As someone who loves the Vibram Five Fingers barefoot running shoes, the Climacool is a nice balance between the flexibility of a "barefoot" shoe, with a little more substance. I usually wear them kickboxing as your foot can easily do full rotations and the sole flexes to allow much more movement than a traditional shoe. Also, can't beat the price. I only gave the comfort level 3 stars as this shoe really has minimal cushioning. I love it, but probably not for someone who likes a more "solid" shoe.

I really like these shoes. I bought the hot pink color, which is a tad bright for me, but so girlie. They are comfortable and super duper light. They are very airy and a pleasure to wear. I use them for some running and gym weight lifting. I bought half a size down which was a good choice.

Simply put: you need these shoes. I was debating on this purchase for a while and have never owned a pair of Adidas before. I was beyond pleasantly surprised, the amount of flexibility and lightness basically blew my mind the first time I put them on. Be careful when ordering your size, make sure to order a half to full size smaller to what you normally wear. Yet overall: great shoe. PS I order here vs. Adidas.com because of the great shipping (both cost and speed).

Worst running shoe ever. I have worn (and sworn by) Adidas running shoes for almost 10 years. I've tried other brands (Avia, Saucony, Brooks, Mizuno) and always came back to an Adidas trail runner. But since I've recently transitioned to minimalist/barefoot running and use a pair of Merrell barefoot shoes, I needed something to wear while I'm building up strength in my feet and legs with those. I tried on the Reebok and Nike versions of this shoe but they were basically the same as all the other high profiles (large drop between heel and ball or foot) with different aesthetics. I experienced the following issues: 1) Tongue will not stay in place - I don't know why running shoes don't come with a standard "built-in" tongue (I remember a lot of Mizuno shoes having this feature). Had to stop every .25mi to adjust it. 2) Laces are cheap and do not stay tied, even with double knots. They are made of some cheap, slippery nylon, and while I could replace them, the shoe should come with decent laces to begin with. These would also be re-tied at the same frequency as the tongue adjustment. 3) Shoe is not contoured well and does not hug the foot, as a minimalist shoe should to provide some level of peroneal support. I have average-width feet and never have problems with shoes fitting me in that regard. This issue causes the foot to slip around when running on uneven surfaces (which can lead to injuries, like peroneal tendinitis and plantar fasciitis). 4) The "breathable mesh upper" (or whatever they call it) is some sort of "plastic-y" and cheap overlay. It's hard to explain but it creates a strange vibration when it rubs against itself while running. I equate this annoyance to something like a mysterious rattle in your car that you can't find or stop. Ugh. 5) The only positive I can provide is that the sole is flexible, as expected. I tried to be open-minded after my initial disappointment and put in a 2.5-month break-in period, and I pretty much just want to throw them in the garbage now.

This was a super awesome shoe. For 6 weeks. It was stylish and very comfortable. But after 6 weeks, it got a hole near the sole. I was so disappointed! I loved these shoes until they got this hole.

I love this shoe. Love, love, love. love how light weight they are. Love the turbo color. Love that they are the shoes. I wear when all my casual shoes keep giving me blisters. Love running in them.

After reading several reviews that these run big. I decided to get a 7, unfortunately those were sold out. So I ended up ordered a 7½ hoping that they would fit. Normally, I wear an 8. Sadly, they were too big and had to send them back. That was a pity because they are comfortable and are sharp looking sneakers. Oh well, the search continues...

Comfy shoe, slightly narrower than expected, true to size otherwise. I returned it because I decided I wanted a more feminine color than black with a turquoise sole, especially with shorts when spring comes.

This shoe is a welcome departure from the heavy running shoes that I've rifled through lately. I highly recommend these for the sheer fact that you can barely tell you are wearing shoes. The lightness adds freedom to my run.

I love these shoes. They are comfortable and lightweight. Don't be worried about how white these shoes are, they are totally washable (just don't put them in the dryer). I would recommend some insoles if you have any sort of issues with your feet. When I wear these shoes running, I use an insole, but on day to day use or even for hiking I use the regular insoles because they breath better.

Super comfortable! I have a hard time finding shoes that don't hurt my feet because of my flat feet. I can wear these all day, they are so comfortable. Going to buy some more in different colors!

I purchased these shoes for the express purpose of wearing them on trips. I'm tired of my heavy (motion control) and hot shoes when I just need comfortable shoes for traveling, either by plane or auto. These shoes are wonderfully light and cool, plus I love the color purple. I normally wear a size 13 narrow in running shoes but the 12 medium fit just fine although I don't do any running in them. I did add an additional thin insole to provide some additional support and cushion. My only complaint about them is the shoelaces do not stay tied very well. The fabric seems a bit slippery.

I have small but wide feet. I thought the generous sizing would be a good thing, but Wow, these run big. Order a full size up -- at least. I wear between a 5.5 and 6. First, I ordered a 5.5. Way too big. I ordered a 5. Still big. I'd have to wear really thick socks. I wanted to wear these without socks. I didn't like how they made my feet look big. On a positive note, the black color looks really cool. Like something Batman would wear.

I really like these shoes. I just wore them on a trip to Boston and walked all day and night, with no problems! It really feels like you are barefoot as they are very roomy in the toe area. However, if you are doing a great deal of jumping or anything else where there is much pressure to the ball of the foot, and you are used to more support than this, your feet will hurt. I wore these to one session with my trainer, who has me doing a lot of jump rope and jump squats, and I will not do it again as the ball of my feet felt almost bruised afterwards.

I bought these because I was looking for a lower profile athletic shoe to wear for dance aerobics classes and cardio machines at the gym -- you know, one that doesn't look like a moon boot. I actually thought the body of these was purple, but it's black. I was happy about that. They are comfortable, but take some getting used to. The breathable upper is extremely flexible, meaning it doesn't offer much in the way of support. I have been using them with custom orthotics as well as the insoles they came with, so I get some extra cushion. Without the orthotics, you're pretty close to the earth in a way that might freak me out. The zig zag soles are cute and give a lot of really easy flex. Only problem with the soles is if you walk in gravel, you're taking it all inside with you.

Great shoes – very light and they keep your feet cool. They run big so don't order a size up. My true size gave me plenty of toe room to run.

I purchased this in my usual 7 running shoe size and it was too big. I exchanged it for a 6.5, which fits better and is comfortable. It's a very roomy shoe that allows for a thicker sock, as opposed to the Nike Free Runs I normally wear (in size 7, with an ultra thin sock, and it's very snug). I've only run a few miles in these, but so far they are very comfortable. Need to log a few more miles before I decide if I'd purchase another pair.

I liked this shoe & it fit, but it just was not comfortable. For the price, I want to love my shoe. And this was okay, but I didn't love it. It didn't seem to have a lot of support.

In the picture, the shoes clearly look dark gray and blue, but in reality they are black and blue. Kind of disappointing. As far as the actual shoes go, I'd say they are okay. Really thin material, kind of feel cheap for the price. I don't notice extra breath-ability yet. The shoes aren't as sturdy or well made as I'd like. I also had to order 1 full size smaller than typical.

This has a very flexible sole, and there is no stiffness at all, which I like. Its also a lightweight shoe, and that is also nice. It seems rather wide especially in the front, so even with laces I couldn't get them to fit. And the heel isn't particularly padded.

Don't let the picture fool you these sneakers are traffic cone orange. I love them! Super comfortable, very flexible. I returned a different brand, because they had very little padding, but these are perfect. I put about 5 miles on them per day. Highly recommend them.
