I need. If I am not carrying any weight they are OK.

These were a recommended shoe by testers and I am disappointed! First, they are narrow wide is not wide. They have no cushion what-so-ever. I walk 3 mi/day on pavement and my legs kill at the end of my walk. Sure they are lightweight and look nice but that is all. I like NB, but not this model.

I purchased this shoe because I have a pair of the WR860 (for running) and I love them. The WW860, however, are a complete disappointment. I had hoped to wear them as everyday/walking shoes, but after just one day of wear, I developed pain in my heal and arch, as if the arch support was hitting in the wrong place. This has recurred every time I've worn the WW860. I'm seriously considering retiring them or finding them a new home. They look great, but are just too uncomfortable to get a good review. New Balance: please make a better walking shoe comparable to the quality of the WR860!

This shoe seemed cheap and felt narrower than the D width which was ordered. I returned them.

These are great shoes. They are very comfortable right out of the box. They provide great support, while being flexible and light weight. I highly recommend New Balance for all athletic activities!
