I wear these sandals everyday in the spring and summer. I just got a new pair because my last pair fell apart after years of abuse. The hurricane xlt is great for all activities including hanging out at the house, floating the river, hiking, and shopping all day. No matter what i'm doing my feet feel good and the hazel/black pattern looks great!

I have worn these sandals out, hiking, wading through both fresh and salt water, mucking in the garden, at weddings, at funerals, on the plane, train , and boat! I love them, Amazing that the Velcro died but the "umph" in foot and arch support is still there! I could replace the Velcro but the soles will not accept shoe glue permanently so after 17 years I am due a new pair! I rate these sandals a 17 for all the years they have stood with me!

I walked in them all day and my feet did not hurt once. The support is very good. Thank you!

I was looking for a comfortable, rugged sandal that I could use for my daily walks and hiking that could handle getting wet. This sandal is close to perfect. I wear a 7-8. I ordered a 6 and 7 based on reviews saying they ran large. The 7 was a better fit for me. The only thing I would change is the strapping. The Chaco strapping is more comfortable- not as stiff and scratchy. Granted it does not have the Velcro but I wish the Teva straps could be less abrasive. The average person should not have any issues though (I do have some foot isssues). I am so glad the hurricane is still around. It was well worth the $$.

This is my second pair of XLT's. I am usually a women's 10.5 / 11 in 'regular' shoes. A size 10 fits perfectly. Great traction and very secure and supportive.

I bought these for a trip to Costa Rica, and broke them in over 24 hours of travel and navigating airports-- no blisters or sore spots. They were super comfortable, and did not disappoint. Whether exploring the city or white water rafting, these shoes provided support and grip. Great purchase!

My original pair of Tevas are still useful after at least 8 years (can't even remember when I bought them), but they don't look as pretty as my new ones! The velcro doesn't stick as well as when they were new. The new ones are a great color and I feel fashionable again!

I wear them everywhere so comfortable.

Loved this teva- Seemed to give more support than my previous teva. Perhaps I may wore the previous pair too long.

I love Teva sandals! I wear these when I'm hiking, and I appreciate the great arch support, excellent tread, and durability.

They are just what I wanted for working in the garden and walking in our fields. I can't find much of anything in size 5 in the retail stores, so I'm very happy they have a good selection in size five.

I am a size 9 1/2 and ordered the size 9 and it fit perfectly. I love that the straps are adjustable and the foot bed is so comfortable and has great support. I wore Chacos previously, and they would rub my toes if I wore them for a long time. I recently wore my Tevas white water rafting all day and they were perfect; I had no blisters or rubbing at all. They do dry a little bit slower than chacos, but still a great water shoe!

I find this sandal is good for me foot. It spreads my toes nicely. Is adequate arch support and decent footbed cushioning. Is great for walking on rough grassy areas. Makes them smooth and safe. Is a fine summer sandal but sporty in style. Can custom adjust many areas with the straps. I wish it came in a true Navy color so I could buy another pair. I have walnut but don't want the other colors. I also wish to have that shoe bed in a winter style and wish Teva could design something closed for the cold weather with that support. Then let us know it is the winter XLT Hurricane. And of course have it in Navy and Brown.

I had been interested in Tevas for a while, as I felt that my Chacos were just too big and not nearly as cute. This is not to hate on Chacos, but I ordered these and immediately fell in love. Not only did they look significantly cuter, but they are soooooo comfy and light-weight. It did take me a little bit to get used to the support the shoe has, but overall I fell in love. Plus, these are way more cost-friendly than many other shoes. I love.
