I can walk for miles in these shoes! It's a great city shoe. I chose black leather because they are a bit 'dressier' than the fabric ones. This is my second pair of Teva Tirra's. I highly recommend them for anyone who does a lot of walking.

I love these sandals. I've been looking for years for a comfortable pair of sandals that could hold up on short hikes, long dog walks and playground runs, and yet look decent with a casual skirt. I need a great arch support since I can't wear orthotics with sandals. Finally, these fit the bill, in all areas! I've walked miles in them and there was no break-in period at all. Zappos service rocks, too.

I really like these shoes. They are sturdy and comfortable and have a good amount of cushion. I have plantar fasciitis, and while these shoes aren't a cure-all, I can wear them all day. The ankle strap is a bit stiff, but they'll probably break in over time.

Teva is the best all around sandal for me. Fit, simplicity and adjustable straps. Great for walking!

I got these in 6.5 (my usual size) and they felt true to size. Very comfortable and provide all the support I need during my long power walks. A nice alternative to wearing sneakers, and not as clunky looking as Keen sandals. The only criticism I have is the top ankle strap doesn't lay flat like they show it in the picture. That was not a deal-breaker for me.

I bought these when I was 7 months pregnant and Teva was recommended to me by my prenatal chiropractor since I am unable to wear any close-toed shoes due to swelling, but still needed supportive walking shoes. These are incredibly light and feel great. The main plus are the Velcro straps on the top part of the foot so you can adjust along with your swelling. I'm now almost 9 months pregnant and my ankles hurt too much to have any straps on them, but I look forward to wearing these again after the baby is born.

Great comfy sandal! Little better looking (sleeker) than Teva Neota. However, less footbed cushion, and less arch support. Unfortunately I have to return this item because the back strap sit little too low for me. It feels like it's going to come off (I know it won't but it fees like it). Other than that, this is a great casual outdoor sandal. Not for date or dressy use!

If you've got a wide foot, as I do, these are terrific. I now have them in two colors. It's hard to find a fully adjustable walking sandal where the toe are is totally adjustable, too. They have a rigid enough sole for cobblestone streets when I'm in cities, as well as the ruggedness needed for country walking. They feel as good as my Chacos but look better because the sole isn't black.

I love these sandals - I could walk forever in them. Free shipping both ways was a bonus for me. I had to return a pair for size, and they upgraded the shipping method for the second pair to the fastest way. Thank you, Zappos!

Great shoe. I have a long, narrow foot (11) and have difficulty getting a good fit. The velcro straps allow good adjustment, comfortable out of the box.

These are great! I love the fact that these sandals can get wet & be in the water. They fit perfectly & very comfortable.

Absolutely the most comfortable sandal I own. Last year I wore the Teva Pretty Rugged Leather. It was extremely comfortable except the arch. I need a higher arch which the Teva Tirra has. My feet feel great in these sandals even after a full day of walking and standing. I have very sensitive feet so that is saying a lot. I love ordering from Zappos. Their service is amazing.

Absolutely love these! I wore them brand new out of the box for vacation and they were super comfortable...like old friends. I have plantar fasciitis and I found the arch support and cushiness to be perfect. This is my second pair of Teva's. I really like the leather footbed in these. I ordered the Tirra non-leather at the same time, but returned them in favor of these. I forgot about the leather footbed, and got them a little wet in the ocean. No problem. I wouldn't risk getting them overly wet, but so far they seem to be a tough but comfortable shoe! Zappos service was incredible as usual! Thank you Zappos!

I compared these against Teva Kokomo, Teva Tirra (non-leather), Keen Naples, and Merrell Dahlia. These were a close second (I chose the Tirra non-leather). They are comfortable with great support - but the straps weren't quite as supple as the non-leather straps on the other Tirras.

The Tirra provides a lot of support for the feet and so they help support the lower back. My only complaint it that they rub on the top of my feet. I have to use a bandaid because some of the threads are plastic and they scratch. The arch support is great.

Spent 3 days walking around downtown Chicago wearing Teva Tirra sandals. I have high arches & a high instep. No problems at all with sandals. So comfortable I bought another pair.

Absolutely adorable, except that I wish they'd made the soles the same color as the shoes instead of black. Multiple velcro closures allow for a perfect fit. Unfortunately, the soles of these shoes are very stiff -- there's very little flexibility in the forefoot. The inflexible forefoot makes these sandals inappropriate for city walking, which is what I wanted them for. So sadly, I have to send them back.

Reviewed at Teva
I had not bought Teva sandals for a long time, after a pair I bought several years ago cut into my toes in the forefoot. But I liked the looks of these, and especially the adjustability with the three adjustable straps and the arch support. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so my toes and arches are kinda "funny" and difficult for fitting shoes. I found these immediately comfortable, and have been able to wear them for many hours, adjusting the straps as needed during the day.

I've been wearing Teva Tirra's for over two years now due to Morton's Neuroma. The leather is such a nice update as the leather has a microfiber footbed, which is particularly nice for house shoes. These are now my "slippers"! Please keep this style going!!

I walked six miles a day in N.Y.C. with these shoes on straight out of the box. I have a terrible time finding shoes to fit my wide foot. These are my second pair.

Love these shoes! I got them because I was moving to Chicago, where I would be without a car and mostly walking. They are worth their weight in gold! No breaking in necessary, light weight, great arch support. Perfect for walking hard, city streets.

This is a very comfortable sandal right out of the box. I have really high arches and this sandal has awesome support. They are really cute on your feet and very light. A good hiking sandal as well.

I really like the Teva Sandals. This is my second pair. The shoes are very comfortable, and have good arch support. I have a wide foot so they are perfect for my feet. These are very versatile shoes. I have worn them in the rain, on hikes, in the creek, at the flea markets and to meetings. They clean up beautifully and look nice. The only problem I have noticed is they begin to smell after a couple of days wear. I just wash the foot bed or use a little powder and they are good to go. Hope this review helps you.

I initially purchased the Merrell Honeysuckle sandals because I am about to go on a cruise and I wanted super comfortable sandals but that still look cute enough to wear with summer dresses. When I got the Merrell sandals, they were far too narrow so I exchanged them for these Teva Tirra Leather ones. I was hesitant because there is no wide width choice but when I got them, they fit perfectly! And I have very wide feet! They have adjustable straps for the width and they are so so comfortable! I cannot wait to wear them on my long walks during my cruise vacation. I wear 8½ and I got the 9 and they fit great!
