I ordered the chrome and brown in size small and love the color of both. I am glad that I got the chrome since the light gray goes with everything but does not show dirt like white would. I am 5'6" and generally a size 4. The small is actually quite a bit loose on me but I am hoping to wear these through pregnancy and they are working out just fine so far. They are made from very soft material, great for anything from car camping to casual office attire. They wash up easily and work great with leggings when it is cooler out. They are very versatile! As another reviewer mentioned, they do seem like a steep price for what they are but since I have been wearing one nearly every other day I would say it was worth it. The waist band is flattering and there us a key pocket on the inside that I will probably never use.

I bought this skirt for a trip to Germany and I practically wore it every day! It is a great weight, hits right at the knee and (although I didn't bother) seems like it would be quick to wash and hang dry. I've continued to wear it since being home. Fabulous!

Wonderful summer skirt! Great shape and very flattering to curvy figures. The fabric is very soft and flows. Washes well too. It is my go to skirt for this summer.

Comfortable and cute - the grey/white is slightly see-through, don't wear dark underwear with this one.

I was looking for a casual comfortable go with anything skirt and this was it. I would recommend this skirt.

I love all 3 of my Horny Toad skirts, including my latest acquisition; the Chaka Skirt. It's comfy and cute. The waistband style is a little thick which means I have to choose my top with more care than a less-styled skirt. I tote this around in my tote to slip on after work.

Great casual skirt. Material is lightweight with a great "swing" to it. Great for packing in a suitcase...doesn't wrinkle easily. Good length just above the knee. More than I would usually pay for a skirt, but no regrets.

Great travel skirt It's drapey, smooth and flattering. My teen daughter wore it on her HS exchange trip to China. It can be dressed up or made to look casual easily.

I am 5' 3", 128 lbs. and ordered this in a size medium. I am pear-shaped, so it fits nice through the hips and backside, skimming my curves instead of clinging to them. However, the waist is a little loose and I have to roll the waistband over once for a better fit. I am okay with this because I'm pregnant and will be all summer, so I would prefer something that is a little looser in that area for comfort purposes. My only complaint is that this skirt is a little long. It cuts me off right at the knees which isn't very flattering for a short person. I would prefer this skirt to be a few inches shorter. Not too short of course, but a nice middle-ground would be ideal, or offer it in a petite version. Since I am pregnant, I am less concerned with the length right now and more concerned with comfort so am keeping it. The fabric is quite lovely. Sort of a slub cotton look with slight variation in the fabric color. I bought the brown and am happy with the color.

Great skirt! The only problem I am having is the waist band: it is very comfortable, but also getting very loose, so I have to actually pull up the skirt once in a while to make sure I don't lose it! Otherwise the size is perfect.

Super happy with this skirt. It's definitely a 'go-to' item in my closet this summer. It goes with everything and is extremely comfortable. A word to the wise tho: it tends to run a little small. I almost sent it back for the medium, but after wearing it awhile it seems to 'give' enough. If you are border line between a small and a medium, go with the medium. You won't be sorry.

Just ok. I personally didn't realize nor like the fading design nor the color which is a darker green than shown. Bought a medium which fit fine, slightly tight thru the hips at 5'3" and 140#.

This skirt is a nice length and the fit is as expected. The fabric is thin but I think it works fine for a summer skirt. In winter I would wear it with leggings. The black is not see-through.

This skirt is really comfortable and I like the slight 'grain' to the black - makes it more interesting than the usual flat back. However, the extra material at the waist makes me feel like I'm wearing maternity clothes - it looks exactly like a skirt I had when pregnant (guess I should have kept it!). I won't tuck shirts into this so no one else will really see the waistband, so I suppose it doesn't matter. Size wise, the skirt feels big. I normally wear a 12 in pants and the Large is almost too loose. If I lose any weight I'll have to take the skirt in, so I would order a medium in this brand next time.

I love this skirt! I usually shy away from just-above-knee skirts, as they just never seem to fit - I go for ankle-length or frankly rather short. I'm glad I gave this one a try though, the fit is gorgeous! I got it in hyacinth, and loved it so much I then bought it in chrome, though the hyacinth is nicer.

I would say this runs small. I wear a medium but the small was a better fit. I didn't care for the slightly heathered look and thin material.

I absolutely love these skirts and have the black one. I recently ordered the chrome and had to return it. For some reason, I was under the impression it was more of a white color, when in actuality it's a light gray. I was hoping for white.

I rank this as a 4 star only because after washing, its a bit wrinkly. Even after a light ironing, its still a tad messy. Great fit. Very comfortable and versatile.

This is a great skirt! I love the fit and feel but the color is pumpkin orange not watermelon.

I love these Horny Toad Skirts -- they travel well, they're comfortable, and appropriate for all but the dressiest occasions. The cut is really flattering, too. The only thing I don't love is that with the lighter blue color, you really can't get away with wearing anything underneath besides a thong or Spanx. I can do it, but I'm old and don't really love the thong.

I really wanted to love this skirt! I saw it on a friend and fell in love, but it wasn't meant to be. I tried both the small and xs (although I typically wear a size 6) and there wasn't much difference. The scrunchy waistband should have been flattering, but I felt like it made me look very rounded under my belly button. The fabric was light and flowy and would have sold it on that despite the fit...but not at full price. I ended up returning them. But after seeing it on my friend and feeling it first-hand, I would say it is a perfect skirt for someone not particularly lumpy (that's not to say skinny, just smooth). It's very drapey and doesn't hide anything.

Hyacinth is a lovely color and the skirt is light and comfortable. The gathers at the waist didn't look good on me, though, so I returned it.
