I wear my Teva Hurricane XLTs pretty much everywhere but the opera! That includes work, walking in town and on the trail, and to church, where they're just as stylish as any basic sandal could possibly be. I love them! This is my second pair (the first pair lasted through several years of much use and I never even considered replacing them with anything else). They look great, are easy to clean up if they get dirty (which they do, since I wear them in all kinds of places), are super-comfortable, and go with almost everything (except the above-mentioned fancy clothes one wears to the opera. I'm confident enough about the fit to order them online, something I don't do with other footwear. In my opinion, they are perfect!

I bought these for a sailing trip to the BVIs. But I've been wearing them non stop since I got them and I haven't been on vacation yet!

These are my very favorite footwear! Basic black Tevas work for pretty much any situation in which I find myself. They look stylish (I wear them everywhere except maybe the opera), they are super comfortable, they go with pretty much everything - skirts, jeans, dressier pants, shorts, etc. - and I just know that whatever else I'm wearing, my Tevas will look fine. I can walk long distances in them and be as comfortable at the end as at the beginning. This is my 3rd pair and the first 2 gave me 20 years of style and comfort. What else could I want? I never even considered another brand!

These are super comfy sandals. I wear them at work (I work in a school and am walking all day) and then at home as well. These sandals are exactly what I expected, I've had more pairs of Teva universal type sandals than I can remember. I currently have 8-9 pairs that I rotate through. Bought these to replace an old pair that are starting to wear out. I'm very pleased with my purchase. {:)

I've been wearing Teva sandals for around 15 or more years. They are the best! I wear them hiking, casually, and anywhere. I didn't need a new pair, but these were my favorite color (orange), so I added them to my collection and love them!

Great product & perfect replacement for my old worn out Tevas

Recent foot pain had me looking for sandals with good cushioning - and these fit the bill. Very comfortable right away, with good support. Got compliments the first time I put them on! I usually wear an 11 womens shoe, but went a size smaller for the sandals.

I wanted to replace my old Tevas, which had worn out after several years. All the sandals I found locally seemed flimsy to me. I like to walk in the woods and hike in my sandals. These are perfect - a strudy sole with good grip - and nice-looking.

I have always ordered the original style sandal in the past 15-20 years. They have always been great reliable and comfortable shoes. However I decided to try something different this time, and went with the Hurricane. They are incredibly comfortable with a nice arch support! I really like the look, I wear them just about every day. I expect they will last me a long time as in the past. Plus the cost is very affordable which is always a bonus. Thank You Teva for continuing to make such an excellent quality product for a great value!! :)

Please offer the Hurricane in light and dark blue.

Wear these on hikes through woods and streams in summer months. About 5 miles per day. Cannot speak on durability since I have only had a short time but Tevas they replaced lasted for MANY years. Love that when strapped tight stuff from trail does not get in and grip on wet rock when crossing river is good.

Great for casual wear. Last well.

Some review says to get half size smaller and I'm glad I did. It fits me perfectly from the day one. Stay comfortable even after 2-3 hours of walking. I must have this with me when I travel!

Being as I live in a very hot climate and hate having hot feet, I wear sandals everyday for about 7 months. These sandals are great for everyday wear. They are comfortable and provide the foot support that is sometimes is hard to find in a sandal.

I love the Hurricane XLT..have gotten several pairs over the years. I recently had foot surgery so my foot is still swollen a bit and this is the only shoe I can wear because it has adjustable straps. Very comfortable, good arch...I wear them everywhere.

Wear a lot - flexible

By far my favorite everyday pair of shoes. I've been wanting sandals from teva or chacos, and I must say tevas stole the show. Chacos were quite heavy and the straps did not adjust when it came to the width of the shoes, only the back of the heel. These chacos, I feel like I can control my comfort in straps and the sole material is just so cushiony and comfortable. Chacos were hard, chunky, and the worst part heavy (in comparison to the tevas). I want to buy more colors of the Hurricane XLTs. One con I actually have is wearing these to the beach. I felt like the black leather became a little gray after wearing them in the water at the beach. Maybe it had something to do with the salt. But I quickly rinsed and washed with plain soap to preserve the black look.

I wear them all the time. They are the only shoes I can wear that don't hurt my feet.

I LOVE my Tevas. They are fantastic. They fit well and I can wear them whenever and wherever. I think everyone should have a pair.
