Very comfortable Teva. After 11 years, my original pair finally needed replacing. While that is a tall order, and I honestly do not expect this pair to last THAT long, these have been able to take the abuse so far. I have taken them on a couple longer hikes of 12+ miles while carrying my 13 month old on my back, and did not have any problem with fatigue or blisters/chafing (.... on a side note I read reviews for these and noticed a person or two complained of this. I was a little nervous of this, but those people either had a lemon or have ultra-sensitive feet. These Toachi 2 have NEVER given me even the SLIGHTEST problem). The shorter hikes (still with the baby) / casual all-day uses have been extremely comfortable as well. I was concerned that moving from the older traditional style like the Hurricane / Terra Fi to this would irritate my feet, but they have transitioned perfectly. They have A LOT more cushioning in them than my older pair, and my feet do not get tired in them when wearing them all day. While this leads me to believe they might not last a full decade, my feet are definitely more comfortable in them. In two months they've chewed up the rocky Continental Divide, the smokey Appalachian Trail, and every environment in between. The only negative, (and this could a personal problem) is that my feet can sweat and stink if they're on all day long. Other than that, they seem to be perfect.

This is my second pair of Teva after the old one got so worn out. It is so much more comfortable and cuter than my old pair. It fits perfectly. It is much lighter and the straps are better. It has a better cushion than my old pair. Definitely a better version than the old ones I bought from many years ago. Its a great summer footwear.

I use the product all around. I wish they would bring back the Toachi with the toe guard. Best hiking shoe I've ever worn, but the Toachi with toe delaminated. Teve replaced it without question, but the toe was no longer available. I bought the Keen sandal and I like it, but it's bulkier, harder to get sand out of and isn't nearly as comfortable to walk in as the Toachi.

very confortable, good heel and arch support. i love the detachable ankle strap, making it easy on/off. Drainage system is a neat feature, works well in tidal pools.

These sandals are the best I have ever owned. I used them out of the box to hike in the rugged beachside cliff areas of Algrave, Southern Portugal. They are without a doubt one of the best pairs of footwear I have ever owned. I buy high end gear and I am very hard to please. I remarked more than once to my wife how great these babies were performing. So comfortable and secure I could run at full speed as well. Amazing.

I have been a R.N. for over 25 years standing up for long hours which has caused ankle and foot pain. This was the first sandal I could wear that did not cause any ankle or foot pain. I wear them every chance I can. I do wish there was a style that would go better with skorts or dressy pants. They are great for casual only. Love these shoes!

After many cheap sandals, 2-3 pairs of $100 sandals, I finally found these. I will wear these for a long long time. Thank you Teva.

I returned these only because I got my preferred color on a second order. I love these shoes. I have a rather high arch which never touches most of my shoes but now I see what other reviewers mean by great arch support.

I bought these for our trip to Maui, and they have exceeded my expectations. They are extremely comfortable, great to walk and run in. They provide excellent grip. I love the quick release strap, as it saves having to futz with the velcro adjustment each time I put the sandals on. They fit and stay on so well that often I don't even bother snapping the quick-release on.

One update to the Toachi 2 is the top strap that goes across your toe area. The Toachi 1 was one single strap. The Toachi 2 has a little gap in it close to the base of the big toe. For me personally, it's a bit of a problem due to a bunion on that foot. The edges of the gap bang into the bunion a little. It's like the bunion gets hung up in the gap. For me, the original strap was more comfortable. Maybe that will ease up with more wear.
One other change to the Toachi 2 is the toe area in the base of the shoe is less rounded; it's more oval or narrow. Again, it's just my personal opinion about liking the rounded look better. No big deal and definitely not a deal breaker.
Otherwise, it's an AWESOME sandal all the way around!! I love them and hope more color options will be available one day.

I bought them for riding on my Jet Ski but they are so comfortable I wear them all the time and can wear them so much longer than any of my other sandals.

These shoes are great for just wearing around, but are awesome for hiking and lighter trails, especially if you hate wearing boots like I do.

Superb arch support that is immediately apparent upon first use. Snap buckle is very convenient and ensures that sandal won't disapeer after the class 4/5 water rafting rapid.

I use the sandal for trail and water use and they have proved to be comfortable and sturdy - the reinforcments at key points have proved invaluable for water travel over rocks - fantastic product - I would buy them again - hope they are still around in years to come!

I wear this shoe every day. The pad over the big toe is a bit shorter than the past tevas I've worn, and the shape is a bit different, but these have turned out to be very comfortable. I put a lot of miles on them, so hopefully they will last as long as my previous versions.

I have spent a hundred dollars this year on inexpensive sandals in hopes of replacing my aging and dog chewed on Teva's with no success. I finally broke down and bought some Teva's online. Cost me almost [$] but worth every penny. Sizing is perfect and very comfortable. Wore them all day walking around a theme park with my kids. Love the buckle on the strap.
