Teal looks nice (pale, blonde) but the black looks almost frumpy. I am 5'10" and it hots my knee. Very casual, good everyday dress.

I love this dress. I purchased the Inky Teal and it is a beautiful color and print. I am a 36D and I had to exchange the medium for a large. Zappos customer service is the best.I received the replacement the next day. This dress is very flattering on and is also versatile. Like others have said it drapes beautifully.

Love this dress! I have trouble finding dresses that look good on my straight and non curvy frame. This fits well and drapes wonderfully. I got lots of compliments the first day I wore it. I am particularly looking forward to traveling with it as it will pack beautifully.

I have this dress in two colors. Very comfortable and flattering. 34DD and it doesn't show too much cleavage - just enough to not be frumpy! The length is good, too - 5'7" and it hits an inch above the knee. One of my dresses is five years old and the fabric and fit has held up like new. Love it!

I have not yet worn this dress but I love the fit and drape of the fabric. The dress looks good on and can be dressed up. I plan to wear it tomorrow to a class reunion.

My go-to dress for a 4 week trip overseas. Flattering to my short and slightly overweight frame. Plan to buy this style in some solid colors for work. Comfortable, doesn't wrinkle, hand washable and dries overnight of you are traveling.

I have purchased three styles of Toad & Co empire waist dresses and I adore them all. This one is especially stunning in its fit. I am tall with a long torso and the length is perfect, falling right above my knees. The only slight downside is that the cap sleeves sometimes ride up if I raise my arms very high, but then I also have fairly broad shoulders. It is certainly not a deal-breaker as the dress is beautiful and fits great.

It's my go-to dress. I have 2 colors that I bought last summer and I'm looking for more colors to buy now. It's extremelly comfortable, especially for those hot summer days. It can be worn with or without a bra, cover everything, doesn't show love handles.

Love this dress! The cut is flattering and it fits true to size based on the measurements. It wears really well and remains virtually wrinkle free. I was worried about how it would hold up after I washed it, but success on that front too.

Perfect summer dress. I ordered and returned the Chacka skirt from the Toad&co because the waist band was unflattering for the little extra weight I have around midriff. The dress is perfect however. Because of raised waist it drapes nicely and does not show anything you don't want shown in the stomach area. Wonderful fabric and true to size.

Loved the dress -- need to lose a few pounds more to make the "Large" size fit. That could take a whole season -- so I'll try this style another time (with any luck).

This dress is a favorite. Flattering shape for all sorts of bodies. The neck line isn't too low. Horny Toad/Toad+Co uses a great fabric for their knit dresses. It's a teeny bit longer than I'd like on a long-waisted, 5'3 frame, but that's no biggie. I have the Dolphin River print and it's true to color and size.

Nice casual black go to dress! This company used to be Horny Toad and they always consistently have offered casual dresses that are easy to wear and at a great price point. This label has never disappointed me.

I ordered this in the black, as well, which I already reviewed. This is a darling little dress but the cut of the armhole is strange and is too large horizontally. It makes this too revealing so sadly returning both dresses.

Really wanted to keep this dress because the overall style, fit and material quality are great! But there is a strange cut out under the arm which looks odd from the size. Makes it appear like you get a peek at the topside of my breast LOL! This would bother me every time I put this on. So sadly, back it goes.

Toad & Co fits to size for me. A true small. I got this dress in the Deepwater which is a nice color. The drape of the dress seems a little off to me, but I kept it. I have Toad & Co dresses in other styles that I liked better. But overall still one of my favorite brands.

I am 5’5”, 155 lbs & a large fits perfectly, just covers my knees. Shape is flattering & fabric is comfortable. I’m going to order another in Deepwater color.

This dress is very flattering, but unfortunately the length is a little long for me, so it will be going back.

I ordered 3 of these because I loved it so much! The fit is amazing and no wrinkles after days in a suitcase while traveling. Only problem was the 3rd one I bought in Smoke Lean Stripe folded up on the bottom after the first wash. I have tried to iron it back down and it will not stay. I never had this problem with the other 2 dresses even after multiple washes.

I am no longer as skinny as these models. A permanent back injury has left me with an exercise problem. I usually wear a 12-14 and am always looking for ways to hide my weight. I purchased this dress based on the look on the models online which I have begun to realize, at my size, doesn't translate from these skinny girls to my larger figure. I have resorted to maxi skirts and tees for the summer because the shorter skirt sizes always seem to cut me off and make me look even dumpier. I am 5'7" and have an out of proportion body with a shorter torso and longer legs (inseam is a 34")so I have a difficult time with inseams for pants, shorts and skirts. I tried this dress on with no hope of it looking like much of anything and this dress fit so well, my dh actually thought I had lost weight. It is not tight fitting and yet it curves in to my waist so that it appears that I have a smaller waist. I would recommend you give it a try. I purchased the L and XL based on reviews and ended up sticking with the L. The XL arm holes and fit were simply too baggy (yea!) so I returned the XL and am on here to buy another in a different color(First purchase was in black) and will see if the fit carries over to a patterned look!

Love the Falcon Brown color... very earthy. Fabric is a bit thin for my comfort. Neckline cut is cute, torso is a bit slender with a nice flared shirt. The cap sleeves turn out to be uncomfortable for me... wish it was no sleeve or full short sleeve. I wear a 10-12 with a 38B bra... the Large fit fairly well with not much wiggle room as the fabric is so thin. Thankful for Zappos amazing customer service and return policy!

This is a cute, practical dress, and I can see why it gets such good reviews. I wanted to add that the style of the top doesn't work for broad shoulders. The dress has some stretch, but it's tight for me in the shoulders. I'm slim, so sizing up wouldn't work either. I don't like summer dresses that are tight, so this is going back.

It's a cute little dress. The fabric is very casual but feels nice. It falls nicely and doesn't cling. I ordered the Indigo Brush Print and it was true to the photo. I do feel it is a little overpriced for such a casual knit dress.

I travel a lot. I'm just about to take this on a month-long trip to Asia. Washed and hung it to dry (like I will be doing in hotels), and it ended up with only very slight wrinkles; certainly presentable. I wish the waist was just a bit looser; I'm a little round there (5'1, 115#, apple shaped). Also wish it had 1" higher neckline and pockets, but it's a great travel dress.
