This is absolutely excellent! It is the most versatile, best organized backpack on the market, period. It fits a 15" MacBook Pro on either side of the inner compartment. It fits a change of clothes, a large DSLR (lens separate), a pair of sandals, iPad, Neutrogena SP75, water, energy bars, keys, iPhone (on strap pocket for easy access), wallet (other strap pocket), and there is still more room if one unzips the extension. The fit and finish are great as well, yellow is my favorite for visibility; I have seen it in silver and it looks nice as well. The other commuter series, the Metron, is nice as well, but this has by far more pockets and higher versatility. You cannot go wrong with this one if hauling stuff on airplane trips, commuter biking (like I do), or just intra-city MUNI. It is also warranted for life! Osprey, you rock!

Bought this for a 3 week trip to Greece, Croatia and Italy. Light, comfortable, roomy, and has lots of specialized compartments. Cell phone pocket on the front strap was a perfect place. Walked up to 9 hours a day in total comfort. This will go with me on every trip from now on.

A great pack for my 12 mile Bike commute. It holds things secure and steady while being comfortable and lightweight. Only issue, the waist strap is pretty much useless. The shoulder/chest straps and so good I haven't needed to use the waist strap. I can load my iPad and Kindle plus charger, work clothes, and toilet kit perfectly.

This pack is great, really well built, and you get what you pay for, and for the price I was expecting good quality, this is my first pack from Osprey, I couldn't be happier. Buy this pack, you wont regret it. Plus with Ospreys warranty for a lifetime of repair, this pack will last as long as you do. I bought this pack to use for daily commuting by bike in the summer, so it needed to be big enough to store my books, laptop for class, and an extra set of clothes for the gym, or ride home. It does it all, if you manage your space you can really get a lot into this pack. In addition I also used it for a couple day hike trips, and out on the lake, it held up like a champ, used the hip belt a little and it helps keep the pack snug. I gave the pack a four star for comfort, only because of this, I loaded the pack a little heavy, 35lbs, which is a bit outside of its carrying capacity according to the scale on Osprey's site, and took it for about a mile walk just through town. Without the aid of a decent hip belt the weight became pretty uncomfortable, but that's a lot of weight for a this pack, the back panel gets hot against your back also, wish it had the ventilation system that some of their day packs have. I also was anticipating a trip to Peru, and thought it would make a great carry on bag, which after measuring it in person, it would be perfect with room to spare, especially since the straps all can be zipped away. Pros: Compressible/expandable, this is great for when I decide to use the pack for hiking or out door use and don't need as much space (for books and laptops etc.). Rain fly compresses nicely stays out of the way, haven't tested it yet, but have no doubt it will work well, the material that the pack is made out of is nearly water resistant enough. "U-Lock" pocket is great for large water bottles, and other misc. items. I used this pocket for my 48 oz nalgene, it's perfect. Lidloc works excellent. Lots of pockets that fit all my gadgets, and tools. The biggest feature that I was most surprised by was the side handle, I use it all the time for throwing my pack around or getting it in and out of the car. Cons: There isn't anything bad about this pack, only things that I would like to have on it or think they could improve upon. Hip belt is useless in my opinion, could do with out it. Cellphone pocket wont store my phone without pushing buttons on it but that's just specific to my phone, they advertise that it can hold an iPhone, and I have my doubts about that, also when you store a phone that's rigid like that in a shoulder strap that bends it kind of got uncomfortable and I don't know how much I like it (however, the key pocket is perfect). Water bottle pockets are pretty small, fit small water bottles maybe, I forget these pockets are even there because I never use them. I feel like there are too many straps and belts, maybe because I don't use the hip belt and it just gets in the way. Would like to see an addition in one of the three different openings that were created for an hydration bladder? There is a place to zip your straps into, you could put one there if you wanted, or in the laptop section. If you get creative, you can make it work though.

Blows away my TNF box shot. Better shoulder pads that can be tucked away (use top/side handles); shell better than most; water bottle can be held in the front pocket; 2 organizer pockets for books/files/computer; no dangling hip belt because can tuck away if not in use; tucked away raincover...I can go on. Great computer or weekend pack. Love it. Make sure to size as would larger packs, i.e, if your med/large in larger packs...size is same here. Larger size means larger/longer back panel.

This bag is great! I used it for a 15 day trip traveling across different parts of China. The shoulder straps were pretty comfortable even after walking around for an entire day. It had more than enough room for the clothes that I brought and the souvenirs that I brought back. All of the organization was really helpful in making necessary items easily accessible. I'll probably use it periodically for work now since it has a laptop compartment and plenty of room for books/lunch/whatever other random stuff I can think of. This will for sure be my default travel bag now though.

This is the ultimate travel backpack. You will want to keep your other backpacks around as spares, but for important travel trips where you need to travel light under various scenarios or weather situations, this is all you need to bring. Very good quality.

Best backpack I have owned. I own more bags than your average woman (I'm a guy) and I really love this thing.. I use it as a commuter as well as a daily bag. This thing expands to have plenty of storage for a change of clothes. Has all the room i need to take my Laptop 15" MacBook Pro, iPad, notebooks etc. Very good buy. Easily worth twice the price!

I bought this for my son (high school) who lugs a lot of books around. Pros: Comfortable, roomy, thoughtful construction, and built in rain shield, - when it rains during school sports practice - I'm hoping he can keep his computer and books dry. Cons: the zipper on the main compartment could be just a little longer fort better access. Not certain how it will wear at the bottom, as kids tend to drag their packs on the floor a bit.

This is a great commuting bag. Osprey clearly did their homework, designing a super functional bag for bike commuters. The small/medium is a good fit for me (5'9"). The expandability feature is helpful when carrying oversized loads. I love the light attachment near the bottom of the pack. I carry heavy loads and this pack does a great job of dispersing the weight, keeping everything comfortable. I sweat a bit but I sweat a lot. A very fine choice for an avid bike commuter looking for a functional bag to help carry the load.
