These are great shoe. They are super stylish and the color I got (snorkel blue/red) was true to the picture. It is a little weird at first with the nubby sole but once you get used to it it is like a mini foot massage all day. I did not buy them for running so I cannot really comment on that but they are great casual shoes. My feet run wide and these are a bit on the narrow side for me but not as bad as some Adidas shoes that I have tried on.

This felt very comfortable and lightweight, matches my Celtics Jacket. It looks good with my other Puma collection.

Instantly in love with these shoes. They are extremely comfortable with a nice soft insole with a sort of slippery surface that is nice. The design looks much better in person. I have so far tried them out with jeans and shorts, both work very well. They do run a little narrow, so keep that in mind if you have wide feet. And an added (bonus?), I feel like a ninja in these shoes. They are extremely quiet walking around. I can usually hear myself stomping around my garage or in the office, but these bad boys are silent.

Arrived faster than expected and in perfect condition. The red reusable bag is a nice touch. The shoes fit true to form and are very comfortable. I would highly recommend these if you're looking for something with comfort and style.

Really enjoy wearing these shoes. They're very comfortable and are breaking in well. They were very affordable and - in my opinion - a very good bargain.

Great sneaker for a great price. I use it mostly for working out and doing work around the house. The shoe is a little warm due to the fabric on the inside, but overall very comfortable.

I bought these shoes about 6 months ago or less. I really liked the style of them, but unfortunately they did not last. By month 3 they were faded and the sole had started separating from the shoe. Also, there was virtually no arch support and the soles were so thin I had to put inserts in. The sides also had little support so by the end they were misshapen. In addition, the treads started wearing off the bottoms fairly quickly, and now there is a place where it is completely smooth. All this from not even wearing them every day. They look nice, but that's the extent of their charm. I'm not going to bother to replace them.

These shoes feel great and look great - especially for the price! Just note though that although the photos show that the Puma "swoosh" is white in actuality it's metallicy silver. Still pretty cool, just a little different than the photos.

I wanted a pair of retro sneakers to wear with jeans and to use for casual occasions. These shoes are perfect...and I think they would work at the gym or when I jog too, I just haven't tried them there. Very comfortable and light.

These sneakers rock! Second pair I've purchased for my son who is an adult size 7.5. The sneakers are wide, comfy and totally old school stylish. My son plays sports on the playground every day and the sneaks are very supportive. Love. I bought my daughter a pair in pink and she loves them too!

Although it wasn't my first choice for a pair of shoes; but I was silly not to. They have a very nice subtle style about it that is not in-your-face. These are amazing and super comfy, like almost all Pumas I have worn.

This is actually the second pair of these great sneakers that I have purchased. The only thing is that the sole color was a better color in the first pair. I highly recommend this wonderful meeting of style and comfort.

Got my Whirlwind Classics from Zappos today and I couldn't be more pleased. They're light as a feather and sharp as hell!

TWO FOR ONE? The shoes fit as expected and they are super stylish. My 11 year old daughter approved so there is that. The two for one comment is that when I wear them into some restaurants or bars, they become ice skates! Seriously, one push and you could gracefully traverse your favorite Outback or Red Robin. The little protrusions on the bottom do very little for the whole "grip" aspect in sneaker expectations. I suspect the reason they had to reintroduce this sneaker is that the people who wore them in the 80s have finally mended their femurs. Don't get me wrong, I do like them very much, but i am way mindful of the surface that I am walking on. So it is like mindfulness training through your kicks!

This shoe is great! I was hesitant to buy a puma brand shoe because they are always so narrow and lack cushion. This shoe seems to be narrow as well, but the material gives enough to comform to the width of your feet. They are super soft and comfortable as well. I usually wear a 9.5 in most brands and that size was perfect for this shoe. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the limited color selection.

