I bought this for my 23 year old daughter. She loves it! She wears a size small, and the sizing was accurate and looks great.

I love this sweater vest. It is stylish and warm and very functional. It has more of a slim fit which I like a lot. I'm 5'3 and 125 lbs and I got a size M with fits great.

It's a nice, lightweight vest that is form fitted. It's also a little on the short side, so if I were planning to wear anything other than long sleeved tee shirts under the vest, I would definitely get a larger size.

I have the Patagonia Better Sweaters in both brown and the grey. I wear a medium and they both fit great. The vest does not say that it is a slim fit. I kept it but wish now that I would have sent it back for a large. It does fit shorter and tighter then the normal fit. Great material.

I want to say that I am more than impressed with the customer service that I received from Zappos! I placed an order on 12/15 for Xmas gift and did not receive anything. I called on 12/22 to see what the status was. The item never shipped due to unavailability. The cust svc rep walked me through all comparable items online and found one that was similar, however, cost extra. Not only did Zappos pay the extra but overnighted the product at Xmas time on their dime as well. We received it the next day as promised. This is excellent customer Service and I will use and recommend Zappos whenever I can. Needless to say my daughter loved the product!

In my mind, my vest will always be from Patagonia. I have bought them over the years and have yet to have one wear out, or have problems with them. This vest is warm, good looking and nice deep pockets.

This is a well made, attractive, good fitting vest. I am 5' and 110 pounds and the size medium was perfect. The 23" length was also a factor in my purchase. But even if you are taller it would still be ok, just a different look. I have it in black and just ordered the red today.

I ordered this vest to take with me on a trip to Colorado. I needed something stylish and easy to back and easy to layer. I absolutely love this vest. It has a flattering fit and is so warm and comfy and great for layering. I ordered my college aged daughter one and she loves it too. I would recommend this item.

I found this vest at a local store, they had a size Large and it was too big but I could tell that I loved the fit. I bought a size M online and it fits perfectly. I'm 5'4" and 130 lbs with an athletic build. It fits over my larger tops too. So happy that I found it on Zappos!

This is a great looking, well-fitting vest for men or women. It wears well, doesn't fade, keeps it's shape. A vest I will wear for a long time.

I have two of these vests, one grey, one black. Wear them all the time around the house, even with my PJ's. Not exactly stylish, they are a little baggy. But so soft and comfortable. I would buy more if they came in more interesting colors.

I LOVE this sweater vest and it is my favorite ever! I wear it everywhere and I can thunk it in the wash machine if I can horse slobber on it and then wear it out for a nice evening when it comes out of the wash! FABULOUS and favorite Patagonia ever!

This is a great vest, it is warm and good looking all at the same time. It is chilly here in New England in November and I am grabbing this vest almost daily to add an extra layer to ward off the cold. I found that it also washed and dried very nicely. I could not be more pleased with my new vest.

Great vest for throwing over everything from a casual tee shirt to a more preppy chambray collared shirt. Slim fit, so if you are intending to wear over thick shirts, would recommend sizing up. Very comfortable, soft lining.

You cannot not love this vest! It's the most needed piece of clothing in my closet. It's barely in the closet though, since it is being used so much. Perfect under a winter coat, perfect under a rain coat, perfect around the house. The fit is snug, but that's what I like for ultimate warmth. I am 5'2, 125 lbs and I ordered a medium.

Love, love, love this vest! Sporty but simple and plain enough that it can be dressed up with a cute scarf. It's super warm and a bit shorter than most other vests -- and actually I think that makes it the perfect length. This is going to be my go-to winter staple this season for sure.

This vest is perfect! I love everything about it. It fits snug enough to keep you warm, but not too snug. It also feels a little more stylish (because of the fit). I normally wear a small on top, but order a medium for a little room..and it's just right. I am 5'7' 135 pounds. I live in Arizona so we do not need heavy jackets most of the time, so vests can really fit the bill. I recommend this vest!

I love this vest! Fits nice. I ordered a medium, I usually wear a small, but ordered a small before and it was too snug. It's roomy in just the right places. Trim fit. I am 5'7' and 132 lbs. Normal size 7/8 or small (don't have big shoulders). I would recommend this vest.

Love the better sweater material - but not sure why this seems to be cut so much shorter than the other ones. I found it to fit smaller in length and overall than the 1/2 zips in the same material. I'm 5 '7, so a bit taller than average maybe, but was disappointed with length. Blue color is really beautiful. Bummer I have to return.

I own the Better Sweater jacket in a small and love it. I bought this in two sizes (small and medium), and neither one worked for me as far as style or comfort. The linen/ivory color was bland, and the cut is very close and completely flattened me out (which the ivory color made more noticeable). The small would have been the right size, but zipped up, it choked me a bit. As a technical piece, if you don't care how it looks, I can see this being useful for layering as it's form-fitting and non-bulky. I was looking for a vest for that purpose, actually, but I still wanted it to be stylish and somewhat flattering. This was not. Perhaps black would have been better and not had the blandness/obvious flattening issue that the ivory did -- still would have the choking issue, though.

I purchased this as a gift for my mother in law. She usually wears a medium and that's what I ordered for her. She said it is extremely snug and I need to return it for a large. Other than that, she would give it 5 stars.
