I agree with the other reviewers that the fit around the waistline was loose. After running ~3 miles the skirt stayed up just fine (sweat?). I will keep the skirt but will also continue looking for that "perfect" fit.

This was a cute skort and the price was right, but it ran extremely small so I returned it.

Very comfortable and nice, but the shorts underneath are very long--if you don't hike them up, they show below the skirt!

I ordered this longer version of another Skirt Sports skort that I wear for tennis. This was primarily for wearing on a trip combining hiking and sightseeing. This has the same major irritating problem as the other one: I am constantly pulling it up. Don't know if that's because it's supposed to be "mid-rise" (which I imagine a lot of older women hate) or if it's just my body -- but I wish with all my heart they would make a skort that stays in place. I got a Patagonia skort for the same trip and it's wonderfully comfortable -- except that the shorts are too flimsy and tend to ride up into my crotch. If Skirt Sports made a skort that was truly comfortable for a very imperfect mature body, or if Patagonia put Skirt Sports-type shorts under their skort -- I'd buy about five and probably not bother ever buying actual shorts. But as it is ... both styles are an uncomfortable compromise.

I received this item today. I am 5'6" tall and wear a 6-8 or medium. The length was just a bit too short for me. I am 50 and thought that it would hit me about an inch or so longer. The shorts are very comfortable however the skirt waist is not very comfortable and not very flattering as other skorts that I own. It is a thin elastic band not as shown in the picture or it is a bit deceiving looking. I am returning this one but also ordered a dress by the same company and love it. If the waist were different I would be keeping this item.

I'm 5'5" and 135# and the M was too snug around the tummy. Also, the leggings are longer than the skirt. The skirt material was flimsy. Very disappointed. I expected something much cuter and more sturdy.

thought the material was not thick enough- front is kind of floaty- there are much better skirts out there

I ordered the persevere (black and white one) and while the style was great the shorts were itchy. It felt like polyester with no air flow.

I wanted to love this. I am med/large so ordered large to be comfortable on vacation. The waist was a little tight, but the shorts underneath were VERY tight and my legs are not huge. So disappointed bc its really cute and lightweight. Returning.

I loved the extra length of the attached shorts. However, the material of the longer skirt added to the weight of the skort. It also felt loose/larger after just one wash. I could not bear it after just 10 minutes of running. It is a painful waste of money. I would not recommend it for running or speed walking. I am not sure that I will even chance it on an elliptical. I will demote it to just post-gym grocery shopping.
