I don't know why many stores are preferring to sell Chacos. I've worn Tevas on many hikes. I've hiked many miles on the Appalachian Trail with them. I get more than my money's worth. They're also good to my bunions. I just love Teva.

I love these sandals. Have worn them for years and haven't found any I like better. Just wore them camping in the pouring rain and they were comfortable even soaking wet. Love them! More colors would be great.

I bought these for my daughter. She was looking for something lightweight. She tried a few styles without success when I saw these. She loves these. They are true to size, the black hazel print is very pretty, and there are three adjustable straps to get a perfect fit. They look very cute on her. They are great overall sandals. Thanks again to Zappos for their great service.

I returned to an old favorite. Tried several different style/make of sandals and always some fit problem. Last pair of Teva Tirra's cut into ankle that I still have scar from. Tried this style that I wore years ago and, WOW, just perfect from the time I put them on. You can adjust toe heel and ankle area to fit. I put one/two fingers under ankle strap to allow space and these are good ALL DAY LONG! The "Celtic" Brown is NOT really brown but more of a wine/tan color, very becoming. Footbed is smooth and good arch support, bottom is non skid. Guess sometimes you just need to try updated styles from beginning of Teva. This is indeed good right out of the box. I wear an 8 in Hiking shoe, but 7 in sandal and it fit perfectly, no leftover toe room to trip up when walking. Now I'm thinking of getting another color, but really pleased with this one.

Comfortable to wear right out of the box. I like that you can "size" width of foot with the Velcro straps at toes and ankle area. I have a somewhat narrow foot and this makes the fit just right. The shoe provides good support with my history of plantar fasciitis. This is a great replacement for flip flops for those women with "foot issues." As always, Zappos is a great company to deal with!

I have had my Teva's now since about 1996 and I have used them every year! They are great! I sometimes think that maybe I should buy a new pair, but why? They are still going strong. Love them!! We have lived in USA, Europe, Asia and they have been everywhere, land and sea. My go-to shoes when I need comfort and durability. (I think I will get a new pair just because I loved these.)

I believe this Hurricane is the same Teva model I bought in 2004 (the zoomed in construction and details look the same). And am just now replacing 10 years later. Very rugged and dependable. Why I love these & what you cant see is that the straps are a complete loop through the inside of the sole (not a cheaper construction of tabbed in and glued in-between the sole slabs). I learned this when I was wading through a river-crossing in Belize with my 3 year old son riding on my shoulders and the sole of my Tevas (finally after 10 years of water and rugged wear) came apart. To my absolute delight, despite the bottom half of the sole coming off, the shoe & straps stayed intact throughout the rest of the day's jungle & river adventures -- saving my feet (I didn't have an extra pair of shoes with me) and my ability to carry my son safely through the rocky stream on my shoulders. So happy to find and replace my Tried & True Tevas!

My absolute favorite summer shoe! We go to the lake every weekend and it's the only shoe I take! Very easy to get on and off, dries quickly if it gets wet, and doesn't rub blisters because you can adjust the strap! I just ordered another pair, so I can have 1 pair at home and leave 1 pair at the lake. I'm definitely going to be ordering the other colors in this shoe! I have extremely flat feet, so Chacos have too steep on an arch for me...I have been searching for a shoe like the Chaco without the arch support and finally found it! My friends that are obsessed with Chacos switched to this shoe after they saw mine because they said it was more comfortable!

Love these sandals! I bought them to wear while gardening in our hilly yard, and I've been wearing them around the house to check them out. Their 3 way adjustable Velcro straps hold my feet securely, so I won't have to worry about my feet slipping around no matter how wet they get. The sole gives fantastic support. They're comfortable after hours of wearing them and I have arthritis and plantar fasciitis. I should order another pair while they're still available.

These are awesome! As somebody who suffers from cankles, I usually stray away from anything with an ankle strap. These are totally adjustable and have a wide sole. I'm not sure I would agree with reviews about how great they are for narrow feet since the bottom is so wide. They are, however, perfect for wide or extra wide feet and infinitely more comfortable than flip-flops. They take a little getting used to the first time you wear them since they have so much cushion and so many straps, but are well worth the price!

These are the most comfortable sandals! I was looking for a sandal with support a few years ago, and found these at the local sporting goods store. You can customize the fit with the velcro adjustable straps so you get fit perfection! Unfortunately, our new puppy got a hold of one of them and although she didn't actually tear off anything, the straps were raggedy enough so that I didn't want to wear them except for around the house. I bought these new ones and they are terrific and continue to be the most comfortable sandals I've ever owned. Thank you Teva and Zappos for your continued excellent service!

First, I have "bad" feet and have tried many walking shoes including MBTs. A bike builder in his blog suggested that folks ride with these Tevas, and when the weather gets colder, just put on warmer socks. We decided to try them for both riding and walking relatively long distances. We ride and walk a lot! Unbelievable! These Tevas are great biking shoes (not in toe clips; however, they do not slip off the pedals) and even for walking. They work better for me than New Balance, Asics,etc. I have tried them all! I wear them all the time except when it is icy and snowy. People have got to try these!

I bought a pair of Tevas probably 12 years ago. I wore them every summer and took them on the most enduring hiking/camping trips. A couple of years ago one of the triangular plastic clasps in the front broke, but I continued wearing them using wire from a metal paperclip to secure the straps. On the last trip, this summer, I wore them through three rocky mountain passes, hiked through rain and mud up to my ankles, crossed dozens of mountain rivers and walked a total of 100 kilometers with a heavy backpack. After all of this I finally had to retire them as chunks of the sole started to peel off. I see that they make them differently now, but am buying Tevas again, in hope the new model is equally sturdy and versatile.

Ordered them for walking Italy and wore them most of the time without incident. Very comfortable right out of the box.

Ordered these sandals for a two week trip to Malta, Sicily and Italy. I knew that I would be on my feet most of each day and that the terrain would vary from day to day. These sandals were awesome! I felt like I was walking on pillows! I also wore these on the days we were flying - easy on and off for security in the airports. I have found that I am wearing these after returning home. These sandals may replace my Fit-Flops for daily wear.

Fits well (glad for the half size). I have high arches and have no problem with the cross straps. There is a feature that is new to me (I've owned a series of Teva sandals). The hook & loop strap behind the ankle. It's bulky and stiff and does not provide much, if any, benefit. I'd prefer the original basic strap behind the ankle.

Supremely comfy! I've worn them when I've been on my feet all day or done lots of walking. My feet still feel fine at the end of the day! And that is not usually the case!

Most comfortable shoe of this type I've ever found. Lightweight but rugged, excellent support, good for hiking the trails or wading in the surf, or just hanging around the house. I also like that Zappos always has my size in stock (35 European), ships VERY quickly, and FREE both ways.

Zappos' free shipping to and fro makes me a fan. I love my Tevas' fit, style, & price. Dealing with Zappos is ideal. I'll check Zappos for other needs as well!