Love these classic looking old school sneakers! I was surprised to find them listed under men's sizes only. I converted women's size 7.5 to men's size 6 and they fit perfectly. They are pretty comfortable. However I did wear them once when it was wet outside and they were very, very slippery on the concrete. No grip at all so I would suggest to only wear them on nice days. I've got my eyes on the other colors ð???ð??¼

I needed a pair of old school sneakers to replace my worn out (and too small) Nike Cortezs. I could only find the Cortezs in all leather in my size and I really wanted nylon and suede, so I decided to give these Puma Whirlwind sneakers a try. These shoes seem to still use the original last and hard soles of sneakers from the 70's and 80's. As a result, the support and cushion is minimal. But they are very cool looking. I removed the original insoles and replaced them with a pair of Spenco insoles and they are much more comfortable. They run a half size small, so size accordingly. I noticed the sizing issue in the reviews here, so I knew to go up.

I loved these shoes. I got a lot of compliments on the style and they were very comfortable. Unfortunately, they only lasted me about 11 months. After that point, the padding behind my ankle wore out and the plastic inserts started cutting into my feet (ouch). The fact that the padding wore out in that one spot might have more to do with how I walk/how my feet are, but either way, the shoes were too painful/unusable once that padding wore out. That said, I wore them to death. I wore them almost exclusively (dress shoes here and there, other shoes for biking) for all 11 months. I wish they had a longer lifespan, but I think they held up well, considering. I'm buying another pair now.

The shoes are OK, but narrower across the ball of my foot than expected. My feet are medium width (C or D in Allen Edmunds, depending on the shoe), so this is disappointing. However, it isn't so tight that I'll return them. I wear them with a thin sock and put a shoe tree in them when not wearing them, and that seems to work out. But when it comes time to replace them, I'll look for a different model or brand.

These shoes are so frustratingly close to what I really want in a shoe. I love the style, and the general feel, but there are a few minor annoyances. The main thing that bothers me is that the heel area is a bit too wide. I can slide my heel back and forth what feels like about a quarter inch, and on uneven terrain this means your feet slide around in the shoes a bit too much, almost allowing the shoes to turn around your foot and come off. They are also a little too large for the size, so my foot slides slightly front and rear as well. I considered sending them back for a half size smaller, but worried that they would be too tight in the forefoot if I did, as they narrow at the toe. I'm considering getting a fitted footbed to help with these issues, as otherwise I love them. I'm especially fond of the driver's heel, as my last three pairs of shoes have suffered premature failure of the bond between sole and cushioning at the left heel. This is due to the fact that I drive a manual transmission vehicle with a low seating position, so my heel drags slightly when shifting. It's very annoying when that flap of rubber keeps sticking on the carpet when you drive. I should note that traction with these is an interesting mix. On smooth surfaces they can be really slick when wet, but on other surfaces, specially in somewhat loose dirt, they stick like glue. The other day I walked down a a very steep stream bank made of loose dirt with some friends. Everyone else struggled to control their descent and to get back up, but these Pumas made it a cake walk, other than the sliding around inside the shoes at least. They just plain stuck to the ground. I don't think football cleats could have done any better. Overall I do recommend them, but if you like a snug fit that stays put on the foot, then they might not be for you.

The look great, but don't have a ton of support. I bought them to use for a trip to Europe, but after breaking them in at home the week before I went and bought something else. Not a shoe you want to walk a lot of miles in.

Pretty terrific shoe. Comfy and great looking. Only problem is a bit of a narrow toe box, though not nearly as bad as some Puma shoes can be. Also doesn't breathe very well, but this hasn't been a major issue. More than makes up for it in overall comfort and style.

My first review on these shoes was overly critical. I ordered a 9.5 instead of 9, and felt that they were too large. If I ordered my true size, I would have not thought to put in an additional insole. I added the typical gel insole on top of the non-removable insole. There is sufficient give that these shoes are quite comfy, and snug all around, as I like them, although my heel slips out a very tiny bit. Sometimes the tongue kinks and puts an odd pressure on my instep. I ordered these to replace my favorite pair of old classic sneakers, and these shoes are great in that regard. The blue is bright, and it looks like it will remain vibrant.
