Pretty awesome! These are some impressively solid boots. You can totally feel how well-made they are in every step. They're a little shorter in the calf than I would have preferred but it gives them a slightly retro look so it's okay. The leather has softened up a bit since I bought them a few months ago so they do have a little bit of slouch to them now.

I originally wrote a review about how much I loved these, and I still do although I have to return them. This may be only my problem but the boot is very tight on my left foot, mostly in the arch and on the top. I tried them 1x and I was in pain at the end of the day. They really are beautiful and the only Fryes that fit my narrow calves. Frye has been inconsistent with sizing for me lately but Zappos is always awesome!

These boots are fantastic. Leather is soft, height is perfect, just enough heel and great color. Comfortable right out of the box! These Fryes do have a narrower calf circumference than other styles (which is why I bought them). I tried 5 different pairs of Fryes until I found these. I have very small (11.5") calves and was swimming in other Frye styles. Circumference at top is 14", which in the boot world is considered small. Zappos, was fantastic with all my returns and next day shipping. They took care of me through literally 3 months of Frye shopping. Every customer service rep I spoke to was polite and helpful. Love Zappos and Love these boots!

I love these boots. The color is great. You can wear them with black because they are so dark and matte. They look great with skirts or pants. I found them true to size but I have narrow feet so if that's not your case you may want to go a 1/2 size larger. The quality is impeccable and they are oh so stylish. 10 thumbs up!

I love these boots. They are very similar to my campus boots with a slightly higher heel and rounder toe. So cute - the fawn color is beautiful! True to size to a half size big. SO comfortable.

This is hands down the best pair of boots that I have ever owned! This is my first pair of Fryes and now I understand what all the buzz is about them! They run true to size in my case, they are comfortable need a little breaking in ankle area but it is bearable. The color fawn is amazing between taupe and grey and brown. It is hard to describe. I love them!

I loved these boots. These are my first expensive shoes that I have ever had but I guess they are worth it. My only wish with these boots was that the outside sole would protect from water because, every time I use them in snow while I am walking it bothers me. I was thinking that I could only wear these in dry weather, but I love wearing these going to school.

I love these boots! I currently own a Frye harness boot but wanted something a little more dressy but still casual...this boot is perfect. It has a higher block heel, rounder toe, and the shaft height was perfect...not too high. I'm 5'2" and ordered a size 6.5. The size was perfect. Had to stretch out for a couple of days and can only wear with thin socks.

LOVE these boots. I am so glad I decided to splurge on these. they are worth every penny and look great casual or I've even dressed them up with some pretty sweater dresses this season. my only comment is the calves are a bit loose on me so they look best with skinny pants, leggings or tights if I don't want to look like I have big legs.

I own many pairs of boots (like more than 10). My Frye boots are by far my favorite. I have 2 pairs of the Frye Sabrina 14L. They are beautiful and incredibly well made. Buttery soft, thick leather that stands straight up--no bulging at the sides of the shaft, year after year. Compliments just about every time they are worn. The heel hight is substantial but comfortable. I wear them with everything from skinny jeans to skirts with tights. I don't even think the price is all that much for this kind of quality. Just the best.

I was prepared to have to send these boots back; I bought them on an whim because Zappos had a super deal on them. I read reviews about them not fitting calves and taking 30 minutes to get on. I was completely surprised when I received these boots and they slid right onto my feet and my just inside of "standard" size calves. For reference, I am shoe size 11 and 5'9" so I think their perfect fit has a lot to do with the fact that the boots' circumference increases a bit with each size, and they happen to hit me about 3" below the knee, just before my calves begin to get wider. I could wear them with skinny jeans at first, and after a couple of wears they have stretched just enough for regular straight leg jeans. I think they look a bit strange with boots over them, but maybe that's just because my feet are so large. These Frye's are my first pair of genuine leather boots, and they fit like they were made for me. I'm very pleased with them so far.

No question, this is a beautiful boot. However, I usually wear a 7. I bought a 7.5. They are hard on my feet. I wish I bought an 8 so I could put my orthotics in them. Also, I love high heels but I find these to be a tad high. Some regrets that I didn't buy the Frye Campus 14L which has a slightly smaller heel and a nice square toe. But without a doubt, these are beautiful boots. They are just not as comfortable as I would like. I hope they will soften up in time. I may take them to a cobbler to have them stretched. I have been wearing them for three weeks now.

I'm so glad I finally invested in some Frye Boots. These look great and go with a lot of different outfits. I've worn them to work, on days when I've been on my feet a lot, and my feet weren't killing me at the end of the day. The only downside to these boots is they are not easy to get on and off. I bought the fawn color and it's nice and neutral, so it matches a lot of outfits. Definitely worth it.

Ended up keeping these boots after trying several pair. The sizing with Frye's is so inconsistent. I usually wear a size 7 and went with a 6.5 which still feels a bit loose, but the size 6 I ordered was way too small. Then I tried another size 6 a week later and it fit perfect. Sadly I had already worn my 6.5's outside. I bought the Redwood soft pebble which is really a gorgeous color, and it was on sale! And I love the simple style on these. I've been looking for years for a basic, quality leather boot for walking around the city and this was really the best I found that I could afford. They were a lot more than I wanted to spend but after trying on dozens of cheaper boots in the $100 range, it just seems like now anything under $300 is made in China and the leather feels like plastic. I finally made the splurge because I know these will at least last me a very long time.

Rough and unlined leg shafts with rubber foot pads. Why aren't these leather lined given the price? Anyway that's moot because they sent me TWO RIGHT BOOTS, so they went back anyway as they are unwearable.

I so badly wanted to keep these boots...they are beautiful and fit great; however after tromping around in them I could tell that this unique painted hide was wearing off and I'd be left with fussy unfinished light colored weirdness. Not sure Frye tested this one out.
