Pretty terrific shoe. Comfy and great looking. Only problem is a bit of a narrow toe box, though not nearly as bad as some Puma shoes can be. Also doesn't breathe very well, but this hasn't been a major issue. More than makes up for it in overall comfort and style.

As close to the classic Power Cat of the 1970s/80s as I've found in Puma's line. And nearly as comfortable. Like most Puma models, they run narrow and are best suited for those with moderate or low arches. When I bought the Black/White/Gum model months ago it had a black stripe not white, and black in the heel not yellow. Not sure why Puma made these changes but I like mine a lot better.

I bought 2 pairs because I was not exactly sure how it would fit. I kept one pair and returned the one that did not fit. I knew that it did not have good arch support because I tried it out at Marshalls shoes (but they didn't have my size). I bought it because of the nice fancy look and blue color. I inserted my $50 inserts to get good arch support and they fit perfectly.

Best athletic shoe I have ever owned (I'm 64). They are so comfortable and super sharp looking! The quality material and construction is readily apparent as soon as you lace them up.

These were the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I wore them for 2 years constantly, and would have continued if the nubs on the bottom hadn't worn off.

These are great looking shoes. I'm usually a size 10.5 and have a slightly wide foot. I ordered an 11 based on some reviews saying they run small/narrow and I regret not getting a 10.5. They run fairly true to size.

Incredibly comfortable. I generally don't like Pumas, as I find they have little arch support and the dyes of the shoes often run onto my socks, but these have been terrific.

I love the shoes! They are comfortable and provide great support and look great. My only complaint is that they squeak a lot when the bottom is wet and I am walking on a hard indoor surface; however, this is a minor complaint. Overall, I love the shoes and I made a great decision buying them!

Awesome casual sneaker! These are very comfortable and they look great. I don't use them for sports just for casual wear. I like them so much I want to buy another pair after I wear these ones out. I even love the laces.

Great shoe! Fit perfectly right out of the box. Glad I listened to other reviews, as the shoe does run one half size smaller. I wear a women's 9, and ordered a 7 1/2 (two sizes smaller to accommodate the equation from men's to women's, and then a half size smaller). The nubs on the sole add for great comfort. I will definitely order another pair. Zappos service was exceptional, as usual.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I love their bright red color, and if I had the guts would wear them all the time, and not worry that people said I was being unprofessional.

My first review on these shoes was overly critical. I ordered a 9.5 instead of 9, and felt that they were too large. If I ordered my true size, I would have not thought to put in an additional insole. I added the typical gel insole on top of the non-removable insole. There is sufficient give that these shoes are quite comfy, and snug all around, as I like them, although my heel slips out a very tiny bit. Sometimes the tongue kinks and puts an odd pressure on my instep. I ordered these to replace my favorite pair of old classic sneakers, and these shoes are great in that regard. The blue is bright, and it looks like it will remain vibrant.

I love these shoes. I had several pair in high school in the late '70's and now I remember why I liked them so much. They may be retro in look (not a bad thing!), but they are as good as any pair of modern running shoes for functionality and comfort. I go through a pair of treadmill shoes about every 5 months so I've had many varieties over the years. Good arch support, very light, excellent true-to-size fit for me (men's 9.5 D).

I love classic sneakers. Sadly, my favorite shoe has long since been discontinued, and it was finally time to own up to it and buy a new pair. I was looking for a replacement for my ROOS sneakers that have been my go-to rave (12 hours dancing & daily walking) shoe for the past 8 years. This shoe is good. It is very simple. I ordered a half size larger as per recommendations. I guess I usually wear my shoes tight because 9.5 feels large on me. Maybe it's because I'm used to bouldering shoes(?). Today I danced around for 5 hours just to get used to them. I miss my old shoes, but these will do. The non-leather upper part is not mesh. It isn't misrepresented, but worth noting. I like my sneakers to be snug, and simple. These are pretty good. I would order them in my real size if I could do it all again. I probably will try another brand next time. They're good. Order your real size if you like shoes that fit. If you like lots of wiggle room in your toe box, get a half size up.

Had to return these shoes as they were way too narrow for my feet.. I always wear a size 12 and that's what I ordered. Lengthwise they were fine, I had enough toe room. But the shoes were so narrow that it felt like my toes were being squished together from the sides. Seemed like the shoes had a reasonable amount of cushion compared to some other shoes I've worn that had very little cushion at all, so they were not too bad. If only my feet were a little more narrow.

I love wearing these. They look stylish and are very comfortable. I don't use them for running but more for just wearing around.

You don't always have to spend a fortune to get a good shoe. I have, but this is not one of them. Modestly priced, but a premium shoe. Couldn't be happier with this purchase

Purchasing my Puma Whirlwind Classic from Zappos proved a seamless experience. Also,this shoe felt true to the size ordered, is eye catchingly smart looking, very comfortable, and appear well made and durable. I have worn them at some point in every day since receipt. Highly recommended.

Love 'em. I don't see how anyone ever ran in these, but they are some comfy damm shoes.
