Like others stated, comfort right out of the box. I found sizing runs a 1/2 size small. I tried the Teva Tirra first, but there is a design on the footbed that is uncomfortable. I was pleased with this sandal it is only lines rather than etched in. Plus the footbed has a lot of cushion my body appreciates. The Tirra has a nice curve where the arch is; however, these Neota have the same arch, so there is no difference there. I had a smaller pair of Tevas I outgrew, but the sandal still looked like new it held up so well. I was able to pass it onto someone my old shoe size. I hope these sandals hold up as well! I have found Teva's to be my favorite sandal when I have a lot of walking to do. The Neota I know is to be my new favorite!

These are very comfortable and adjustable. But, in the dark brown color they are not very attractive. Am keeping because I need a functional water sandal but would not necessarily buy again

The toe strap area just couldn't be made comfortable. Not sure if it was because of the split in the neoprene as you opened up / widened the width or what.

I liked the design but the front ankle strap wasn't comfortable when adjusted to fit. One of my feet swells sometimes and this strap was too short to adjust enough. Footbed was OK, but my didn't help with my peripheral neuropathy from chemo in my feet.

I have several pairs of Tevas but these were too tight across the toe. I have 3 pairs of Tevas that are adjustable on toe and across the top of my foot and I love them. These get high marks for style and I'm sad they were not comfortable for me. I have difficulty finding shoes to fit and with wide feet, high archs, and narrow heels - shoe shopping is always a challenge. Which is one reason I love Zappos! No running from store to store.

Am returning them for a couple of reasons: They are pretty hot, compared to my old teas and the ankle and heel straps are thin and not padded. Just not comfortable enough. Look nice and not too casual, though.

Loved the overall feel of this shoe, however had to return because the heel felt too low on my foot. Seemed to set me back on my feet.

This shoe is really nice, looks good, but the fit is a little off for me. The arch support bothers me, I shouldn't always be aware of it pressing. Also, the strap over the toe area should be closer to the front. It leaves a great deal of toe showing, I feel as if my toes could flap out at any time. (but the shoe is the correct size) I'm going to return it.

The straps crisscross too far below the toes, and not much was holding my feet secure to the foot bed. For example, it felt like the foot bed would easily catch on something as there wasn't enough strap to hold toes secure to the foot bed, and I would wind up scrapping my toes. I am returning them.

Very comfortable but the ankle strap separated from the velcro after 2 hours of wear. I would not expect that of this pair of sandals; I will exchange them and try again.

I was so excited to receive these sandals - I had similar Tevas from years ago, and they had worn out. Well... No, not really good. Much less anatomical footbed, the straps are thinner and there's a neoprene liner in the front that is ok but interferes with tightening of the front strap, and also I have a bunion, so this liner make it more ovbious because there's a big gap where my toe veers off. No. I returned them and now am looking either for the more original type (which I think is not going to happen because Teva seems to be targeting 20 somethings more with huge platforms). *sigh*. I'll look at Chaco and some others.

This sandal was much clunkier than my previous pair of Tevas. The sole is very thick/not very flexible, which is not ideal for hopping around on rocky beaches (which is what I bought them for). Returning for the Teva Zirra, which is much lower-profile and much more flexible.

These are very cute as far as this type of shoe goes. I like the adjustable bands on toe ankle and heel. However, the toe box which is rounded (which I also like) is cut a bit short on the outside causing my little toe to hand over. Very disappointing.

Have purchased 3 pairs of these in past years but Teva decided to skimp on the ankle strap this year. I have a high arch and the strap is much shorter and barely attaches to the Velcro.

Wore these shoes for a full day at Disneyland. They were comfortable but not as supportive for my foot as I had hoped. The only problem was that the Velcro and strap separated. Didn't cause problems with performance but was a little disappointed.

I have worn Teva sandals for over 15 years. These sandals are not adjustable except across the top of the foot. pre-formed neoprene across toes and at heels prevents custom adjustments. Arch support is minimal unlike Terra Fi, and previous styles. Have to return this item.

I wanted to love these shoes. I've been purchasing Tevas for about 15 years. I truly would live in them year-round, except it's a bit cold, even in Southern California. They are the ugliest shoes I own. I wore them on a trip to Great Britain. Fortunately I found that most women my age in Great Britain wear sensible shoes. My Tevas did not stand out as an unfortunate fashion statement. I purchased the Beluga color, a sort of washed-out black. They look worse in person than they do in the photo. On the bright side, they are fully adjustable, the foot bed is comfortable, and I am able to walk in them with ease. everything about them is just fine until I look at them. Then I wish I had never put them on my feet. I kept them. but I continued to wear my much-older and nicer looking Tevas, even though they are on their last legs, so to speak.

This is the second pair of these that I ordered. The first I bought more than a year ago; the strap broke last week so I brought them to a shoemaker to get fixed because they are truly great for walking and I generally walk 4-5 miles a day. The newest pair, however, is not quite as comfortable. There seems to be a slight crease in the foot-pad which gave me a blister the first time I wore them. I am hoping that the crease will flatten out a bit and they will be as comfortable as the first pair.

This shoe felt way too big, both in length and width and barely had medium arch support.

Sadly, I needed to return these sandals. The ankle strap is too thin for the weight of the foot bed and so the strap digs into my ankle.

Very lightweight and flimsy with no arch support. The tirra is much more comfortable and sturdy. These are going back.

After wearing this shoe a few times, it stretched and does not support walking. The bottom is very soft and comfortable, it does not lend to long walking, it is too large.

Heartbroken. Trying to replace a beloved old pair of brown leather Tevas. All I can say is, when shopping, don't forget to "click to zoom" and take a good look at the "leather". It looks so plastic in the flesh. The sandals are comfortable out of the box but I can't bring myself to wear these fake looking Teva's in public - gotta return.

I love these shoes immediately. My previous Teva sandals were good but heavy. These are much lighter and so comfortable I have worn them for all my travels. BUT, the foot beds in both shoes are now falling apart from heel to toe! For the price, I expected a much more substantial shoe.

I have worn Teva sandals for at least 15 years and have always loved them for travel in Italy and long days of walking in the hilltowns and cities. They offered lots of support but were still stylish for casual wear. I have been disappointed in the comfort and look of the newer styles, the fit and support for the past several years. Myfavorite leather one is no longer offered and I cannot find one that matches its comfort and style. I keep trying because I have loved them so much in the past, but, they just are not what they used to me for me.
